@ LuckyChi I wanna watch your review, but every time I see Hinata, I'm like;
Although, I'm sure your review is good, seeing as I've watched your chapter reviews.
I honestly would like to know how much was spent on advertising, production, and merchandise. This movie by far has had the most of all three things, than any other movie. But, how much they were able to profit, will most likely will remain a mystery. Which sucks.
But, I'd like to think, those clocks, figurines, two different types of key chains, posters, coins, CDs, movie books, and chocolates would all cost a pretty penny when adding up the creation cost. And consider that many Japanese fans aren't buying, that means much of this junk is collecting dust instead of dollars.
If the desperate marketing for the final volume is any indication of how bad Hinata sells, then SP/Kishi coming to rue their decisions might be a possibility.
no worries redrose I understand your reason, and I'm sure you'd love it.
Tell me about it, to think the series would go this low and how many they invested into what they consider a masterpiece is really stunning. Which makes me wonder how they're reacting to the feedback from the Japanese fanbase.
Speaking of sales I just saw an article about Naruto making it in the top #5 US monthly Bookscan January List with Volume 68, the one where Naruto TNJ Obito. I'm actually okay with Volume 68 making it in the top 5 tbh considering how that was one of my favorites. Guilty pleasure moment for me tbh.
The end was great! She got so embarrassed during that argument Lol
I got to say Strong World's actually tied with Film Z in my opinion. Though I got to say watching both movies makes me wanna catch up with the series again, it's going to take a while for sure, but hopefully I'll be able to before the end of the year. That's gonna be me goal.
