One of the things I'm still wondering about is how exactly the method would be for sakura to finally love naruto. I mean she does care for naruto a lot but I'm still wondering how Kishi would bring the change to her to finally love naruto after so many events like the revelation to her from sai in 457, kushinas foreshadow, the parallel confirmation and foreshadow build on 631, naruto showing he still loves sakura (to many they want a better answer but it's easy to say naruto still loves sakura until proven otherwise) cause he likes the idea of her as his girlfriend, sakura not trusting Sasuke, in addition to naruto and sakura not having that high moment together yet when the final fight involving Sasuke comes up, and even the possiblity of the stuff from chapter 3 being revealed, I still wonder how exactly things will go if there's a lot hinting for ns, sakura recently focused much more on narutos wellbeing even having development from the land of iron, all this stuff happening after 615 which is supposedly the high point for nh, yet it's been left behind as not highly major, I'm really curious as to how exactly Kishi will show Sakura's shift to naruto after major events like sais revealation to her and the Kushina foreshadow and all stuff from 631.

To be honest I think Sasuke is holding her back, not her love for him but just she needs to have some sort of closure, same with Naruto. Naruto said he couldn't tell Sakura how he feels until he fulfills his promise. I think Naruto will eventually notice that Sakura isn't in love with Sasuke anymore and make a move.

I half agree with you. Indeed, Kishi put too much Naruto and Sasuke's (yaoi like impression) bromance, but that did not ruin the entire thing for me. In fact my love of the series is pretty much unchanged. The only thing that I find exasperating is Naruto's (former) constant obsession with Sasuke's So-called "redemption". It's like Naruto is saying that Sasuke's actions are not of his own free will and that he needs to be "saved". If Naruto truly considers Sasuke his friend, He would accept that Sasuke is his own person and the choices he made are not something that should be interfered with, despite the disagreement between them but still be considered his best friend.

And on the topic of NaruSaku, I consider this love triangle to not be so much of a love triangle. Why? Because Sasuke's development destroys the concept of what a love triangle should be. If Kishi intended to make Sasuke a villain, Or as the original idea was, to kill him off, Why make Sakura like him in the first place? That seemed like a poor excuse for Sakura to move on to Naruto since Sasuke became evil/died. If that was the scenario, Sakura would have been better off liking Naruto in the first place, which is a role that we all know was passed off to Hinata.

 

Now, if Kishi wanted to portray Naruto's Constant struggle with loneliness and that he barely had any positive relationships in his childhood, then Sakura could just have not told him her feelings, like the concept of Hinata but not out of shyness, but for another reason, like say she did not want to distract him from working hard and achieving his dreams and still act like a tsundere to him but cheers for him and encourages him in secret. That is not to say I don't Love Sakura's character as it is now or that I want her to be a sattelite character who only thinks of Naruto, but much hatedom and unfortunate misconceptions of her character would have been avoided if she wasn't portrayed as love struck for Sasuke, and being oblivious to Naruto's suffering just for the sake of fuelling the rivalry between the two of them, which is kind of continuing to this day. Kishi admitted that this was the reason for the love triangle in the first place himself though I forgot where he said that.

 

What I'm trying to say is that He did not need to change Sakura's character, but if he shaped her initial attitude and feelings towards Naruto differently, like being a girl that had a crush on him plus knew of his tragic past but did not show it too much for fear of  distracting him but subtley supported his dreams, that would have change a WHOLE TON of first opinions on her. Then he would not need to work so hard to convince people that Sakura's relationship with Naruto has changed or that she is a bad character. I'm sure that a lot of members here agree that Sakura's selfish demeanour was due to how she was fangirling Sasuke so much, no?

Helga is a another american tsudare that  verbally abused Arnold due to her feelings for him, however at the same time her love for Arnold is actually more justified she has a family that neglects her all her since kindergarten and its pretty much the reason why her personality is the way it is. That's the reason why when Helga verbally attacks Arnold not to many people call her abusive, shouldn't end up with Arnold, b*tch any other insults instead they support her love for Arnold.

If any kishi didn't make sakura love a character for shallow reasons while making naruto suffer that pretty much leads to a bad reputation on her character than kishi would not have been in this mess in the first place. This makes me feel a bit pity for sakura she was only created to get bash, hated, disliked to death due to poor writing choice. one day I might dedicate a character for her only this time better written with a lot of attention/care just for the fun of it and to let go my sadness over sakura's reputation as character.

 

As for the reason why the love triangle exists Somebody did posted an interview in that interview kishi mentions how the love triangle was there so people could feel sympathetic for the character personality he put much sympathy towards hinata and then naruto no wonder why most of fans of the manga and studio perriot wants them to be together. By the way the interview is somewhere in this site its in one of threads.

Nh is on part 1 on chapter 3 : on that moment on part 1 and her confession got labelled as encouragmente.

 

NS is on prt 2 chapter 7 : on her moment when she was willing to fail the exam in order for Naruto not fail got labelled as love, as when Saske saved Naruto on Zabuza, and also her confession for Naruto(i hate people who lie to themselves), Rock Lee telling Sakura(ill protect you with my life). her confession towards Sasuke(you make me sick). and some other moments too but nothing to do with NS SS.

It's just everyone is stuck on part 1 Sakura. It's not anyone but the American viewers fault who fail to see Sakura has been changing. Change doesn't happen quickly. Kishi has to make it believable. I agree he could have made Sakura less fangirly but that was the whole point of her character at the time. It was to shown how chidish she was.

Due to her love for Sasuke the only thing she wanted was to be noticed by him, she didnt had a path to become a strong kunoichi or something like that because all she wanted was to be his girlfriend and nonetheless.(despite her vow to not want to be protected by them but yet she didnt made an effort to be stronger, she was never seen training anyway).
After Sasuke abandons her, she lose her motivation to continue until Naruto makes the poal and he fails she promises to become a strong kunoichi to help him.

Definitely. I was only explaining my views on the love triangle. It does not really feel like a love triangle to me now that I think about it, because of the direction  that was taken with Sasuke. I mean turning Sasuke evil or killing him off as the intention originally was only makes it seem Sakura would only be with Naruto in the end because Naruto is obviously the good man and obviously what person of "sane" mind would choose the person that tried to kill them? So I just question why make Sakura like Sasuke in the first place? Again. That was the only flaw that made her "annoying" in the eyes of the fans at the beginning, not her other personality traits that make her seem more human and normal. Plus that is why as you notice, support of NaruSaku are kind of small, because of how things were between them at first. I am only theorizing that Sakura would not get such a huge hatedom if she never liked Sasuke in the first place, but liked Naruto. I was bringing this up because of this.

Anyway it happened on the summit and the result was that she doesnt want to be with Sasuke, she still had lingering feelings of being with him until he tried to kill her and she found out he was evil.

 

I think she still loves Sasuke but is determined to drop those feelings, it happens on real life, even with me(im a guy) there was a girl that i loved but she wasnt worth it.

So in fact she may still love Sasuke but she doesnt want to pursue him anymore this is probably the reason why she hasnt fangirled like Ino or Karin, Sakura has Naruto and Naruto loves her, she wants to return Naruto's feelings and she knows that Sasuke is not worth of it.

 

She liked Sasuke on part 1 because he was cool, much like Naruto now is cool but he was like that and it become love due to the team 7 dynamic where she was happy.

 

The fact is does Sakura loves Naruto? we all know that she must love him in order for it to get canon otherwise we would not have the summit, i think Sakura found another man(Naruto) but it's not in love with him yet.

For anything that's come so far, when we have seen the love confessions of hinata and sais revelation to sakura about naruto, the fact that sakura had events built up from sais actions leading to the land of iron and even further into 540 and 630, her view in Sasuke and knowing not to let naruto do everything alone. The fact all this happened and not much regarding hinatas confession, I'd say it was 457 and sais revelation to sakura that serves as the big game changer in total. I mean back in the time before 631 when people thought ns was dead, they really just wanted to accept ns as dead cause it's easier to go following words than the meanings of why characters do what they do.

I mean if nh was to happen now, given it had opportunity to grow during the war arc for ns to be supposedly "dead" at the time, when nh fans took the open route ideal that everything was set for them, literally the claim of calling ns dead left more questions than answers and considering until 631 Kishi have no clear resolution but instead the kushina foreshadow came in, naruto not addressing sakura or hinatas actions or showing how he felt about sakura at the time, sakura showing sadness over Sasuke, fans gutting each other over kushinas foreshadow to find a girl like her, this was the embodiment if the ns vs nh stuff for years unti 615 caused a massive too early call making nh fans over zealous then only a few weeks later in May, minato came in and as Swayer7mage said, he took a flying thunder god poop on all nh fans hopes and dreams, 631 is still the biggest pairing event of the year because of just how much outrage this simple moment did, it was like a 3 hit combo punch to the gut of every anti ns fan, naruto considering sakura his girlfriend, minato thinking of sakura like Kushina, and naruto basically hinting he still love sakura, all of these especially following 615 which they thought sealed the deal. What happened in all this aftermath? People hated naruto and minato, changed their views on kushinas foreshadow, claimed minato was wrong, said it's just comedy, naruto shouldn't listen to his parents, still followed hinata like minato, this was such a bad meltdown forums were closed, moderators were overworked, people looked for excuses and answers even if it sounded insane, the economy fell, Jesus came back for a short visit, and the empire struck back. In short, it was chaos. Now what do many fans do? Looked for anything they could saying 631 was undone by minor events like sakura getting rescued by Sasuke, minato seeing Kushina in naruto, and so on. Even though none of this changed the fact that sakura was still the only girl like Kushina. 631 caused such a scar into other fandoms, you can still see those effects 7 months after the initial disaster. Worst of all, none of this occurred when 615 came up even with nh fans going berserk about them being canon. It was only a minor event should ns get a canon. The real doomsday would start.

This going back to my main point, again if nh went canon it just wouldn't make sense, i mean with all the fore mentioned just being how fans reacted and treated the events like 631, it was events like 457 and sais actions that just set the turning point in my opinion because sakura learned how naruto took hits for her and kept shut just to protect Sasuke and the pain the promise caused him. It was an event which she learned the meaning behind his words as he made the poal to her, sakura was torn at how much he was suffering, what she caused, and how he felt about her. Going on sais words of how everyone depended too much on him, this was actively relayed in 630 by sakura to the allaince to not let naruto do it all alone, everyone had to do what they were able to. If anything the revealation combined with seeing Sasuke changed, it's left sakura unsure, she is unsure about Sasuke. As for the land of iron events, as said many times it's not something she can force herself to do but naruto also learned of the reasons for her actions and it's not something he would use to stay angry at her. Even after this event, it's funny how people would go yelling ns dead with nothing building nh and stuff like Kushina came in with her past, her foreshadow, and 631 this all linked together hinting ns if it's hinting it, ns isn't dead and for people who still consider it like that, that's just selective reading.

457 and sais action proved to be a moment that not only showed why naruto couldn't just confess to sakura, sakura gained development regarding him and his efforts. It was this moment when a lot more care and concern for him awakened on sakura, she spent a good portion of the time in the ten tails arc on naruto even with Sasuke present. This is something people need to be open to, just what will sakura do next since these events came up. Sakura doesn't want naruto to be hurt, overextend himself, and she doesn't want to cause him pain. How people suspect it's impossible for naruto to approach sakura again or for her to bring some resolution on her actions if people really need a clear answer, I'd say ever since sais revealation Sakura's concern and care for naruto grew. It's still beyond me why people think naruto won't ever get the chance to confess to sakura, he will. Sais revealation isn't a confession by proxy, naruto was concerned with her actions in the land of iron over just confessing to him. People still forget, sakura and naruto had their reasons for the fake confession event. Sakura wanted to get naruto to safety knowing naruto would even refuse being torn over the action, she didn't like having to lie to him. Naruto wanted to know why she did the fake confession but learned from sai and also couldn't tell her the reasons about itachi. The events that followed the land of iron, if anything I would say it only improved the possibility of ns in the end along with the fact sakura currently doesn't trust Sasuke and nh really hasn't gone anywhere.
