It depends if she were able to be herself around him and her character development goes forward instead of backwards, then yes, I would be okay with Sasusaku. But due to my pairing preference and reasons I love it, I would still ship Narusaku.

Naruto the series is rather unrealistic in many ways. In the real world you probably wouldn't have people be quite so forgiving than they are in the Naruto world. Naruto is like a messiah who with a pep talk converts hardened murderers and powercrazy maniacs back to the team good. Wars are quickly forgiven and no tension seems to remains between the nations. Now, from what I have seen, this is not really how the real world functions. Maybe your experiance is different? Returning to abusive relationship is very common in the real world. If SS is abusive, Sakura returning to Sasuke despite his violence would be one of the more realistic things Kishi ever wrote.

I ask you to stay on topic yet you don't, why am I not surprised?

As for the bolded, yeah you're wrong. Did you see how the Kumo ninjas insulted Konoha ninjas? Did you see how A didn't trust any of the villages? Did you see how Onooki acted with the other Kages? The only ones who were forgiving were Konoha and the Sand and maybe the Mist. The only reason why there is no tension now is because they are forced to work together against a common enemy. Wars aren't forgiven quickly like you make it seem. Also how many times do I have to tell you this? SasuSaku is not your normal abusive relationship so no, your point is not valid. I guess you're a selective reader.

To me, SasuKarin becoming canon is as bad as SasuSaku becoming canon. While, yes, SK would make more sense, that doesn't excuse the fact that Sasuke nearly killed Karin with no remorse. If Karin is able to forgive him for that, then it destroys her character beyond repair. And considering I actually like Karin's character, I don't want to see her forgive the guy that she should be considering an aggressive, betraying bastard.

I told you why SK had more chances to become canon than SS and you reply saying reasons for it not become canon.

Moreover another reason why SS cant be canon.

Sasuke has it's own group even if he gets a redemption i doubt that he will come back to the village or to team's 7, sakura wish already proved that as a foreshadowing "she says a happy ending for everyone on team 7" but not sasuke coming back to the village or to the team 7, everything that happened until now team taka will still exists as a team and Sasuke as their leader.

@zacrademon me too but she has nowhere to go, she may come back but will be more cautious towards sasuke and i think he may apologize or maybe not.
but it's the same as asking to Hinata to stop loving Naruto.
she's a satellite character just like Hinata.

Hi everyone. That's right I'm new. Though I have been aware of this site since around 2007 and I've been here a lot. Ironic that I've been the biggest NS shipper and yet I've decided to join the official site when the pairing dies. This is gonna be more of a rant. A rant that many of you will probably still disagree with. I apologize for any typos, I was too upset to check if I wrote coherently.


I've read through all the pages and I've noticed about 4 people I know elsewhere. The general consensus on this forum seems to be not to fall into despair about the recent chapter. My thoughts? NH is canon. In fact, it couldn't get anymore canon for else Naruto and Hinata were to break out kissing in the middle of the war. I knew it would be canon the moment Neji died. It's the only reason he died. His death was a plot device used to spur on NH, and it's plain as daylight. Look how easily they got over Neji's death. Hinata didn't even seem to care much. The thing she was more interested in was how "big and strong" Naruto's hand was. Team Guy didn't even give a decent reaction. No one cares. A lot of NS fans are keeping hope that the pairing somehow comes through but that is really naive. You're just setting yourselves up to be disappointed all over again. Like we have been ever since Sakura confessed. We have not been given a single decent pro NS moment or a single pro Sakura moment. Kishimoto has even resorted to paralleling Hinata to Kushina! It's time people accepted that our ship was crushed. And in the most dispicable way too. Kishimoto has sidelined Sakura this entire war and given constant focus to Hinata's love for Naruto. It's like I'm reading a bad NaruHina fanfic where Sakura gets brushed off, Hinata gets glorified and takes over the role of the main female, gets paralleled to Kushina, becomes strong enough to encourage Naruto, Naruto saying she's always been by his side and they both fight together as a superpowered couple. It's a NaruHina fanfiction!

How do I feel? Hurt. Confused. Betrayed. I've spent most of my time as an NS shipper defending Sakura and the pairing while showing evidence that Hinata is not a great character, all to have it thrown in my face. Kishimoto has ensured Sakura will end up the most pathetic character in this manga. Now with NH canon, you can be sure Sakura will only be reduced to Uchiha baby maker for Sasuke. It's coming. There's no decent way for NS to happen now. None that will not make both Naruto and Kishimoto look like asses. We just have to swallow this hard pill. We are without a doubt, the pairing that deserved to be canon the most and yet Kishimoto has repeatedly spit in our face since Pain's arc.

The worse part about this chapter is that Sakura role has been taken over by Hinata. Sakura is in the background saying no more than 2 words every now and again. Like Tenten! We have to sit through 2 weeks of NH fans throwing it in our faces. Lovely. I don't know why people are looking forward to the next chapter. It won't bring any salvation you know. Hinata is gonna be fighting by Naruto against some of the strongest characters in this manga, with the first few pages in color of them holding hands. What can Sakura do now to redeem herself after Hinata's glorification? Nothing. Kishimoto doesn't care about her anymore. All that's left is to see how Kishi makes Sasuke fall for Sakura.

My fellow NS shippers, it was a rough ride and we were always on the optimistic side, hoping, wishing, but in the end Kishi never gave us a single break. Not with NS. Not with Sakura.

I kind of agree with this too. I don't think Sasuke really deserves to have a love interest. I wouldn't mind if Karin forgave him, but yeah just like Sakura, it would be a downgrade on their character development if they continued loving the man who tried to kill them. If anything, if Sasuke's character is redeemed, I would say it's best for him to stay alone, kind of repent for his ways.

*- Also, Forgiveness does not belittle a person or make them seem weak. If anything if Karin was able to forgive Sasuke, and yet move on. It would show that she is definitely strong willed and for me that would be plus points for her character.

but what I'm worrying about is the next one.

there are 3 things that i really REALLY don't want happening

1) obito thinking hinata is naruto's girl

2) naruto and hinata tag teaming to defeat obito (that should be reserved for main character only)

3).....sakura not doing anything...or ANY of the rookies not doing anything.....i mean neji just died! we the heck is tenten, lee, and Guy!!

I'm really hoping this does not happen. I would really dislike it if Hinata or Sakura would become target for Obito. The only thing that could save a scenario like that for me is that Hinata or Sakura would save herself, and that I can't see happening since it's Obito, the main villain.

What are your feelings about Obito targeting Sakura, now that ch 615 came out?
