I'm pretty sure that they don't have to, Kishimoto has nothing to do with the anime aside from the fact tha Naruto rights belongs to him. The anime team can do whatever they want in the fillers (that's why Naruto has a lot of hell fillers).
But it doesn't disqualify the episode 235, because here the anime team just played with a obvious parallel (JiraTsu/NaruSaku) and with the "selfless love" that Jiraiya, Naruto and that filler guy have for the girls.
Remenber that JiraTsu/NaruSaku paralle and the "selfless love" theme has already been played in the manga so the anime team didn't created or assumed nothing .. these things were already canon.

Skauras reasons were completely open and honest and mark how Naruto has grown on her to the date. How he ahs chnaged her for the better and made her a better person.

It is. We are waiting for the flashback to end to see if he still deciding to do evil or become good. I still believe he will still be evil. Not to say he will go crazy, but he will go against Naruto's way of peace, which is everyone's ideas. Don't forget, he won't destroy Konoha until he kills Naruto.
He won't be neither evil or good.
I think Orochimaru's answer will have a big impact in his decisions :

I still think he will be bad in the eyes of the world. We, the readers, will think he's not really bad, but since he's most likely go for something that not everyone will approve, he will be "bad".

But this doesn't mean that he'll be evil, like he was against Danzou, Karin and the Gokage.

Oh no, I know that. That's why I said he won't be like crazy or anything. He'll be more calm and collective as he tries to achieve his goals.

@Sojobo
There are a lot of panels missing on your post.
First the part that Sasuke says his hatred for the village only increased on two parts on the reunion with the kages and on the meeting with Orochimaru.
Second he is evil and bad, just because revenge on the leaf is not his top priority does not mean he's neutral.
Remember that destroying the village is also one of his objectives but first he has to destroy Naruto's beliefs it's kinda obvious that Sasuke does not approve the whole "Will of Fire", he also does not approve itachi's ideals.
Sasuke is not like Naruto who tries to convince his enemies, Sasuke kills them.

You make a good point. That said what do you think Sasuke will get out of the Hokage's talk?

what i've said main objective destroy the will of fire, ending up on a disagree with Naruto making it harder for him to redeem Sasuke since he now knows a lot of thing to back up his claims.

Funny, I actually didn't think of that. That does sound like the direction we may be heading. I mean the first part sure didn't taint Uchiha as innocent. While they are in war, Senjou sure had it hard when Uchiha killed their brother.

It doesn't help that it happened after the confession, which they implied that Naruto and Sakura are over with each other. Doesn't seem like anime and games got that impression. Oh well, right.

To be honest though, the question could almost be reverted; why would Naruto reject Hinata? First, let’s just consider what qualities Hinata has in her that Naruto likes and acknowledges. She’s loyal and caring, traits that Naruto has in common with her, and Naruto has acknowledged her strength on more than one occasion (such as when she fought against Neji in the Chuunin Exam Preniminaries) so he definitely thinks that she’s strong too. She’s both determined and brave - the fact that she’s taken on Naruto’s own nindo, which is hugely significant, is evidence of this, as it also proves she is steadfast in her belief in him. She’s able to read him extemely well, with Kishimoto demonstrating this by having her recognise Naruto in his Kyuubi-Chakra Form whilst others were suspicious just by looking in his eyes… not to mention how she managed to fix his shoulder in mid-battle against Madara and Obito. And she can inspire him too, as shown by her words at the training field before he battled Neji and how she managed to get through to him after his despair at Neji’s death. All in all, she’s been a figure of support, kindness and comradeship to him.
So it’s pretty clear that Naruto has a lot of reasons to accept rather than reject her love for him. The interaction between the two of them has been overwhelmingly positive and both of them have a tendency to bring out the best in one another. But of course, Hinata’s merits alone aren’t enough; it’s Naruto’s own feelings that are important as to whether he’ll reject her advances. And Naruto’s feelings, as of this moment (chapter 622 was the most recent one published) aren’t totally clear. But if you look at how Naruto’s feelings for Hinata have developed, it’s basically all in a positive direction. From his original first impression of her as shy and weird, now he’s got a deep and meaningful bond with her. Just take a look at events throughout the war arc; he saved her from the Zetsus, then cheered her up after noticing she was downhearted just by looking in her eyes. He tried to appear tough in front of her, according to Kiba at very least (and Naruto certainly didn’t refute it) when she appeared on the battlescene. And he held her hand, stayed by her side and thanked her for always supporting him after she helped him get over his initial despiar at Neji’s death. None of these actions exactly imply that Naruto’s about to turn around and say, “Y’know what? Let’s just stay friends.”
But the biggest reason of all Naruto wouldn’t reject Hinata? Naruto knows that she loves him. For the boy that grew up without affection, without a family, without any people that acknowledged him, that’s absolutely massive. Hinata is offering him the one thing that he’s always dreamed of - genuine, unconditional love. She’s even shown that she’d be willing to die if it meant saving him when she stepped in against Pain, despite knowing that her chances of winning were basically zero. To Naruto, that means absolutely everything.
So, in short there’s lots about Hinata that Naruto has already shown he likes, Naruto’s feelings have been shown to grow for Hinata more and more as the series has gone on and she has displayed the fact that she loves him openly. Why would Naruto reject Hinata?
There are so many things I find wrong with this post uuurgghhh (especially the "biggest reason why Naruto wouldn't reject Hinata" wow) but I wanted to let you guys take a crack at it. Maybe I'll comment on it once a few other people have — if anyone does at all lol. Besides, this will help sharpen our debate skills, right?

Where ? first of , i dont know how Naruto could have real fealings with hinata since they had interacted like 5 or 6 times in the entire show. The only upgrade that i could see between the relationship of Naruto and Hinata is
