We also get a teaser for the Black Clover movie.  Tabata's comments seem to suggest that it will be canon to the manga, probably taking place within the recent time-skip. 

 

Also, BC subreddit are being salty, entitled brats over Ichika kicking Asta's ass in training and labeling her a "Mary Sue", which is just a translation for "I don't want Asta to be challenged by this new female character since he's the main protagonist! I don't care if the internal logic over why she's beating his ass such as being exponentially more proficient in Ki, which massively amplifies strength and isn't derivative of magic, or that she's older and more experienced in combat, makes perfect sense. This is Asta's show and he should always win!"

I don't mind Asta getting knocked around, but what I don't like is how Ichika seems to look down on his greatest ability, to never give up, by claiming he was pushing himself too hard, since it reminds me of Mereoleona to an extent, but she did get over it quickly. In Ichika's case, she's just taking her frustration with Yami out on Asta is what I have the issue with. She needs to work that out eventually, but she shouldn't take her being angry at her big brother on Asta.

I’m just assuming that it’s not that Ichika was mopping the floor with Asta that they have a problem with more so than she was being rude and condescending to him for no reason. Plus she wasn’t immediately impressed either when Asta instantly picks up on using ki offensively unlike Yami whom immediately acknowledged him. So they wanted the typical power fantasy schtick of him shutting her up. But that’s just my guess. It’s shallow, I know, bit it may explain it. What, they want Ichika to be part of Asta’s harem now?

I can imagine it will take some time since Ichika seems more stubborn than Yami is, given how his growing experiences included when he knew he couldn't best Dante on his own and asked Asta for help, something he wasn't known to do before and how he stubbornly "looked down" on his team, and realizing he was the one who was also looking for a place to belong when he formed the Black Bulls when the whole team came to save him.

Yami pulling a Itachi without good cause or if he was simply framed.

Yeah it may feel like it in a sense but well see how well Tabata does on this plot point. One thing I do notice regarding Black Clover is that the emotional moments are just glossed over and not given much focus. Im not complaining I just notice it.

So...

The top tier threat to Lucius right now is Yuno. I'm only miffed that as usual (not always though) Yuno gets his powerups off panel. It is also a bit questionable how he became a bigger threat than Yami or William but whatever I'm not going to question too much.
