Wow, as much as I dislike that image I have to admit that the art is ridiculously well done. I suppose we found the SS fan equivalent of LadyGT.

 

I just wish that we could get an NS cover with Sakura blushing towards Naruto, but something like that has no chance of happening until after Sakura realizes her love for Naruto, and who knows when will Kishi decide for that to happen.

 

I understand that Kishi probably thinks that it's ok for Sakura to blush around Sasuke even if her feelings have changed, but personally I'm just tired of that being a part of her character. But those are just my personal feelings since Sakura's blush in the cover could very well not have to do with that.

 

Maybe I'll be fine with it if Sakura says that she has come to see Sasuke as a brother or something. I think I've seen animes in which girls are fond of their brothers or brother-like figures and they blush around them and yet end up loving someone else. I think that's about the only set of circumstances in which I'll accept Sakura's fondness of Sasuke making her blush a little.

Brothers protect their sisters, not hurt/kill them.

Brothers defend their sisters integrity, not abuse them.

Brothers encourage their sisters, not put them down.

At most, Sasuke could be considered a teammate/comrade. Even considering him a friend after everything he has done is pushing it.

The hatred seemed to increase after 469. Many believed she was manipulating Naruto's feelings and doesn't actually have any sort of romantic feelings for Naruto. So its possible the hate would decrease when she admits she loves Naruto and NS becomes canon.

Team 7 is a family in all but name. That's just how the story is. A lot of people hate that Naruto even cares about Sasuke, but Naruto himself considers him his brother til the end, so that's not something that will change as much as you might dislike it.

If NS goes canon? Trust me, even if it's the last scene of the manga NS will definitely be confirmed.

 

That was the whole point of Kushina mentioning that Naruto would want a girlfriend one day so he should choose someone like her, and then what happens, Minato goes out of his way to ask if Sakura was his girlfriend and then compare her to Kushina. See how both scenes are purposely interconnected.

 

You don't create scenes like that to just leave up in the air.

Because the Team 7 bond is beyond simple friendship, come on you know that. The manga keeps throwing it at our faces.

 

It doesn't have to specifically be brother, but that she has gotten a familial love towards Sasuke. Brother is just the easiest example to use.

Actually the manga keeps stressing NaruSasu bromance bond more than Team 7 as a family
