The incentive for starting a war with the nations was to seize the remaining jinchuuriki after they refused to give them up. Shortsighted and conceited though he may be, I suspect Obito probably went into that summit realising that he would likely be creating an army to fight with since the Kages are too obstinate to accept his offer of cooperation.

Well, he could hunt the jinchuriki by himself. Or ask EMS sasuke to do that.

If his most powerful subordinate was incapable of capturing Naruto after leveling all of Konoha, what makes him believe he would fair much better without taking the sensible option which would have been to quickly appear next to Naruto, teleport him into the pocket dimension and then let him stew for a week until he's on the verge of death from dehydration? With the destruction of Konoha and the attempt made on Killer Bee still fresh on everyone's collective minds, the nations would have probably been put on high alert. The jinchuuriki would be on lock-down as they were in the manga, and the only tactic for capturing them besides using the obvious snatch-and-run idea is a direct assault that undoubtedly would have every high ranking shinobi raining down upon them like a swarm of locust. Not even Obito, Kisame, and Black Zetsu together would be capable of defeating every shinobi from all five villages. At that point, the only other recourse would be to declare war and beat the nations into submission on open ground so they'll give up Naruto and Bee.

Sasuke is only interested in his personal vendetta against Naruto and Konoha. He has no reason to allow Naruto to live for bijuu extraction or to assist Obito - that was made abundantly clear when he killed the original White Zetsu without hesitation after recovering from eye surgery.

I'm going to. I've already ordered my plane ticket for Japan and the ticket for the movie.

I'm going to the cinema, and before the movie begins I'm going to remove my brain because that's the only wait anyone can watch it.

Woah that was fast...not even gonna dub it? Ohhh October is a paranormal activity movie, love the people that go there xD

Lets not forgot that the final volume also comes out in October thank god I'm ignoring it.

The only Naruto Volume exception I might pick up is Volumes 70 & 71 just to complete the story revolving Obito.

I have a very important questions guys :mad:!!!

Well I already made a commitment that The Gaiden and Boruto The Movie will be the final things I'll do for the Naruto series. Then I'll completely move on to better series 100%.

Here is a question I have for you guys, if you had to choose between Gaiden and The Last what would it be? What's also been the worst from 1 best worst to 3 being okay  between The Ending, The Last, and Naruto Gaiden?

Alright if I had to choose between the two I'd have to go with Gaiden since not only where there moments when the characters (Naruto, Shikamaru, Shizune, Suigetsu, and Kurama) were acting like themselves. It also had it's moments of being entertaining.  The reason why I didn't pick The Last is because every character in that is OOC.

Now in terms of ranking between the worst of the three.

1 = Absolute Worst.

2 = Disgustingly Worst

3 = least worst

1. The Ending (Obvious reasons)

2. The Last  (Enough Said)

3. Naruto Gaiden (You already know)

True. Especially Mr. Freeze. He was once a joke in the comics but Batman the Animated Series made him the villain we know now.

Oda is great for reason.

Oh I forgot, shonen hero in mech series may kill human.

Goku killed people though

For me

The ending = 2

The last = 1

Naruto Gaiden = 3

I think the last existence brought more problems than anything else, Gaiden is stupid but it only exists because of the ending

I always thought it would be more interesting if Obito somehow manipulated the kages in fighting between themselves, this would give him an opening to pursue the remaining jinchuurikis in the middle of the fights

Not only this would make more sense, than "lol I will fight you all in a war" but it would also give us a far more interesting war arc

I'll never understand Sasuke's appeal.

As mentioned, for a lot of more shallow female fans, it's all about the "bad boy" and/or "mysterious" appearance and someone to self-insert themselves with. It probably varies more for male fans; so many people (girls) admiring (and wanting) him, able to pull a bunch of crap but is always able to get away with it and is always forgiven for it, has most of the coolest powers, and so on.

His powers are pretty cool. the way their derived and executed suck but compared to Naruto's there's so much better. Gimme Susanno over a retared fox anyday

Especially when you consider it was shown early on in Part 2 that even just the normal Sharingan could easily suppress Kurama's chakra, taking away Naruto's big crutch trump card before the fight even really begins. Itachi even seemed to heavily imply that Kurama and the Sharingan were directly connected to each other somehow, and Sasuke talking about the blindness from the Mangekyo Sharingan as "the cost of controlling the Kyubi's power" or something, but of course, that plot point was never expanded on nor revisited ever again.

Why is the villains with a tragic backstory on Naruto sucks but the Batman villains are awesome?

Probably because a bunch of the Batman villains are just that - villains. So many of them aren't made to be sympathetic or able to be "saved" and such. Couple that with Batman's policy of not killing and whatnot, and you constantly have that contest within Batman himself trying to stop such criminals while fighting the temptation not to cross that line (intentionally anyway). What villains that are portrayed with more sympathetic backstories are usually done so in a good way, like as brought up, Mr. Freeze. Unlike some like The Joker (who to this day pretty much has nothing known about his past and such), Mr. Freeze doesn't just randomly go out and cause havoc, but when he does cause trouble, it's usually for a purpose (usually related to his wife).

This is unlike a bunch of Naruto villains, like Obito and Madara, where Kishi tried to make them more sympathetic and giving them such backstories, but they come off as pretty weak and forced; partly because it felt like more obvious Uchiha Clan wanking and helping them avoid responsibility for their actions, and partly because none of it was ever built up and just dropped on us all at once. It's probably why early Part 2, with enemies like Deidara, Sasori, Kakuzu, and Hidan, feel so refreshing to see (again) compared to later on. Out of those four, Sasori is the only one with a slight sympathetic backstory, his parents being killed by Kakashi's father in the war IIRC, but he himself didn't really give a crap about it at present, so it wasn't something constantly dwelled upon.

Goku killed people though

Most of the deaths were in (non-canon or questionably canon) movies (Frieza in Resurrection of F for canon). Otherwise, in the (canon) series itself, the only enemies I can immediately recall that he actually killed were King Piccolo, Yakon, and Kid Buu. Feel free to add any others I may have missed.

The only person Goku has killed is his grandfather. Oh and you're thinking of Mercenary Toa that guy would kick trees and ride them for miles, lol. Goku knocked a granade back in his face and he became a cyborg after that XD

Oh thanks, yeah that's the person.
Well, shonen hero character killed someone in the past/flashback doesn't count.
What count is if he kill someone in current timeline.

While shonen anti hero could killed bad guy, but they can't kill innocent or they will be consider as villain.

I think genre play part whether a hero will kill bad guy or not.
I think only horror and mecha who could do that.

Oh, found out today that this trash comes to the U.S. in October. Just 2 months after it comes out in Japan. They work fast.

It comes off that they are desperate that they are STILL holding out hope that their is this massive Western fanbase, that will pay for this franchise now that they pissed of most of their fans.

Death Note is labelled as shounen - it was even published in Weekly Shounen Jump, just like Naruto - and Light Yagami still doesn't fit into these categories. It's not really a horror story either (and certainly not mecha), rather a crime/mystery mash-up. I still wonder how such a story could get a pass at WSJ lol.

well there are other shows that do this as well I mean the reason I love MGS so much is they are not evil either just victims there are some who are evil and just kill for the hell of it like Fatman, but you then have ones like Sniper Wolf who wouldn't kill for sport.
