Wish that Kishi would just stop trying to 'fix' Naruto, I guess that no one ever told him the phrase 'digging your own grave'. I will remember fondly the characters that made me love Naruto that were sacrificed at the all-mighty altar that is money (and crazy fan boys/girls).

Cause those neck warmers? look a lot like the scarf that Hinata gave Naruto in The Last (you know the one that Naruto took while tossing aside the only memento that he had of his mother). Also, if you cut Hinata's hair a little bit shorter, she does get a bowl cut much like Lee?

Lol I remember that reading this - "you're my child, no doubts about it. An idiot child, that is" - followed by a panel of Naruto made it seem like it was a page from another universe where Salad was Sakura's and Naruto's daughter. I mean, it just reminded me of Sakura calling Naruto an idiot too much.
That panel just made me sad. Why is the focus on Naruto's reaction? Twice! What is the purpose of putting him in there. It should have been Sasuke's face predominantly. But Sasuke just seems as distant as ever, not looking on fondly as Naruto was.
This might explain why SS and other abusive pairings are popular

So, images like this, going into databook-style detail about the next generation, are why I think this is going to be continued under a new mangaka. I could easily see Kishimoto hanging around as creative director or something, functioning like he has for the anime and movies. Creative input and collecting a royalties check, nothing more.
Why would this even be put out there if they didn't plan on continuing the series? Is it just to familiarize viewers with the characters for the movie? Thoughts?

For the first time in the 11th Naruto movie I wrote the entire script by myself, devised the character designs, refining them until I was satisfied, than for the sake of perfection requested that the staff to refine them further. When serialization ended, immediately all the time I used to spend on the manga was poured into the movie. In truth this is the Naruto film I really wanted to make. One last word….after this I won’t draw anything further."

Unless he starts spending like crazy that's not going to happen. But if it does you can bet anything that he will work on Naruto again.

Good god what a waste of paper is all I can say so this whole Gaiden really was pointless in the end god help me and all of us.

Didn't he also write Road to Ninja though? 
Maybe it wasn't the entire script... Correct me if I'm getting something wrong.
Also the "I had them refining the designs until I was satsified, and then some more for the sake of perfection" talk seems like PR kitten to me. Sorry, but I can't believe you were actually satisfied by Mitsuki's ugly movie design, Trollilmoto. Or by Bolt's design, he's way uglier than in manga imho. Just look at them here.
