Ever since I found out the main character was in love with Sakura I could never get into NH. SS I could shove aside because it was the typical abusive bad boy crap but Sakura was not a bad girl for Naruto.
She was a brat to him in the beginning but she grew to support him and his dream and even began to fall in love with him in Shippuden. She had the same traits his mother did and could handle his explosive personality. She was smarter than him but he was stronger than her. They would've went great together.
Such wasted potential...

I don't care what the reason was, you DON'T do a fake confession. You just don't, especially in front of a freaking crowd. A NORMAL person would ask Naruto to have a private talk with him and discuss the issue (but I guess Naruto and Sakura acting like normal people was too boring for Kishimoto. Instead, he thought a fake confession and hyperventilation right after, effectively making both characters look pathetic, would spice things up).

The problem and the contreversy about that confession is that is was part true. Not totally fake. Both character were hurt because he did want to keep^the drama, but he did say that when she say she's love Naruto, it was true., The problem was that she was still loving Sasuke too. That kind of drama can be forgiven when it resolve well ( a confession from Naruto part would have shed the light about it) Check the anime, or the card from Naruto TCG called Sakura's confession. She did blush and she was kind of embarrassed. And she did seem pissed when Naruto reject her. The confession wasn't a bad idea. It shows that the girl now did love the 2 boys and ultimately, she had to choose the right one.

 

The resolution in the end is what make it all wrong. When you show her having feeling, either repress or shown, make her choose the one that care. Because what was the point of it otherwise. It was like a double-edge sword. The hero is one step closer to get the girl, he had her on the rope, all he need to do is keep trying and he will succeed. All the time that Naruto saves Sakura during the war and Sasuke threat her like crap during the war. The way they show her thinking about her feeling for both boys, it was simple and obvious how to resolve it seriously. Now I don't talk as a shipper, but as a reader who read a freaking story. It happen in drama all the time, but never the rival is such an kitten like Sasuke and if he is, he never and I mean NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVER got the girl. He get his ass kicked or the girl move on after telling him how an ass he has been.

 

What I'm trying to say is that the confession wasn't a bad idea. The follow up show how the character progress afterward. The problem was the ending and the resolution.

Lol at people saying Naruto being with Hinata is good because Sakura will just yell at him. Hinata's character is a total pushover who's obsessed with Naruto. If Naruto wanted to do something or gets out of line, you really think Hinata will  be able to keep him in check? She'll just be "o..o..o..okay Naruto-kun." And it looks like the ending is exactly that. Naruto doing whatever the hell he wants and Hinata just letting him. Naruto eating unhealthy for days and most likely drinking too because of bottle of whiskey.. not spending enough time with his own kids. Where the hell is Hinata in this equation to keep him in check? Oh right, probably just twiddling her fingers at home. Sakura is a much better match for Naruto.

We also have friends who are adult boys around 25 above of age and they preferrably Naruto with Sakura. They are non-shippers but they said the ending chapter was terribly wrong.
We also have friends below 21 of age and most of them are NaruHina/Sasusaku fans.
 
I also read comments and blog from Japan that they prefer Naruto with Hinata because they don't want to see Sakura yelling the Hokage. And some they like Naruto with Sakura and they were disappointed too.
 
I just wished Himawari and Sarada were kids from the Infinite Tsukuyomi who failed to go back to that dream world. Just like AU from RTN. I didn't see bolt with his mother in Manga. He just said "Moooom, I'm hoooommme... Tell auntie Ino that my stomach is hurting.". of all people why Ino? And Himawari saying.. "Next time, we can come together with big brother". Aren't they close? Well, that is just my theory. That's why half of myself wants me to watch the movie to find out everything and half of it says no... but it's better to wait for the fan summaries of the movie. Although I had a feeling that movie is gonna break Narusaku fans' heart. Seeing the trailer is bad so the movie might be worst. I'm gonna miss Naruto and Sakura's interaction. RTN will be my most fave Naruto the movie and the most logic Naruto movie of all including Naruto OVA UT.

I think i have to look back at that chapter but from what i remember it was shikamaru's son who said that line "tell aunt ino i have stomachache" etc.

Anyway judging from what you said.. i think most men age 25 above prefers Sakura of course not all of them.. those few people i know personally who likes ns (they dont ship it but they like her better with nardo) are also male age 25 above.

Im female but when i was still in my teen years 16-18 i ship ss nh.. but made a huge swerve to ns afterwards..

The rest which are neutral to pairings doent have anything good or bad to say on the epilogue just pure nostalgia kicking in.

While some who used to be naruto fans but no longer watch or read it were a bit confuse about the ending and the movie stuff but doesnt have enough feelings for it to make them disappointed

If i may ask..Where are you from? Im from the Philippines and they will air it here too... id rather watch a standard filler-esque movie than this. Oh kishi whyy i couldnt even get excited even if i am a naruto fan for like more than 10years.

Which can also seen as a foreshadowing that she has no chance realistically with Naruto, even with the drive to want to protect him since Neji asked her to do so.

Hinata doesn't have the heart to say no to her idol and some guys would dig that.
But Naruto doesn't seem like the type to like submissive women; he seems to like action girls and tsunderes..someone to keep him guessing which which is definitely Sakura.
She can be feminine and let him handle big-strong-man kitten when she wants to but overall Sakura likes to be Naruto's equal.

Sasuke's face became much more sharped. 

He usually wears a coat to cover his lack of left arm. 

 

 

Kakashi became the 6th Hokage. 

Kakashi's first itroduction as Hokage in the movie! We can feel his majesty/solemnity/dignity.

I don't think so. I can't actually stomach watching how Nardo and Hinata got together. I'll just read the reviews if ever. 

Most of my friends are neutral on the pairing stuff. Pairing aside, it was kinda a meh, ordinary kind of ending.

Same here. I'm from Philippines too.    I can't actually stand some Naruto movie franchise since I focus mainly on the manga. I just watched the Road to Ninja since it has a one shot manga tie-up.

Kakashi looks covered up as kitten, with his Hokage garbs on, though.

 

Can somebody post the pic of leaked Sasuke( that came with all those random children and monsters.), so I can compare it to his official sketch release? I wanna see if it's different, in hopes that Sakura actually has her sweater and not some plain long sleeve shirt.
