The publicity shows her at Team 7 side. Is just that she is "THAT" relevant... That's why everyone is saying she's now part of Team 7, not literally.

So, because the movie's tagline is "first love" and there was that tweet where it says that Naruto had a faint love for Sakura, he was never truly in love with Sakura and only had a crush on her. If this is truly the case then it's just a huge retcon.

Ugh...I hate going on Sakura groups on deviantArt and seeing "The Last" fanart everywhere. How can any REAL Sakura fan accept this kitten?!
NH has definitely made it into my top most hated pairings.
Still can't believe the sh*tty ending...Sasuke turns good in one chapter after blowing off Naruto's arm and trying to kill Sakura and goes back happily to the village..and two years later the whole gang are having a SasuSaku/NaruHina romance.
This is the unrealistic fanfiction ending I've been arguing AGAINST for years that it wouldn't happen...that Sasuke would likely become a tragic character who couldn't be saved and Naruto and Sakura would eventually become a couple.
Guess Kishimoto really is a sell-out...damn movie and ending is like a unicorn sh*tting rainbows. Happy endings and asspulls to the max. It destroys quality and the realism in his story.
Still can't believe he actually made the fanfiction canon... >.>

It was already my most hated ship to be honest. Mostly because of it's fanbase, and it's been like that since 2006-7? Idk but I remember when I first started lurking around back then I disliked Hinata then and I dislike her now. 

 

I don't know, it's like, not only is The Last actually happening but the NS fandom is constantly getting sh*tted on by the people associated with it too! It's like putting salt inside of our wounds. And we all know that NS was most likely, so why did everybody change their minds in the course of 2 years? Is money that powerful to take control of your own creativity??

“I was unable to do well in school and felt a strong sense of inferiority,” he said. “When Naruto said, 'I will be Hokage,' people surrounding him laughed at his dream. Since childhood, I also told others that I would be a manga artist but had no foundation."

Reflecting on his series' journey, Kishimoto thinks he broke new ground with the story's approach to conflict. The series' protagonist did not always resort to brute force to defeat his enemies.

"Boys' comics inevitably feature violent scenes. But I wanted to tell (readers) that enemies who resort to violence probably do so because of unavoidable reasons,” Kishimoto said. “And if (the protagonists) defeat them without understanding their motivation, it could end up leading to a repeat of the same thing.”

tbh I'd probably even go as far as saying that i would probably get a better storyline and enjoyment off the Pokemon XY Movie that's coming  out then what The Last has to offer.

When I first got into Naruto and was watching NaruSaku amvs (SS was unfortunately my first Naruto ship back then but I also liked NS) the one thing I could remember was people in the comments going "NaruHina's beter!! Screw naroosucku" "what about Hinata" and "NARUHINA FTW!!"
All I remember thinking was "Who the hell is Hinata?" If I haven't heard about her or seen her by now she certainly must not have been important...
My first introduction to the NH fandom and never liked them since.

I usually don't appreciate Anime movies which are just some negligible extension to the original series. Same with Naruto the Last. They think that introducing Toneki, a relative of Kaguya, and climaxing the story with some supernatural BS catastrophe justifies this movie to be cannon. Words cannot describe how stupid this is.

The only anime movies I've truly appreciated and loved so far were Studio Ghibli's movies. But then again, its movies are on a whole other level.
