At first, I disliked her. She was selfish, annoying, and really immature, but we can't blame her, she didn't live what Sasuke and Naruto lived, she couldn't understand, and ...she was only 12y.o. ... but I still disliked her (especially when she couldn't do anything during missions) . 
Then, little by little, she showed more concern towards Naruto, but her love for Sasuke was really annoying. After Naruto failed to bring Sasuke back, I started to like her: she wanted to make more efforts in order to help him bring Sasuke back, she started to train seriously with Tsunade. (even though I started to ship NS before, because I wanted her to love Naruto who wasn't a scumbag back then) 
She started to mature more and more, and became more compassionate, stronger...she became a role model for me, and my favorite character. And the Shippuden part made me love her even more ! 
 
Aaahh don't talk about parallel universes, it's gonna make me cry...     kitten.  

Its okay Ichigo. Just let go of this stupidity. The more time you remain attached to it...the more it kills you little by little. Just let go of it and laugh it off. NH and SS got something which ruined the entire story and it made the rating drop whatsoever. So....

And besides....we get nothing clinging onto it. Good memories? No? Something to laugh on? Depends. Something worth laughing? 'f course! The real NS still remains with us. And no amount of BS can replace that and you know it

So I was talking with a buddy of mine who I haven't seen in years and told him how Naruto ended, and he told me "Seriously that's pretty kitten, Yugioh as a whole had an amazing story with it's end."

 

 

I for one have to agree even if it's just the world coming to an end from a villian that has to beaten in a cardgame, that series has a far better story to tell as whole then what Naruto could ever do in retrospect and it's sad because at one point I thought Naruto was better than yugioh.

You are right ! Thank you    But even though I laugh about all this, I still feel kinda hurt, and betrayed by Kishi. I wouldn't be the person I am without Naruto (...and other things ofc )I learned tons of things....(I'm sure that's the case of a lot of people here) So, when you know that all the things you were taught (from 11yo to 21 yo)were just some kind of "lies", it just... hurts.   For a lot of people this may sounds stupid, because it's just a 'manga', but it isn't...wasn't. 

Anyway, it may take some time, but I'm definitely gonna be okay !

Hah! I guess we are sailing in the same boat XD I definitely wouldn't be the guy I am today without Naruto and other things. I held Naruto in high regards then! Believe me I had my dark hours and this was when Naruto inspired me and was one of the key factors to get me outta the things I was in. But with the ending and all....like you...I felt it was all a lie and my inspiration blown to bits. It wasn't just a manga for me too amd I guess that holds true for MANY users in here. But come to think of it....would the real Naruto and Sakura behave the way they did? We get the answer as no, right? So why not say that they wanted to remain true but they forced to betray? Its not like Naruto was real bad. The real Naruto definitely not! So it wasn't a lie afterall...just that...they were forced to betray...

Slow start for slow people caused them to hate quickly. Case in point, Sakura. When you think about it, Sakura could have gone with Naruto but she was abandoned by Kishi, so give Naruto the best one. Enter Hinata.

You know since we're on the topic of Sakura, here is interesting question I came up with.  What did guys first think of Sakura initially and at what point did you guys start liking her character?  I know 699 (or 693)- forward doesn't do her character justice, so let's just discuss the positive she had as opposed to the negatives. 

 

 

I'll be honest in the beginning of the series I did find her annoying because she she was a fangirl of Sasuke, but once the chunin exams hit I saw something different her. When the written exams came in I was like okay there's a small shift happening this is great, and once the Forest of death came in my viewpoint on her actually changed. She wasn't just there for oh Sasuke, she was starting to develop as a character slowly and she started opening up to Naruto who she initially found annoying and I loved that about her. I'm actually quite okay with her confession to Sasuke in Part 1 as she was just a 12 year old girl and more importantly because I knew that was going to be the stepping point for her character. Once Part 2 roles around my first thought to her was wow this girl's changed she's a bit hot tempered with monster strength and I found it hilarious in a good way. You can tell she was starting to open up more to Naruto as it kept progressing and she became probably my favorite female character in the series.  That's the Sakura i'm probably going to always remember, you know maybe in some other timeline/universe Sakura did fully develop as a character and moved on from what she was in the beginning and has a happy family with Naruto and Shinachiku.

Well the destiny plot point was already forgotten and destroyed, so this idea kind of makes no sense

 

In part 1, we had it's introduction with Neji, a fatalist guy who deeply believed everyone had a destiny and that they were bound to it, then comes Naruto and he punches this idea out of Neji's head, saying that the only one who controls his fate is himself and that this destiny excuse is BS, this cleanses Neji of his fatalist views and he becames a better person

 

Then comes part 2 and what we get? The great toad sage whose prediction is always right saying Naruto was destined to be some kind of prophecy child, that he was destined to fight a guy with powerful eyes, and etc etc. To add insult to the injury we also get the revelation that Naruto was somehow the reincarnation of a powerful demi god from back then,so really, everything in his story was scripted.All these revelations make part 1 Naruto ideas look like a bad joke.

We also got the fact that Neji, bound by his destiny, ended up sacrificing himself to save a person from the main branch, just for the fact that kishimoto wanted something to bring Naruto and Hinata closer.

 

Then comes the Last in which is revealed poor Hinata is naturally, someone who is destined to wield mystical powers from Hamura, that she is somehow the byakugan princess, that kid who was deemed useless by everyone in the clan at the beginning didn't fought hard to overcome the odds and earn respect, no. She just had this destined power handed to her because she was somehow important

 

All the while we had characters who defied their natural problems like Rock Lee, forgotten.

 

 

So yeah, no worries about what you are thinking. The destiny plot point was completely and utterly destroyed by kishimoto and his editors

 

Im curious whats your opinion on this old opinion of hinatas confession in the pain arc. Its a bit sad that people saw this episode but didn't know or care that it upplayed hinatas moment. what can you do kishi gave her a major moment the animation studio saw that and took the idea and run with it.

-other fans deem it an unhealthy obsession, although this is highly debatable, it is not a fact.



This was the first time Naruto experienced and realized that a girl loves him from the bottom of her heat.

And just a few seconds later she got smashed on the ground and pierced by a metal rod...

Naruto already knew that Kakashi, Jiraya and Fukasaku fell pray to Pain and now something like that right in front of his very eyes.

I can't forgive Pain for what he has done to Hinata.

For once, an episode of Naruto Shippuuden surprised me.



Being an avid follower of the manga for many years, I pretty much know what's going to happen even before the anime comes out.



However, this time I was wrong. Very wrong in fact. I found myself intrigued and fascinated by what I was seeing. I learnt something new about the characters I know and love.



I swear that a different artist was responsible for the animation. Everything looked different. It had a different feel to it. Very different from the previous ones. As Naruto gasped in horror as Hinata was tossed around, his facial expressions were unlike anything I'd seen before. We saw his emotions. What he was feeling. How powerless he felt. Helpless.



The flashbacks were, for once, relevant and gave an insight into their character and where they had come from. What they both had had to overcome. Naruto, the outcast, hated and loathed by everyone. Hinata, the failure, unable to live up to the name of Hyuuga. The sentiment was evident. It was moving, believable and heart rendering.



With the silence Hinata fell, her confession enough to release the hatred within Naruto.

Lol, the pink hair is what first attracted me to her. She was my favorite since the beginning, since I liked her attitude and feistiness. I was never really annoyed by her personality, but I could see why people didn't particularly care for her. I loved the fact that she was intelligent as kitten too. She didn't have to use any special techniques during the first part of the Chunin exams, just her brains. That made her even cooler to me. And then, when she cut her hair during the fight with the Sound Ninja, instant badass for me. Her fight with Ino just confirmed the fact that she was definitely moving forward, and I was so proud of her.

When part 2 came around, I was freaking shocked. Not only could Sakura destroy a whole battlefield with a single punch, she was able to heal the worst of injuries/conditions, but she was also capable of beating the kitten out of an Akatsuki member. Even though her development went to the gutters in the end, I still love her. She'll always be my Queen, no matter what happens
