Depends on if those leaked movie pictures are legit or not. There was a leaked picture of a full body Hanabi too but her clothes are different than in Kishi's released sketches.
Guess we'll have to wait. Even though I won't be watching it

I may've already said this, but the only way I can see with this whole movie and NH romance going around is if Naruto chooses Hinata over pity. Let's just say he does this because Sakura is with someone else, but deem down inside him "He still feels the same about Sakura." Any remember Obito, how his love Rin carried over until the day he died. Let's not forget Obito and Naruto are parallel to one another, so whose to say this can't happen. Then comes a point and time when Hinata wants kids, and Naruto is like "Fine I'll her have kids." and then carry over to do his own things. also keep in mind that in Chapter 700 Iruka told Konohamaru that Bolt is always trying to get his dad's attention, but he's always busy being Hokage. I want to believe that Naruto's doing this on purpose because he's depressed at the fact he couldn't get Sakura, the girl of his dream, and that's why he distances himself from his family because that's not what he wanted in the beginning. It was all a backup, a shortcut on Naruto's part, and let's not forget Naruto doesn't take shortcuts.
Take it for granted that this all speculation, but it's the only logical route this movie could take (even though logic was thrown out the window in 699 and 700). It would show Naruto's characterization is in tact (somewhat), not sure about what Sakura could do fix whatever messed up her perfect development before you know... I think the closest thing is that Sakura could be being there for Naruto, she does still truly care about him, but has a conflict when it comes to Sasuke, who obviously is still away from the village. This could very well also play into Part 3 when it comes out next spring. I'm not trying to give you guys hope in order to see the movie, I'm just sharing my opinion that's all.

and a dad who thinks I should be able to hold up like....200 pounds of a full antique dresser.

Those pics are definitely legit, there were pics of Bolt and Himawari among them, and that was before the chapter was even spoiled (by someone other than Evil, that is).

I'd love to see their relationship being explored in Part 3 in the way you've described. No one can tell me that everything will be ok b/w the two of them after everything that had happened. They might be each other's best friends, but we might get to see some tension from time to time.
However, considering that Part 3 is simply a MiniSeries, how much would Kishi dare to expand on the characters from the original series? Isn't it supposed to be about the new generation?

What's going to be worse is if the movies starts with an SS wedding or romance, and then the rest of the movie is Naruto licking his wounds, getting over his 'crush' then finding his 'true love' with Hinata.
If it goes down that way, and I'm really afraid it's going to, then the whole movie is going to be one long put-down of Sakura, the ultimate backhanded insult. Yes, Sakura will finally get her Sasuke, but she will be the one who broke Naruto's heart while Hinata is the one who repairs it. So even though on the surface it looks like she has finally achieved her goal, she really be a negative or secondary character by driving the main character into the arms of another truer love.
The manga chapters were bad enough — she's regressed in her development to accept Sasuke, and she's shown as a housewife which was not one of her goals — but the movie could slide Sakura back yet another notch by making her Naruto's only heartbreak.
I'm not expecting the worst.... But I think at this point I'm don't expect them to do right by Sakura. I think in twisting Hinata into some kind of main heroine, their going to force Sakura to be a plot device for the NH romance.
Can I hate a movie that hasn't already come out? Cause I really think I do.
Tricksie, I know how you feel, right? It just seems to suck that Sakura is getting pissed on just to validate an ass-pull like NH seems to be if The Last is gonna do that. So I am glad in the long run that I think Naruto ended at 698 and I have worked out ideas to how it ended beyond that on my own without having to do stupid stuff to please the fans.
