I just...she's going to do something awesome and i know people are going to come down on her and say it's "not possible" and "doesn't count" even when she's having her crowning moment of awesome.

Let them berate her if they want. There's little doubt that they would do that anyways even if she displayed knowledge of all of the abilities in the Naruto universe and were to single-handedly defeat both Jubi and Madara. I can't help but wonder what their thoughts would have been if their presumption that Hinata would somehow fight alongside Naruto as a duo against Jubi had actually come true. Why would they not criticize her for this unforeseen capacity to confront the most powerful entity in existence with the only assistance being a person whose beast is but a mere fraction of the cumulative power of the aforementioned Jubi?

Well he did have Karin's Uzumaki vitality and Juugo's DNA which should have allowed him to passively gather the natural energy of the world around him. The latter ability, and the Curse Mark in general, were stated to have properties based on SM IIRC so Kabuto being able to use it should not come as a surprise.



I agree with you that it may appear abrupt but Kishi has done worse when it comes to providing logical explanations for these sudden increases in strength and capability. At least with Sakura he should have the basis of Tsunade providing her disciple with additional training aside from healing and increased strength abilities some time during the course of P2 to fall back on.

This. She hasn't had many fights and the fights she did have after her fight with Sasori didn't require her to go all out.

1. An attempt to attack Sasuke back in the Sasuke/Sai arc. It's possible she didn't know this technique then but she was perfecting it.
2. Pain arc. She took down a summon with no problem and afterwards, she healed those that were injured. She likely didn't master her technique then either.
3. Small fight with the two Lightning nin. Fight was short and she got kicked. That's it. Pretty self explanatory why she didn't use anything.
4. War arc. She fought off a Zetsu with ease, and hasn't had a fight since. She's been mainly healing but it seems as though she has something up her sleeve. We shall see now.

Given all of the time she's had, it's possible she picked up a few things from Tsunade as well as Shizune.

They would of jumped for joy... LOL It's crazy because they seemed to have been content with that happening but not with Sakura who's about to show that she's stronger than Hinata...

The best part, I think, is that Sakura is finally going to fight alongside her teammates instead of watching them fight like a damsel in distress.
It would be EPIC if they summoned their summons at the same time to fight the ten-tails. The new generation of sannin.

So what do you guys think it's Sakura's status when it comes to Naruto? She had Sasuke in mind at 540, but now in 631 she didn't object to Naruto telling his dad she was his girlfriend. How do these two points connect?

Same kind of questions I asked about how Naruto got from his reaction to Sakura's confession to admitting Sakura was his girlfriend. IDK. It feels as if pieces to both sides of the puzzle might be missing. Will we ever get them?

I find myself wondering if there's going to be a lot of detail when it comes to resolving the relationships. I mean, is it really necessary? Or can Kishimoto show a few things here and there -- like he did in this chapter -- and a few more to prove Sasuke is no longer an issue -- and that's enough...? At least until there's an epilogue or something?

It seems to me that Kishimoto glosses over a lot if not most of the details most of the time. Consider Hinata. Naruto has yet to acknowledge the nature of her feelings for him, or the actions she has taken to prove them, or to even acknowledge that there's something to acknowledge. After this chapter, how high are people's expectations that something like that is still going to happen?

I know a lot fans -- Hinata's entire fanbase, for example -- feel that panel time should be devoted to such things, but is that realistic when Kishimoto could avoid -- and very well may already have avoided -- most of it by crafting his content to focus on the direction things are going rather than where it's never going to go?

The bonds between Team 7 will be straightened out, no question, but I wonder how elaborate it's going to be. Depending on what evolves between Naruto and Sasuke, and how it all plays out, it may only take one panel of Sakura looking at Naruto with the perfect expression to know it's a done deal. Then maybe get a scene or two between just the two of them, then find out what happens to Sasuke/who he's with (if anyone) in the epilogue...?

Considering I didn't expect Kishimoto to connect so many dots the way he connected them in #631, I'm not sure what to think now. What do you guys think is realistic?

Naruto should just missile launch Sakura towards the Juubi's eye. Talk about an eye going pop.

I did a variation of this concept in my current fic. It worked like a charm. I'd love to see something like that happen.

This chapter was great! Naruto was great! Sakura was great! One character was a disappointment to me...Sasuke.

He used to be my favorite character and his part one self was awesome itself. I knew he was a dark character but he had an understandable goal, and he never blurred. He was always heading straight towards what he wants.

Now he only looks like a selfish child not being able to decide what he wants and go this way and that. Always following what other people say, and being manipulated by people other than Naruto. The only reason of him being immune to Naruto's Talk no Jutsu is because Naruto gives the hardest option. Which is contrary to the easy power-ups Orochimaru, or Obito gave him. Sasuke is not an attractive character as he used to be. I don't care if he's dark or evil, as long as he has the ability and strength to go through things the way he decide.

I want this Sasuke back (even though I know it's just a video)


The recent chapter has concluded that Sakura>Sasuke in terms of character attractiveness in my opinion.
Was this in part one, it would have been Sasuke>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Sakura. How things change so much.

That forehead is going to shine on the battlefield. Hopefully Naruto makes a remark about her forehead. Kishi has already taken several cannons and shot them all directly into NaruHina and SasuSaku ships, but if Naruto remarks Sakura's forehead, and she remembers that bench scene.... I don't even know if they would have planks to get on.
