Sakura has been so badly damaged by her nonsencical and unnatural forced love for Sasuke that there is no way out for her at this point. You execpt characters to evolve and learn from past experiences but in this manga it never happens, I mean what was the point to make Sakura give up on Sasuke, Sakura depressed over Sasuke, Sakura wary of Sasuke and not trusting him and then have Sakura wonders if he cares about her, girl he tried to kill you 3 times in cold blood I think it's a good indication of his feelings for you. Sakura has shown multiples times she doesn’t trust Sasuke so why was she surprised when he exposed his goals ? The writing is awful and completely negates what happened before. Then comes this chapter which is just the cherry on the cake and Sakura asking Sasuke to stop if he has a place for her in his heart, instead of standing for herself her best friend, her teacher and showing some self esteem and dignity for the first time in this manga against Sasuke. Sakura isn’t the only one tough who suffers such horrible characterization but she’s one of the most obvious example, along Naruto Obito and many other characters, it's really sad because these characters deserved a better fate but with such a sloppy writer who doesn’t seem to understand basic human behavior you can’t execpt better, Naruto's characters belong to an asylum.

Rooftop scene all over again? I think that's why Kishi put her to sleep in the first place, so that won't happen again. 

But didn't she already agree to leave Sasuke to Naruto at the end of the Land of Iron Arc? Right after he said that he and Sasuke would fight and die? Why would she step in?

I liked the chapter so there lol to me  nothing has changed and the manga is still going in the direction I have thought it is.

I remember when 691 came out, the script that was on that website for Naruto's answer regarding girls was different. When the official one came out it was close to mangapanda's one.

plot twist: Naruto is actually in a coma following the fight against Mizuki and Jiraiya's been visiting him daily to read him the Gutsy Ninja. Thus explaining the parallels between Kishimoto's manga and the story itself.

whether she learns her lesson now or not it's too late for her character she should have learnt it way before.

I don't think you bring bad luck. It's just that the fake predictions will look really silly from now on because we're making fun of others while we ourselves don't have much ground to stand on.

NS is obviously still the endgame, but what's the point of shipping them when you can't admire, sympathize, and enjoy the couple? I don't ship them because I want to win the pairing war. I shipped them because I thought their relationship was solely growing in a consistent manner and I found that to be wonderful. Well, anyways, I stopped shipping them a while ago because I don't trust Kishi's writing.

This chapter what disappointed me was not the pairings, but how he wrote the individual characters.

Naruto, messiah doesn't mean "emotionless" or "indifferent". Naruto is a messiah only through the effect of his actions but not by the way he is. In other words, anyone stronger and against Sasuke can become a messiah by default in Kishi's world. How Naruto disappoints me....he is just there standing there saying nothing to all the kitten Sasuke is putting him and his comrades through. Just because Naruto is forgivable, it doesn't mean that he should be unfeeling or indifferent to the terrible things Sasuke is doing. A messiah should feel angry to all the horrible things being done to the people and then after the fight or the apologies, there will be forgiveness. But nooooooo, as long as it's Sasuke, Naruto doesn't get angry. He just says,"Hey, that's a bit too much!" as if Sasuke just stole soup from Naruto's ramen bowl. The reason I hate this NaruSasu bromance so much is because it degrades Naruto's character so much. He's capable of being angry towards Pein or Deidara, but when it's Sasuke.....sigh......he just becomes a love sick puppy.

And yes, the way Naruto acted towards Sasuke after Sasuke stabbed Sakura was not surprising. Sakura is basically like a silver medal to Naruto. She comes AFTER Sasuke. Never before. If the girl you're in love with, no matter whether she's in love with someone else, was stabbed painfully albeit it not being real you become angry. End of story. But no, Naruto probably lacks the ability to love or become protective when the offender is Sasuke. In the end, Naruto should stick with Sasuke and they should live happily ever after without involving other people in their drama.

And Sakura...I'm not disappointed about her being in love with Sasuke because I don't like her for NaruSaku. But I'm really disappointed that Kishi regressed her character. She's the member of team seven and she doesn't go against Sasuke through ideologies or battle power. She just screams about love in the middle of the battle. Where the hell did her development go? Didn't she learn in part one that she was basically powerless to protect her teammates? It was because of that, that she seeked tutelage from Tsunade. And now near the end of the manga.....she did the exact same thing AGAIN when she swore time and again that this time she'll stand side to side with Naruto and Sasuke. She is like the boy who cries wolf. After being promising development for the umpteenth time with no result, you just give up.

And the comment Kishi made Sasuke say makes it more worse because it's true and it makes me wonder why Kishi is unnecessarily putting Sakura down miserably at the end of the manga where there is no more chance for her to stand up and prove him wrong. Sakura was trolled even more harshly than Hinata when she tripped on a Rock.

There is so much more I want to say. But this manga and the characters are so bad that words aren't enough to explain it. I quit. And if anyone wants to PM me, feel free to do so. I'll reply.

And btw, 六道仙人 is right. It's present tense according to the link Hiraishin posted.

But this was done several times, and each time she promised to improve. First it was during the forest when she cut her hair. Than she promised to go with Naruto to help him get Sasuke back. Than it was to surpass Tsunade and prove that she had truly blossomed. Sakura has been beaten down before, than has promised to be stronger, and then get's beaten down even more. Emotionally however she's like a friggin rollercoaster.
