Hmm well Sakura's not in the trailer and people freaked out again over silly assumptions. A link to the trailer is...somewhere in this mess but it's not very long and doesn't really show much.

OMG, GUYS, I HAVE HUGE NEWS FOR YOU!!
So I just went on tumblr to check out some news for Naruto The Last, and one of the tumblrs I'm following said that there will AN EARLY SCREENING OF THE MOVIE ON November the 24th!!!!!! Apparently it's a lottery, and he is signing up for it. He already told me that he would do a summary of the movie once he gets out of it. He's fluent in English, so need for translation! Hopefully he wins the lottery!

Looking back over all the recently updated information, I still don't feel the need to be anxious or uncertain. Like certain other members who have managed to keep a leveled head have already mentioned, it just feels too coincidental that Pierrot would be portioning out this much screentime and publicity to Hinata while offering little to nothing for Naruto, Sakura, or any other characters. Their game plan appears to be to shove the Hyuga's #1 underdog down our throats as much as possible without consideration for what we may desire in terms of information regarding other characters. All of this feels so similar to the red herring debacle from Road to NInja's buildup.  Think. The conveniently aligned quotes, the imagery of Naruto and Hinata together, the obscurity of anything related to Sakura... It's just too easy. 

 

Right now I'm wondering why in the hell this ancient descendant of Kaguya is taking an interest in Hinata of all people. You would assume that he's been carefully studying the hierarchal structure and goings on of the Hyuga Clan if he intended to make a move against them. If that's true, why Hinata? Wouldn't Hiashi provide more power or a stronger set of eyes to whatever nefarious scheme he has in the works? 

Maybe he just needs the eyes regardless of how powerful they are, and Hinata is an easier pray than her dad and possibly little sister.

Bunke members are out of question because their doujutsu is made easy to seal thanks to the cursed mark.

In my book Kishi's already a bad writer. The biggest F you to us was the NaruSasu bond. If he does go for NH in the end that would just be the icing on that.

True  nothing is worse then SN , with NH even more so bc it goes against the MC theme thematically makes no sens  but the guy is insane so whatever lol.

 

how come we've never seen this flashback in the manga? 

Which one the small Hinata and Naruto in the snow ? BC its a filler where Hinata stalks Naruto again    Also why is lil Naruto angry pissed in that flashback if he's talking to her did he took the Sasuke approach with her ? Lol

Because we have to freak out it's in our nature. You see it comes with the territory of being a NS shipper.

Like I said a while back ago all this fandom needs in order to kneel is Hinata.

While that sounds reasonable, do you really think that this was the original motive for Pierrot's desire to prescribe so much emphasis to Hinata? If this man can pose a threat to Naruto the demigod then a few insects from the long-forgotten clan of doujutsu pushovers should be no trial to him. He should have taken Hiashi for better leverage, if nothing else.

@merry agreed. This is the last naruto movie and it's about Hinata/the Hyuuga. how lame. although I wouldn't want one about team 7 either tbh

Unless it's not the last movie, I'm not sure about that, but still, an entire movie for that? lame.

Btw, does it look like the villain is in the village? Why would Naruto be fighting in his casual clothes? Hinata too. If she's falling because of that scene where Naruto uses rasengan on the enemy, he's wearing a blue scarf.. and she looks like she's hanging onto a red one. Even Shikamaru is on the scarf bandwagon

yeah, that's what bothers me. why do they have to retcon and rewrite canon just for nh? i guess that's the only way to make it look more significant (this reminds me of ep 166).

I think people are freaking out (not that I agree) because:
-We got a quote from Kishi saying the movie is connected to the original series and is about love.
-We have a flashback scene of Naruto and Hinata as little kids.
-We know that Hinata's the one that gives him the red scarf, and that's it's a present she's always wanted to give him.
-We have a scene of Sakura smililing with her hands on Hinata's shoulder, and Hinata's blushing.
No matter how much I belive the manga completely points toward NS, this still doesn't look good for us coming from a canon movie from that takes place after a timeskip.
All we can do for now though is wait until next week and hope everything finally gets cleared up.
