He didn't say Sakura would have an entire arc, he said that he would write about Sakura just after Kakashi. That's not the same, it doesn't mean the arc will be center on her. 

And do you really think Kishi would have time to write an entire arc for Sakura, while next arc will surely be the last? Next arc will certainly be about Team 7 and its resolution, so it's possible that Kishi will keep his promise and write about Sakura, and resolve her character. 

Well, it's not like Kakashi has the entire arc for himself as well. It's about who is getting a big development. So yeah, Kakashi is getting his closure very soon. Sakura is on hold as well as Sasuke with dropping hints of his intentions. Naruto gets bits by bits but that's how a protagonist works.

That's exactly what I said, she won't have an entire Arc for herself, just like Kakashi. I said Kishimoto said he would write about Kakashi then he would write about Sakura.

I had previously assumed that when Kishi said he would write about Sakura that he was referring to the events in the Summit arc given that the statement was made sometime before that arc.

 

But I do hope that I might be wrong and that Kishi does plan to focus on her in a similar way that Kakashi was focused on during the Obito conflict. It still worries me that when asked some years back what focus would he give Sakura Kishi straight up said she slipped his mind.

Because it's understandable, she has no connections with the plot of the war arc, Sakura is a main character obviously but she's only connected when we got Team 7 or romance subplot appears.

So he focused on the plot called peace on the war arc, but Sakura is not related to it.

Kishi finished all the side characters on this arc, and this includes Hinata too.

Though given with the developments, it does seem like her turn is coming, just this one is more with Kakashi when dealing with Obito, who he is the guy that changed Kakashi forever. You can't go more deeper than that for Kakashi. Sakura is on hold, Sasuke is on hold, and Naruto gets snippets. So it's always best to wait for that to come.

Dont get me wrong but Sakura's development is almost finished, the only thing that remains is the romantic subplot.
Kishi already finished her development as a shinobi by making them fight as a team 7 once again to show that she doenst need to be protected anymore and could fight alongside Naruto and Sasuke, then after it she got acknowledged and praised by side characters.

But the Main aspect of her character is the romance subplot because Sakura is the romance subplot, im not implying she's a pairing fodder or whatever but that thoughout part 2 she appeared more when it comes to pairings, by developing her caring feelings for Naruto to a point of giving the benefit of doubt when it comes to her true feelings, the summit and the war arc with chapters like 540.

I understand. Though in her defense, she is in between the dilemma with them not necessarily romance subplot but the fact they may die is something to be dealt with. Romance is a personal development, so perhaps there will be a bit more to her in the near end. Not guaranteed, but the possibility is there.

On that scene she was more afraid of losing Naruto, but what kind of outcome it might be?

Will it helps for her to accept her feelings for Naruto as genuine love? Or will lead her to chose between one of them?

 

Kishi is not going for a route where she "finds something else to keep going forward".

That part is more of Team 7 drama than a love subplot. Making that as love would be bad since that's like saying "I want him die only since the other is my real love." It's more to "both of die will end Team 7 more than one way." She's in Team 7, so the drama follows her.

half in half because it's became part of the subplot because she also gets afraid of losing them and the ones who are battling against each other are the guy who she loves and the guy who she cares the most, but that's not development and that was what i pointed out;

 

There's nothing here other than show she's worrying about them and that she's the character who gets affected by this rivalry between Naruto and Sasuke, she's the one in the middle.

It doenst lead to any progression or realization that makes her character goes forward.

 

Which is the reason i said that her character is almost done because the only thing that is left is the romance subplot she's already finished as a ninja, on the team 7 aspect she already took the decision to believe on them.

I'll laugh if in the end he uses gedo rinne tensei.

Madara seems to be a guy that he will also realize that what he did was wrong, it's possible for Kishi to lengthen the story by instead of making Obito use the Gedo Rinne Tensei, he decides to write Madara's redemption and make him use it instead.
