I like both of them, though I am basing off of them, rather than looks. I think it's mainly looks, but still, I would have chose Sakura one way or another. In before the princess shows up. It's about to be as obvious as FF character vs Link in the final for character battle.

This poll is going nowhere.

I was going to say it too, i mean databook 3 states it, but it's kinda different because on the summit she did thought about her feelings for Naruto but unfortunately she wasnt in love with him despite realizing she should be with Naruto(because of the things he did to her) and because Sasuke is trash.
But that's just it - we haven't seen Sakura think about what she feels for Naruto. At the summit, we only saw her thinking about Naruto's feelings, about what was best for the village as a whole, and then near the end her feelings for Sasuke.
At worst, Sakura's confession reveals nothing about the nature of her feelings for Naruto, and at best, it drops more hints that her feelings go beyond friendship. For example, look at the stark contrast in her expressions when she is trying to convince him that Sasuke means nothing to her, that she's just switched to him, and when she is hugging him and talking about how he's been by her side encouraging her and how he makes her feel safe - she couldn't look more fake and forced in the former, where she is smiling softly and blushing in the later. I see that as her subconscious romantic feelings for Naruto shining through with her realizing it.
Sakura lied in her confession, but not because she knows she doesn't love Naruto, imo. I think it was a lie because she didn't know what she felt for Naruto at that time, and was too busying worrying about easing Naruto's burdens and making up for the inadvertent hurt she caused him to actually stop and think about what she feels for Naruto.
I honestly don't see the reason for the stark difference in Sakura's facial expressions otherwise.
It's surprising how close the poll is. Granted her contender is nowhere near as prominent in the manga as she is (with a smaller amount of characterisation), but considering the stigma that Sakura's name has in the West, it comes as a pleasant shock to see her doing so well. From reading some of the comments one of the focal points of appraisal seems to be physical appearance. Is the poll supposed to be like a beauty contest? Either way, my vote would go towards Sakura.
It's supposed to be about physical appearance alone.
With all due respect to Shizune, who I like, but in a way, this poll can tell you the hatred on Sakura.
Well, there are users in the comments that have admitted to voting for Shizune out of spite for Sakura. I dislike it when people let their hatred for her drive their actions because it takes the fun out of these events.
The ridiculous hatred for Sakura on NF is one of the major reasons I barely go anywhere outside of the NS FC on that site. It's not surprising in the least that people are taking the excuse to bash Sakura, and vote for another person simply to ensure that Sakura won't win.

Agree.

Actually it reveals, the revelation is that she cares too much about Naruto but she failed to express those on her confession.
After the revelation that Naruto has feelings for her made her decide that it's better for her to return Naruto's feelings than keep pursuing a guy that only break her heart and is a nukenin like she described him about.
She decided to drop her feelings for Sasuke and be with Naruto, yep because she loves Naruto but it's not the love romantically speaking off, in other words she wasnt in love with him.
This whole blushing can be interpreted in so many different things, because well she was doing that in front of a lot of people so it's clearly embarasses any girl or guy.
Yep Sakura lied on her confession about loving Naruto, because she did that because she felt guilty of the pain she bought to Naruto, she wanted to fix that by giving herself to him, it was bound to fail because Naruto knew the extent of her feelings for Sasuke and she used this excuse "he's a nukenin and only break up my heart i dont care about him anymore" it sounded like her feelings for Sasuke were shallow, and Naruto knew it wasnt like that.

The competition was started a week ago and it is all about beauty. Mei vs Konan, Anko vs Ino, Fu vs Kurenai, and Tsunade vs Temari were already closed.
Tenten vs Hinata and Sakura vs Shizune is still on. As for Sakura vs Shizune, I like both of them but Sakura gets my vote. I can't stop loving her pinkish hair. I'm surprised Sakura is leading on the poll, as of now. I'm expecting that Shizune has more votes since NF has so many Sakura haters but......wow!
As for Tenten vs Hinata, Hinata is leading, as usual.

Hinata could simply just stand there, blink, or take a blow 50 ft away from naruto and get sent flying all the way from the cloud to the sand village and her fans would still scream "Oh wooooow thats true love!"
Joking aside, are we getting an early or normal chapter this week?

Some ss fans found what they claim to be the proof of naruto and sasukes precious memoires in a chapter and they claim its real and now they are fangirling over the moon.heres the link http://narutobase.ne...ga/Naruto/232/9. As u can see theres a tiny little picture of hinata on narutos side, then some tiny pics on sasukes side with sakura and some ss moments.what do u think about this?
I I also heard some SS/NH fan saying that. But should we really take that desperated attempt seriously?
-the little Hinata picture: you don't have to look closely to see there is also Shikamaru or Choij or Neji, it's just his friends among the rookies, nothing particular. Plus you have to wear glasses to see her. I barely saw her
- Oh and I don't think there are Naruto side and Sasuke side: Iruka is on the supposed Sasuke side
-The SS pictures: It's more about the bonds that Sasuke is breaking, so there oare as much picture about him and Naruto as him with Sakura. It's about the bonds Sasuke is breaking compared to the bonds Naruto is creating. And if you look furthermore, there are some small NS moments too even if they are not in the same picture like when Naruto thinks that after his training with Jiraya (just before he learned the Rasengan), Sakura will fall in love with him. Oh! And there is the panel where Ino jumped on Sasuke... SasuIno canon!
Really... There si no special placement in those picture. It's just a recap of Naruto Part 1 in a doucle page.

I bet all those picture were chosen randomly. I wouldn't be surprised if Kishi simply gave his assistants copies of all the volumes released until then and just told them to quickly choose anything that caught their attention so that he could mix it up in one big panel.
Sometimes the simplest answer is the right one. It reminds me of another post in here that talked about SS analysing that recent cover page of Team 7 with a kid picture of each behind them. Apparently because Sakura's picture is of her being glad Sasuke came in time to fight Gaara it means SS is meant to happen. They seriously made essays explaining that.
What most probably happened is that Kishi was going through some pages of the story to find any picture of a young Sakura looking happy and cute, and the one chosen is the first he ran into.

That's the main problem with NH/SS fan (especially SS):
They are always overanalyzing everything until it fits their convenience. Every time their pairing is reunited, they twist the moment, so they can create a new "hint" for their pairing.
The most recent and ridiculous case, is in chapter 631, when Sasuke arrived, he says "Sakura..." while seeing her. To them, it's a hint because everytime they are reunited, Sasuke says "Sakura..." when he sees her.
And I also remember there was a theory about a cover of Sasuke holding an apple, they said it was a hint because Sakura was cutting him an apple in part 1 in the hospital.
As for NH, even if it's less extreme, they are often doing it with characters placements. Like the chapter cover of Naruto in Chakra Mode, surrounded by the rookies in war outfits.... Hinata was nearer than Sakura, so.... Canon!

That moment was like a way of saying "Part 1 adventure," only for us to enter part 2 after this battle is done. Funny how the anime version was more direct as in only focusing Naruto and Sasuke's adventure with each other. So yeah, in this point, it never matter.

this is off topic. But I hate how in the anime they make Naruto leave the -Chan suffix off Sakura-Chan's name.
What are you talking about? He always calls her Sakura-chan.
And if you're talking about the dubbed version, it's normal, as you said -chan is a suffix wich can't really be translated. It's like "my little...", if they had to translate all the suffix, it would be weird, look at Hinata for example, she's polite, so she calls everyone by using san and kun wich is normally translated by "mister" or "miss" even if it's not always what that means. You see, it's hard to translate suffix names.

I know he always calls her Sakura-Chan in the MANGA. But I just understand why they can't mske him call her thst in the dubbed version of the anime. Its the same as saying Jackie Chan . I don't think the suffixes need to be translated for him to say it brcause Chan is not a hard word to pronounce . But thats what i think . He could just say Sakura-Chan. You feel me ?What are you talking about? He always calls her Sakura-chan.

Sorry, but I really don't get your point. I never ever saw a dubbed anime adding the suffix. Like I said, if they had to add -chan to Sakura, so they would also add -san, -kun, baachan and so on and on to others characters. It would speak to manga fans and japanese culture in general, but not to little kids, they would find it weird.
Jackie Chan is not japanese, it's Chinese and in this case, -chan is not a suffix, it's a name.
