Another NaruHina fan argument I am compelled to crush lol. I always love reading NH arguments, they're full of so many double standards.

My counter debates to NH fans are usually long lol. Apologies!

Hinata is loyal and caring. Guess who else is loyal and caring? Shikarmaru, Choji, Neji, Kakashi, Sakura, Tsunade, Lee, Hashirama, and many others. Honestly, what Hinata has in common with Naruto is basic traits that most of Konoha 11/basic shinobi display as well. So, really, it doesn't make a major similiarity when many others share the same thing. It doesn't count. Naruto has acknowledged many people's strengths as well. Sasuke, Kakashi, Raikage(s), Itachi, Gaara, Shikamaru, Lee, Neji, and so many more others. Is Hinata still special? Nope. You know who else is determined and brave? Shikamaru, Itachi, Chiyo, Sarutobi, Sasuke, Sakura, Gaara, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Minato, Kushina, Temari, Ino. Is Hinata still special? Nope. I'll even argue Hinata isn't very determined either. Her resolve isn't as strong as a lot of these characters, she has to draw strength from Naruto. She wants to change and she is little by little, but her determination is largely weak. The exception is 615, but it's not on a regular basis. "Steadfast?" Not really. Hinata is only steadfast in her love and support, not belief or faith. Often times, she lacks faith in his abilities, such as when she guessed he would lose against Pain immediately (without checking with the Byakugan), his earlier fight against Kiba in Part 1, and when he got hit by Obito
once. "Eyes scene" doesn't mean much either on Naruto's side, which is all that really matters. Yes, she did fix his dislocated shoulder. Just like any ninja would, actually. She was closer so might as well be her. And Sakura's healed Naruto's wounds countless times but apparently this means nothing because she's not Hinata, right?

Yeah, Hinata
and Kurama. Naruto wasn't fully convinced until Kurama enforced it. Why does everyone forget this? She inspired him
with help. You know who else are a figure of support, comradeship, and kindness?
The entire Shinobi Alliance.
As I pointed out in detail, Naruto is not obligated to love her at all because of these qualities, many other people have those exact same traits and you don't see him falling in love with all of them. Basically, while it's true he likes Hinata as a person, this person is making it sound like he'll accept her out of pity. Way to turn your argument against yourself, y'know. I smell a double standard coming on, which I love to point out: "
Sakura likes many qualities that Naruto has as well, so it's pretty clear she has many reasons to accept his love for her instead of reject it." Right, positive. It's not like Hinata's confession threw him into the depths of fury and despair after sacrificing herself, right?

NaruHina= Positive interaction or empty interaction. Either way, it bores me and remains to be unrealistic. NaruSaku= Mostly positive, but takes angsty turns. A nice balance and a lot more real/interesting. It can't be
all positive, it's unnatural. There has to be drama which NH (Except 437) usually lacks.
Unclear? In what way are Naruto's feelings unclear? They are not at all and it's wishful thinking to think differently. They have
never been unclear, the only girl he's liked/loved this whole series is Sakura. 469-470, based on his reaction (happy shocked, blushing, disappointed face, then serious anger), it heavily implied Naruto still loves Sakura at that time. That was a few weeks at most. If you think Naruto moves on that easily, then you don't know who he is. Look at Sasuke for further proof. And what about NaruSaku? It's growth and depth has been growing little by little as early as Ch. 3. For Sakura, it's been straight positive with Naruto. She went from finding him a nuisance to feeling like she's not even worthy of his love. And for Naruto, even though her love for Sasuke pains him, he doesn't want to let go of his feelings and has many other happy times to outweigh his angst. Sure, they've had a few dramatic speed bumps, but it at least it keeps us interested. Um ... "deep"?

Am I missing something here? In order for NH to have a deep relationship, they'd have to know and understand each other well. Hinata lacks both of this and Naruto barely interacts with her either. Of course he likes her, but this person acts like NH is a much bigger deal then what it actually is. NaruSaku has the understanding and awareness of each other, what struggles they go through and how they feel. So, in retrospect, NaruSaku remains to be the far more deeper and developed relationship.
Naruto saved many people from Zetsus, even Sakura in the same chapter. Yeah, pep talking someone who is down is a friend thing to do. Friend. His intention was entirely a platonic one, he just was being the nice guy that he is and thanking her for the Pain Arc, assuring her that she was strong. I don't know about this person, but if I was a NH fan, I wouldn't be satisifed with only pep talks being the basis of their interactions.

Naruto wasn't necessarily looking at her eyes directly. It was a sideways glance and he could tell from her face she was upset, the "eyes" thing isn't exactly literal, you know. If that line was trying to imply romantic feelings and it was true, Naruto would either get embarrassed or rude. Neither he did, so it actually is against a romantic nature based on his character. Even if Kiba meant romance, he still barely reacted. Naruto likes to look tough in front of everyone, he prefers to hide weakness. So really, not much going for the pair. Just Kiba being Kiba and Naruto being Naruto. Must I ask why every NH fan I come across never says "He held her hand to give her chakra" and instead says the biased one "He held her hand?"

It's not a romantic moment, it was already debunked when he gave chakra to everyone else via hand, Kurama explained why it took longer with Hinata, and Naruto focused back on fighting immediately without so much as a glance to Hinata. So it was Kishi trolling IMO, Naruto's affections are still consistent and directed at Sakura most likely. Naruto's not purposely staying by her side literally, he doesn't really care. He's just focusing on the battle, if he's away from Hinata, big whoop. It's not like he'll think "Oh no! I'm not next to Hinata!", if he notices he'll be fine with it. Hinata's next to him because she's up his ass lol.
Actually, it implies the opposite. 616 trolled 615 (which could've been a romantic moment yet was a missed opportunity) and indicated heavily it was purely platonic. The "in your eyes" scene did too, actually, since he left out the confession and just mentioned the rescue. Naruto's feeling likely have not changed, it breaks his character after so long. Kage Summit, a few weeks earlier, was still all about Sakura. If he was feeling conflicted or genuinely felt romantic feelings for Hinata, she would have popped up randomly during the confession. The fact that she didn't is telling.
... What? Naruto is going to accept Hinata because she loves him? Huh? That reason is just so poor. If someone loves you and you already fell in love with someone else before knowing this, then you're not obligated to love that person. Even Naruto, with his lonely childhood, is not excused from this. You love who you love, it can't be helped. That's what I think he's struggling with right now. Naruto knows he loves Sakura, he's not doubting his affections, he just feels bad for Hinata and doesn't want to hurt her. It's his Nice Guy Complex. By that reasoning, Sakura would love Naruto because he loves her. Certainly, there's more development and hints to back it up but that doesn't mean she
has to return his feelings. If she loves Sasuke, she loves Sasuke. If Naruto loves Sakura, he loves Sakura. It's true, Naruto has always wanted genuine/unconditional love from others but just because Hinata's willing to offer herself does not mean it will make him truly happy or he actually desires it ... from
her. Key word there. Naruto wants that, but he has a specific person in mind. And that of course is Sakura, the girl he's grown to be romantically attached to. He wants her happiness more than himself being happy, but he still hopes and wants to be with her.
This is one of the many reasons he rejected her confession as well. Besides the obvious (just plain lying, giving up on Sasuke, trying to push
him to give up on Sasuke), he got angry because he does not want a Sakura that doesn't have the same feelings that he has for her. Naruto cares about how Sakura feels for him, if she was doing this and didn't really love him, it wasn't his perfect picture or something he'd truly be happy with. Naruto wants Sakura to love him, but the only way he'd accept her in a relationship is if he believed she truly did feel the same. Basically, Naruto would feel like he's more deep into it then she is and that would only hurt him.
As for the sacrificing her life argument, it's stupid because many people are risking their lives for him and have before in the past. Just because they "save his life" does not mean he's falling in love with them all.
Sakura likes many things about Naruto and has become as close to inseperable to him as you can get. Does this means she has to love him? No. The same works for Naruto with Hinata. You don't chose who you love, it just happens. Also, as I've said before, the NaruHina relationship isn't really that deep. He barely interacted with her throughout countless chapters and when he did, it was always a wide gap from until we see her again. Hinata's definitely one of his closer friends outside of T7 but it's hardly too meaningful. I'd say he's closer to Shikamaru then he is to Hinata. It's mostly pep talks and then Hinata admiring him without really knowing who he is. Doesn't sound like deep to me. Naruto's feelings for her have been growing, but not enough to get her out of the friendzone. Unfortunately for her, he has a one-track mind that's hard to veer off in another direction. So that's why the minute Naruto realized he fell in love with Sakura (whenever that was, I still have no idea), Hinata's chances almost evaporated. If she met him first and interacted with him more, maybe she wouldn't be in the friendzone.
Naruto's reasons for rejecting her feelings would be because he fell in love with someone else and because of that, cannot accept her love. 'Cause he seems like the type of guy who believes in "equal love" relationships for both himself, Sakura, and Hinata. It's just the way he is.
Can I please ask why I never come across a NaruHina fan argument that
doesn't use double standards in them? No wonder I can respond to NH arguments so easily, most of them make it too easy with all the selective reading and double standards.

Do they even realize this at all?
