.... So just because the focus is shifting away to the Deuteragonist (2nd Protagonist) that is probably gonna examine something that may or may not be important to the plot, based on a cryptic spoiler (reliable or otherwise), it's enough for you (and others) to be turned away? Hrm.

I said many times that will be a break from Naruto and Kishi will focus on Sasuke and the people who know everything... It will be a mini arc... make sense. Sakura will shine at the end of the battle.

Judging by the hint, I am interested as who are they. If anything, this could be:

1) one chapter dedicated to Sasuke finding the truth
2) those hints are for like 2-3 pages and then back to Naruto
3) we will have mini arc with Sasuke, much like how we had Jiraiya with Pain, despite happening on Search for Itachi arc.

That said that means the next step of Naruto's part definitely means a real fight begins there. Sadly, we must wait. That's somewhat good news to me. Felt like K9 got their moments and now, perhaps full blown main cast from here on out.

Oh well if we go back to Sasuke I guess it won't be Sasuke if he meets the one who knows everything, I still think it will be Kishimoto himself. He's the one who knows everything about the story.

Well, 617 ended with Sasuke. So, means that, probably, it will shift to him.

I've said it before but I'm torn on switching to Sasuke right now, I really want to see the resolution of the war but I'm also really curious about Sasuke's journey. As much as I'm interested in his journey I don't really like Sasuke himself but I do like Taka and Orochimaru.
As a reader I don't want to leave the war on yet another cliffhanger but I can understand why Kishi would chose to switch now, it builds suspense and if I was a writer I would probably do the exact same thing.

If he does meet the previous Hokages, then that could be really interesting, the 3rd wasn't responsible but did have a hand in the Uchiha massacre and Itachi trusted him with Sasuke, but even more interesting is him possibly meeting Minato, his rivals father.

Ummm...I'm still gonna read the chapter. If it seems as though it's gonna delve into Sasuke's story again, then I may take a break. It's not like I said I was dropping the series all together.

And I don't understand what's ridiculous about it. Some people take breaks from the series. Hell, this wouldn't be my first one either. I've already took a nice long break from Naruto last year when I got bored with what was going on. We've just recently had to deal with Sasuke fighting Kabuto, being force fed Hinata panels, and now we're POSSIBLY shifting to Sasuke before all of the rookies could even get some sort of focus in this particular battle? I don't think it's shifting but if it is, I'll be leaving Naruto alone for awhile. ^^

I'm pretty sure Kishi is done with shoving Hinata to our throats and hopefully when he goes back to Naruto we will see Sakura having her moment to shine.

We do have some interesting things to see from Sasuke's shifting XD.

1: who's the person/s that knows everything. 2: Karin's reuniting with them ( I actually can't wait to see that part ). 3: what Sasuke is going to do while he's in his hometown. 4: what's with the scroll.

You're misunderstanding it... I was speaking about the 4 former hokages (Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen and Minato), not the actual kages... ^^
