Actually, Poision, Sakura being confused over what she feels for Naruto (which is canon fact btw, it was confirmed by Kishi) helps us very much. And I don't think it's much of a surprise at all, it actually makes a lot of sense.

It's no question that Sakura's relationship with both Naruto and Sasuke are vastly different from each other. They were created and developed in different ways. When she claimed to fall in love with Sasuke, she was a 13-year old girl who was very naive and impressionable. Sakura always had feelings for him, he's always what she associates with love, and it's what she was convinced was the most powerful love she could ever feel. Sakura never thought she would love anyone else, just Sasuke. Naturally, Sasuke= Romantic love. It's what she's so accustomed to doing, she doesn't really see anything else consciously.

Her relationship with Sasuke was bulid by angst, repression of her personality, constant worry over his dark side, and of course Team 7 bond. That's the only type of love she's ever known, can you really blame her for this current confusion?

With Naruto, it's 10 kinds of different. She originally disliked him and then slowly grows to be close friends with him by the end of Part 1. Part 2 kickstarted everything for her. Sakura sees his struggles and how much he actually went through that she was ignorant about, how hard he tries to help Sasuke and how he tries to handle everything on his own, all of this causes her to feel a strong emotional attachment to him. It developed quickly, so quickly I'm sure it's what confuses her so much. But the thing about Sakura is that she doesn't think nor probably likes to think about what she feels for Naruto now, she just does what her heart tells her to do. Protect Naruto and there for him in every way possible. This is how her true feelings for him are IMO shown.

You're half right. The reason why Sakura can't understand if she loves Naruto or not is because what she feels for him is different than what she feels for Sasuke. She loves Sasuke and that's what she always thought true love is, but then unsuspectingly, Naruto begins to dull that idea. He's always been by her side and understood more than anyone else. Sakura's grown so close to him in such a short amount of time, it's already to the point where she would rather give up on Sasuke so Naruto's safety could be preserved. She wants him alive more than she wants Sasuke alive (the guy she's supposed to love). Already, she seems to subconsciously chosen Naruto over Sasuke. She just needs to realize it.

Sure, Sakura wants the same thing: she wants Naruto to open up to her more so she can be there for him better and help him from himself. That's exactly what she wanted with Sasuke too. But her image of love for Sasuke in Part 1 conflicts with the possible love she may feel for Naruto. Like I said, she's questioning what love really is. That's why she's confused over Naruto as well.

IMO, her love for Naruto is so much stronger and truer than what she ever felt for Sasuke. That can support the "Confusion is +NS". If you think the first love is true love, yet then you're proven that the love you feel for someone else is actually true love. However, you believed you loved the first person more than you would ever love anyone and can't realize it immediately that's it's a lie because you're accustomed to the first example. The fact that she's been friends with Naruto for years and never used to feel like this for him is also confusing to her, he's no longer just a friend to her. It's sometimes hard to realize you've fallen for your best friend because before, you saw them as just that. A friend. Being in love with Sasuke before doesn't help either.

So, really, Sakura falling in love with Naruto yet not realizing it, is far from far-fetched, given the cirumstances.

To be very honest, all I want is either of two things for NS moment:

1. Sakura gets into a fight with Naruto about how undeserving she is of him and that he deserves someone like Hinata.
2. We get to see a deep inner monologue about her love life.

Out of the two, I'd like the latter to happen more because her character development would stand on its own rather than being affected by any 3rd parties.

It's been like months? since I last came here.

And now that I'm drunk, I'll just say something stupid and go to sleep.
I think the reason why Sakura is confused about her feelings for Naruto is because he is like a comfortable shoe. The shoe is so comfortable, that she doesn't even realize she's wearing it, while she's walking. It's only when the shoes are gone and she's walking barefoot, she gets hurt with all the stones, glass pieces on the road and she'll realize that she can't walk anymore without those shoes.

I think in order for Sakura to realize her feelings for Naruto(if she loves him), she needs to think about him gone(=dying). NH happening, won't make Sakura notice , because he'll still be a comfortable shoe to her, no matter who he's with he'll still comfort her and protect her. So, he's not really "gone" and he's still there.

But it would be really hard for her to realize her feelings by having her think she might lose Naruto(=him dying), because she trusts him so much, have so much faith in him, that she doesn't have a doubt that he might die in battle.

However in Hinata's case, it's easy for her to realize her own feelings. She is afraid for him, thinks that she might never see him when he's in battle. Thus, pushing her to get in action when Naruto is in a hard battle. Trying to at least be there with him, cause anytime might be his last.

Just saying.

To be honest, showing jealousy of Hinata would actually lower my opinion of her. While it is normal for that to happen, I think the fact that she's still (somewhat) stuck on Sasuke makes her look petty if she ends up showing a tinge of jealousy towards Hinata.

I'd rather have a scene where her facial expression looks uneasy towards Hinata. And then when she talks to Naruto privately, she blows up.

That's an opening and it's a SS moment not a NS, sometimes it amazes me to see some NS fan using it on their set, I always wonder if they knew it's a SS and not a NS.

Sorry but how can you claim that you are completely in love with a person but confuse about about your feelings for someone you have never question yourself about? AKA Naruto.

Sakura feelings for Naruto has being shown to be stronger than her feeling for Sasuke since they were 12/13, but Sakura romantic affection for Naruto are still unknown to the readers not to Sakura, her romantic feelings for Sasuke are fact but her feelings for Naruto are still a speculation since she hasn't giving us the answer yet.

When I read Naruto I go by, Sakura loves Sasuke, but are does feelings for Sasuke real genuine love of something else and Sakura/Kishimoto has not shown the readers what her feelings for Naruto are and in case they're love, are those feelings stronger than what she ever felt for Sasuke?

I refuse to go by confuse since to be confuse about your feelings for a person while loving another one you normally start questioning your feelings for the two person while struggling to make up your mind for one of them.
Sakura has only shown to care about one of them more than the other and consciously shown romantic affection to one of them and not the other one.

In other words Sakura knows what she feels for Naruto she stated very clearly that only she knows what she feels, we just need to wait and find out.

I think that if you read ramenanmitsu post again, you will notice that he never imply what you stated in your post in fact he said that NH scene will not help Sakura to be honest about her feelings for him at all, the idea of losing Naruto is what may lead her to come to terms with her real feelings for him if she really loves him that way.

Those were great reads.
That first one was a really nice catch, I didn't notice that until now.
But that second one, man, it definitely helped put Sakura's development towards Naruto into perspective.
Seriously, with all these themes and story evidence, I can't help but feel overly confident in our pairing.

Speaking of jealousy, how would Hinata on the other hand feel if she were to witness another NaruSaku moment?
And beyond that, how do you think her development would be resolved if NaruSaku indeed becomes canon?
I mean, it would kind of be major trolling on Kishi's part if he ends up disregarding Hinata and having her fade into the background once again without at least giving her a proper resolution.

I always wondered about that gif, I've seen it a lot of times on tumblr and I never knew where it came from. It's an opening? How come I don't remember it? Can you please tell me whicn one it's from?

IMO, Sakura often does severe procrastation when it comes to "Naruto" and the "Do I love him, love him not" question. I kind of feel like she represses her confusion. The fact that most of the biggest NS moments she often does without thinking is my proof.

It doesn't make her any less aware of the nagging question "Do I love him?", she always has that in the back of her mind. Sakura just prefers to put it off except in major situations like Yamato's unfinished sentence. I'm sure she's forced herself to think over it a lot off-panel, but something about it just makes her not want to think about it. Just my interpretation of Sakura's character, I know I could be wrong.

Sadly, I have to disagree with you Don-kun. Sakura is still far from finding an answer to how she feels, no matter what she said to Naruto in her confession. Remember 540? If she loved Naruto and she was aware of it, then it would be him she would've thought about. Basically, you're indirectly arguing here that she does not love Naruto at all and she only loves Sasuke. I know that's a possibility, maybe things really are that way. But I have trouble buying that because of all the romantic hints (Tenchi Bridge, Hug, Feeding Scene, Confession sorta).

This is also why her confession was all over the place. She forced herself to act like she knew what her feelings for Naruto are because of the situation at hand. This doesn't change the fact Sakura was giving him an open pass, she at least wanted to give him a chance. However, she was not ready and not sure. IMO, the reason she got angry at Naruto was: 1). Her subconscious feelings at work again. 2). She was extremely annoyed that he was acting all superior and telling her how she felt. Sakura doesn't like this from him, he has no idea what she had been feeling for him lately. So it was more like a "What right do you have to claim my feelings" type of thing. She'd rather figure it out on her own than have Naruto breathing down her neck constantly with "You love Sasuke, you don't love me and never will". I'd be annoyed too if I was her.

And on topic, about how Sakura would react to Hinata, I think she'll feel sad about Hinata's feelings and be unusually worried about NH. She won't be jealous in the least, not over Hinata. Especially since Sakura already feels unworthy of Naruto's affections. Basically it's a screaming match about how much they don't deserve each other and then defending the other person by saying why they are superior in deserving. It's a complete never-ending loop.

And then we have Road to Ninja. Practically confirmed that NaruSaku is the 2nd Generation MinaKushi. If the spoilers are true, I honestly cannot believe anyone wouldn't think that NS= MK. Kishimoto went out of his way, more than he had to, to emphasis that. We already had the manga that hinted it, now it's told to us directly by the author.

Looks like MinaKushi doesn't equal NaruHina after all.

She lied when she said i love you to Naruto and told that she does not love Sasuke but the genuine part was this when she said the things she had on her heart.

I think she knows what is right in front of her, a guy that was always with her, loyal, a great man, a guy that makes her feel safe.
I would feel extremely awkward if NS does not happen.

So she pratically says all those truths but wasnt in love with Naruto, but it's basically this she may fall in love later with Naruto but i dont think will be because she suddenly realized that he's the man who was always by her side or something similar to thos statements above i strongly believe that Naruto will change Sakura and she will fall in love with him or i have no idea.

Pretty much what I think as well.

Funny enough, I have a feeling Minato will also help them with this. I could see Minato saying something along the lines of "That idiot son of mine is going to need lessons on reading a woman's feelings and how to woo them perfectly from me " After all, Minato is the KING of Shinobi Casanovas .

Or another option is, ShikaTema helping them. I've always considered them as the Beta Couple in the series to NS.

Judging by the definition, they definitely fit as they're very much the opposite of NS in terms of their relationship's nature.

To put it simply:

-They're blunt to each other, something NS wouldn't dare to tread into.
-They're the most well developed mentally and emotionally out of their group of friends. Something NS needs to work on.
-They're also even more relaxed around each other compared to the main couple.

I could see them being somewhat frustrated they can't get it through their heads they love each other. In fact, they're also the two people who can give them the harsh lecture they would need. Thanks to their maturity.

I remember someone saying it would be interesting if Naruto ended with Sakura narating their story to their kids. Well it would be interesting but picture the dialogue:

Sakura: And thats how your father and I got married and he became hokage, while uncle Sasuke was travelling the world.
Naruto: I remember it like it was yesterday.
Kid: ... Wow mom wow. Thats messed up.
Naruto and Sakura: Well yea but, it was worth it in the end.

Agree with this.
It would be weird since she recognized everything that Naruto did for her, why she's not in love with him?
I think it's because she still loves Sasuke but she at least said that he is the most important person for her and she accept it saying that he've done for her way more than Sasuke, Sasuke is just a crush and nothing else.
SS got downplayed on this scene but i was concerned because i thought NS died there since she said everything that would make her fall in love with Naruto and she didnt but then Sasuke tried to kill her two times and Naruto saved her SS died there.

Just my interpretation of Sakura's character, I know I could be wrong.

Sadly, I have to disagree with you Don-kun. Sakura is still far from finding an answer to how she feels, no matter what she said to Naruto in her confession. Remember 540? If she loved Naruto and she was aware of it, then it would be him she would've thought about. Basically, you're indirectly arguing here that she does not love Naruto at all and she only loves Sasuke. I know that's a possibility, maybe things really are that way. But I have trouble buying that because of all the romantic hints (Tenchi Bridge, Hug, Feeding Scene, Confession sorta).

I was forced to stop reading here since this contradicts what I said about Sakura's feelings, I never said that Sakura does not love Naruto romantically I said Sakura/Kishimoto has not shown the readers what is her real feelings towards Naruto, when it comes to Sakura thinking about love Kishi only focus on Sasuke while we all know that there is something really strong with Naruto but he choose to leave us in the air and about 540 I believe the Anime team made a joke scene by asking Sakura who she loves since she never stated up from who was the someone else, aside from that if Kishi did added Sasuke and Naruto in that panel it would be clear to the readers that NS is the end pairing, the fact that Kishi only focus on NS for development tell us a lot, it's almost like he is saying Sakura Sasuke is your weakness something you need to overcome so your development could be complete.
Hinata you have an here complex towards Naruto but the day will come when you can finally see him has equal an maybe at that time you will come to terms with the fact that you can be your own person without Naruto.
Naruto just continue being who you are life will reward you with the things you desire the most while being selfless about it.
Sasuke just like how Sakura tell you in the past revenge does not bring happiness to anyone there would be a time when you will regret ever making that decision.

In other words and in short sentence Kishi could be leading us to Sakura's confirmation of her feelings for Naruto in the future, you see I'm one who strongly believes she is already aware of her feelings for Naruto but something is blocking her way to fully embrace them, why do I feel this way? It's because her actions speak louder than her words but right now Kishi need to remove all the obstacles (NH and SS) from there way before he can go any further with Naruto and Sakura.

This is also why her confession was all over the place. She forced herself to act like she knew what her feelings for Naruto are because of the situation at hand. This doesn't change the fact Sakura was giving him an open pass, she at least wanted to give him a chance. However, she was not ready and not sure. IMO, the reason she got angry at Naruto was: 1). Her subconscious feelings at work again. 2). She was extremely annoyed that he was acting all superior and telling her how she felt. Sakura doesn't like this from him, he has no idea what she had been feeling for him lately. So it was more like a "What right do you have to claim my feelings" type of thing. She'd rather figure it out on her own than have Naruto breathing down her neck constantly with "You love Sasuke, you don't love me and never will". I'd be annoyed too if I was her.

Here you contradict your self in one part you're saying that Sakura is not ready and confuse about her own feelings, but at the same time you're saying that Sakura was angry at Naruto because he is talking about her feelings like if he knows how she really feels.
Like I mention before, Sakura is aware of her feelings for Naruto but Kishi has not shown them to us yet, maybe because he need to resolve her feelings for Sasuke and NH situation first.

And on topic, about how Sakura would react to Hinata, I think she'll feel sad about Hinata's feelings and be unusually worried about NH. She won't be jealous in the least, not over Hinata. Especially since Sakura already feels unworthy of Naruto's affections. I don't see her randomly telling Naruto he should chose Hinata instead of her, but I feel like if the subject is brought up, Sakura will blow up and finally tell him that she feels like she always screws up with him, doesn't deserve him, and never does enough for him, then throw in a "Hinata is better for you then me!" line.

Cue Naruto's complete mind kitten face and then either angry protest then firm reassurance over how wrong she is about that. Could possibly lead to Sakura realizing her feelings. I see this happening in the final arc, not the War arc. It'd definitely be a big plus for NaruSaku.

It's kind of funny. When I picture this scene, I always see this dialogue:

Sakura: "I don't deserve you, Naruto! All I ever do his hurt you or screw up somehow!"
Naruto (*shakes head*): "No, you got it completely wrong. I don't deserve you, Sakura-chan! All you ever do is nice things for me. You're always there when I need someone."
Sakura: "You of all people are telling that to me! You're joking, right? When I always hurt you because of Sasuke-kun? You're so wrong on this."
Naruto: "I broke the promise ... I promised you I would bring him back and then I failed. How could I say something and then not do it? That's why."

Basically it's a screaming match about how much they don't deserve each other and then defending the other person by saying why they are superior in deserving. It's a complete never-ending loop.

About the rest I don't know what to speculate anymore since Kishi is kind of shutting down all the ideas I envision for NS that now am just in a waiting mode to see what happens with those two.
