Guess what guys.
I tried to get rid of my NS preference and watched some NaruHina AMVs and moments. Naruto and Hinata would indeed make a cute couple because they both suffered as kids and Hinata is better "wife" material (meaning she would be 100% devoted and submissive to her man)
I opened my mind to NH...
But I still ship NS lol.
They just have more development and their romantic feelings were almost reciprocated.
SS is abusive. NH is one-sided. Therefore my logic-loving mind chooses NS. I can't ignore murder attempts-interaction that was barely there-or a love that lasted the entire series.

 

You know, it's not about "opening your mind" to NaruHina.

 

It's not against you, in fact, I like yours comments in general.
But I have the feeling people want us to "open our mind" to NaruHina.

It's not that we are not open-minded.

It's just that the story became OOC.
I'm sad when I read comments like yours just here, because the real problem is not to "open our mind". Our minds were so open that we believed that the girl that hated Naruto in the beginning would become his wife LOL.

 

Hinata never repulsed me. She's a kind girl. She's sweet. What I don't like is the way they're overpushing her everywhere.

My problem is not that I don't like Hinata, it's that Kishimoto seemed to write a story where the hero 'wins' the heart of the girl he loves. He made Naruto love Sakura deeply since the beginning. He loved her to the point of pain, and he's done many things for her, and Kishi made Sakura change her feelings toward Naruto.

He made parallels, a lot, parallels that was giving us EXACTLY the NaruSaku dynamic, and he made us understand that Naruto was supposed to surpass his predecessors about everything. He put a big emphasis on the possibility of NaruSaku.

It's just... I don't know it's like he told us one story, for YEARS, and then he just change it in the end.

 

That makes no kittening sense.

That's why I'm pissed.

It's because the author FOOLED us all. It's OK to fool the readers during one week or two, but not for years. It's too much. If you're doing that, then you're leading your readers. Readers get involve in stories they are reading. They get attached to heroes. So it hurts when something bad happen. The red wedding could be a good example. I hurt for real while I was reading that.

 

NaruHina could have been good, the problem is how everything is written. I could have loved NaruHina too. It's jut that Kishi wrote NaruSaku, and NaruHina wasn't even in considerations because Naruto was in love with Sakura. It's cruel, Naruto said to his father that Sakura was his girlfriend. People are saying it was a joke. Come on really ? Hinata was right there. It would be cruel from Naruto to do that. Oh excuse me at that time Naruto wasn't in love with Hinata YET. He will fall in love with her IN THE MOVIE AND PEOPLE WILL PAY TO SEE IT. They just want money.

 

So no, I won't "open my mind" sorry. This is total nonsense.

I'm not sure you could be any more accurate about this. 

There is no need for us to be "open" to NH. it we were supposed to be open to it, it would have made sense to us throughout the series, instead we and others were blatantly led to believe NS was what we were supposed to be seeing from a Literary and logical stand point.

NH was not open TO US. Its even LESS open to us at this moment because it was FORCED onto us like a 12 ton brick. I don't like things being dropped on me, and being told to accept it. Just saying.

There is no need for us to be "open" to NH. it we were supposed to be open to it, it would have made sense to us throughout the series, instead we and others were blatantly led to believe NS was what we were supposed to be seeing from a Literary and logical stand point.
