Well I think the Nostalgia Critic would say to SP and Hinata fans who all call Hinata a perfect goddess who is meant to have Naruto.
 

Now I really want him to review the last and see what he says and wonder if maskao would help out.

I am afraid he might like the movie overall....I mean, Nostalgia Critic said he liked Ghostbusters 2016 which, at leats for me and alot of others, was just a downright horrible movie...and no, it wasn't because "it was a female cast and it ruined my childhood." It was just a really bad movie.

Unlikely unless he's secretly a nH fan. The storytelling and pacing are just kittening god awful. It's like the worst anime movie for neutral fans that I've ever seen or even heard of.

Not gonna lie I don't think this episode was that bad.. I'll even say it was good.

 

 

There is a scene between Sarada and Sakura when it comes to the subject of Naruto and Boruto.

 

 

Sakura: "it's your first sleepover with friends." 

 

Sarada: "I'm not going because I really want to go."

 

 Sakura (pats Sarada on the forehead): "Come on for someone going off to have fun, you sure don't look excited.  Did something happen?

 

Sarada: "No it's just that idiot Boruto being stupid again." 

 

Sakura (laughs): "Oh Boruto again." 

 

Sarada (curious): "What?"

 

Sakura: (smiles with laughter): "It's just that I used to say that about Naruto." 

 

Sarada (surprised): "To Lord Hokage?" 

 

Sakura: "To me he's just Naruto." 

 

Sarada: "Hey mom, were you two good friends?" 

 

Sakura: "Well.... maybe not much in the academy, but when we became a team. We were more than family." 

 

Sarada: "So you can get close after graduation?" 

 

Sakura: "Of course." 

 

 

 

That's pretty much the scene, I mean there's a little more regarding eternal friendship, but that was mainly the jest of it. One of the few things that stuck out to me when it came to this episode. 

 

 

Next week, I think is going to be the prelude to the Graduation Exams, so I'll be keeping my eye on that and the next two since I think they cover the exam stuff, unless I'm wrong on that note.

Well, this would prompt Salad to question: "Well, why didn't you get with him then?"

I mean this is just poking at the fact that Sakura should have gone with Naruto and not with Sasuke. Here Sakura is telling Salad that just because Boruto is an idiot doesn't mean they can't have a connection...uh HELLO!!!! You are basically telling your own daughter not to make your own mistake and give Boruto a chance. Maybe you should have thought about that yourself.

I am surprised Sakura isn't like: "Yeah, stay away from him. Go with the cool guy like I did with me and your father." Salad then retorts: "Why? So I can be home alone raising a kid as a single mother like you are?"

There is just no love for SS in this series what so ever.

And again, so it is NOT okay for Naruto and Sakura to hook up, but it is okay for Boruto, his clone, and Salad, her clone, to hook up? I hate this fandom. I really really really do.

Maybe Boruto should go with Sumire and Salad should go with a Sasuke clone too. (Burrito is not a Sasuke clone. Sorry, but he isn't. They don't even have the same character type.)

It really brings a huge question: Why should Salad get with Boruto when Sakura wouldn't go with Naruto? Maybe Salad "sees Boruto as a brother."

So I guess this blows the "Naruto and Sakura see each other as brother sister argument" away. Pro-enders can stop saying it since this kills that viewpoint.

Again, maybe Salad should be questioning all of this.

Could imagine a scene where Salad is like "So, Lord Seventh....mom, why didn't you two hook up if you two were so close?" Imagine what both of them would say.
Naruto: "Well, I did have a crush on your mom, but she was too much into your father."
Sakura: "Well....I....it just didn't work out."
Salad: "So....because my mother is horrible with love and stupid about the obvious, it stopped you two from being my parents....thanks, mom. I appreciate it."
Sakura: "Salad, you don't understand..."
Salad: "No, I get it. I wonder how you would feel, mom, if I just went with a guy that treated me like father treats you."

I got to give Salad one thing....she is savage against Sakura.

I know even thoughI liked the scene I was still sitting there going like what the  hell?

I'll give Boruto this though, atleast the characters actually feel genuine friends with one another.   One thing I would like to know is Noriyuki Abe's thoughts so far cause to me I feel it had his fingerprints at various points in the episode.

When you have characters have conversations like this...well, it's gonna get messy.

I mean, if they are going to use NaruSaku as a basis to why Boruto and Salad get together and why they make sense....then it is going to lead people to question "Why didn't Naruto and Sakura get together then?"

It's a catch-22 again.

Well, LuckyChi7, here is your new argument....if Salad and Boruto are so good together and compatible, then why didn't Naruto and Sakura get together? It's an oxymoron that one arguments works for one, but it doesn;t work for the other and in the same breath say that Boruto and Salad are like NaruSaku.

If Boruto and Salad getting together is like NaruSaku and pro-enders like them getting together, why did they hate Naruto and Sakura hooking up for the same reasons? These people give me a headache. This is where we should be going "Well, Salad is a b---h and a wh-re. Boruto should totally go with Sumire because she is so much more loving and caring for Boruto."

I can see them saying: "But they aren't compatible" or something like that and you can be like "So why did you like Naruto and Hinata and not NaruSaku if Boruto and Salad have the same dynamic."

The kitten doesn't even make any sense even if we assume that Sakura only ever loved Sasuke. The way that Sakura acts in the relationship makes no sense. Why does she wear the Uchiha crest? Sasuke doesn't wear it anymore, and Sakura never knew anything about nor did she really care that Sasuke was an Uchiha. She liked Sasuke for the way he was and how he looked. She gives no s*** about the clan. Yet now she's really, really proud of the clan when Sasuke isn't anymore? And lobotomizing her own personality when this is not even something Sasuke would particularly desire.

 

You can't call any attention to the SS relationship without Sakura having to face the fact that she was basically brainwashed from high above. But it's not so bad because Sasuke also was, considering he showed no interest in, and was not compatible with this female at all.

Haha! Even if it was indeed a rivalry, Sakura the character would pick Naruto anyway, because obviously neither of them love her, so why not go with the one that at least cares about her? It never makes sense that Sakura would want to force herself on Sasuke like this.

This is coming off to me as a warning sign. They have only shown any NS moments since the Last is when they are desperate. 

 

Lucky. Don't know enough of the man personally so can only guess. But. He was the director of the Bleach anime, which he was allowed to cancel without any problem (even hoped to come back to it at a later date) because they were able to make up the money with Naruto. Hell they even replaced it with the Rock Lee SD spin off. So by the time Bleach was over Naruto was a huge success, by the time he was put in charge of it sequel the franchise was falling apart. What changed in that time? They among other things is that changed the pairings.

 

Most of the people at SP most likely realize that hinata was a mistake by this point. Remember Junko told Kishimoto to be quite about the pairings at Jump Festa only two months after the ending happened. Only her fanatics refuse to accept it, which is why we have the Clone. Is he one of her fanatics I don't know.

 

But there is a reason he putting all this effort into Boruto. Lets say you run a company and you have product that doesn't look like it going to sell well. Would you rather give it to a guy that put no effort because he also see it not going to sell well, or are you going to give it to a guy that will put his all into making as much as success as possible even if it inevitably fails? His job is to keep Boruto going until Black Clover hopefully takes off, but they like it if he actually put some effort to see if it even possible to save Boruto.

 

James. At he beginning/ending they were toying with the idea of having Salad behave somewhat like Hinata, by stalking Bolt. But then the backlash and failure of the last happened. So BS became a pure clone of NS (with maybe some elements of SNS) since that help make the series successful for 15 years. The problem is when NS was canon they had MK, Sakura's parents, DT/JT, and OR parallels to help sell and promote NS. For one reason or another (that I don't feel like typing out at the moment) they can't use any of those anymore. So all they are left with is NS to parallel with BS. Which means they have to have NS supporting moments because that's what BS was based off of, while also trying to appease nH/SS to make sure they don't leave. From what I understand there were nH moments in this latest episode as well.
