I'm in a bad mood today. I found out that the HeroRat I adopted for Christmas passed away. (Poor Cheeky.) I had to read six chapters of graduate level project management text over the weekend and write two papers in the last 24 hours. And my entire office got lectured for 30 minutes over not properly tracking our billable hours (athough mine were fine, I still got blasted with everyone else.)

And then I looked at FF.net for Fairy Tail, trying to find something, ANYTHING, to make me feel better.... Geh. This is what I see.

Whoa that's some crazy arse of spoilers, I wonder why Mashimo would put them in his volume? Looks like it was with Rave Master, things are going to get a major shake-up, and strangely with charactors who played similar roles in his previous manga.

If he kills off Jellal for a second time I'm going to be really really pissed. Especially now that Erza has mostly forgiven him. Now, I have a feeling the council is going to find out Mystogan is really Jellal and disqualify Fairy Tail B team as a result, but I'm hoping they don't actually kill him. Again. Grrr.

Taking how Mashima suffers an mortal fear of killing main characters, he will probally make him leave the series for good, wonder around the world or something. But then again, there goes to the drain an possible happy ending for Erza.

Judging by the look Ogra gave Chelia when she used her dark winds I'm starting to think he might be the Lightning God Slayer. I won't believe it 100% until it's confirmed since that would already make 3 in Sabertooth capable of using Slayer magic. Even if Ogra's is God magic and not Dragon magic it might be a little too much.

Who would've thought little Chelia was such a beast. Wendy's battle seems hopeless but at the very least I want her to manage a tie. Let's hope she still has some magic left in the second container.

So Shelia is Sherry's cousin? I thought they were sisters for some reason. Well I guess that makes the power difference slightly more understandable, but not by much...

I'm curious how the God-Slayers got their powers. I don't recall Zancrow ever mentioning it, but the obvious answer would be that they were raised by gods, which aren't really an established race in the FT-verse yet. Maybe the God-Slayers are just artificial mages, kind of like the 2nd gen Dragon-Slayers (Laxus and Cobra).

I didn't think about that, but I think that's actually pretty likely. We know Laxus and Orga are destined to get a fight (they both seemed to be given reaction panels to each others' displays of power on Day 3), and he's gonna need powers that rival Thunder Dragon Slayer magic if he wants an even fight with Laxus. But dang, Fire God vs. Fire Dragon, Sky God vs. Sky Dragon, Thunder God vs. Thunder Dragon...I just hope we see an Iron God Slayer before the end of the manga.

Well, Yasuharu Takanashi is actually composing the soundtracks for the movie, Uematsu is the one composing the ending. But I wonder if Mashima specifically requested him to be on the team if not to compose the soundtracks then at least compose the ending song. I guess Mashima is a big Uematsu fan .

Would've been awesome if he was the one composing the soundtracks, I bet. Also, fun fact: the composer for the soundtrack of this movie is also working on Road to Ninja.

I'm looking forward to Aya Hirano's song too. If it's composed by Uematsu, it should sound real good. I'm kinda hoping the ending will have an ending animation where Lucy sings the song.

I had a feeling it was gonna end in a draw, good to know I was right. That was a nice plan that Wendy came up with, boosting the stamina of opponents so their attacks miss. She proves to all that sometimes using your brains can be even more important then simple brawn since at the end of the day Chelia remained stronger when it came to raw magic power. It reminded me of how Natsu used good strategy to defeat Zancrow, his God Slayer counterpart.

I think that by default the God Slayers are somewhat stronger than their Dragon Slayer counterparts. Of course that doesn't mean the dragon slayers can't become stronger, I'm sure they can if they train enough, it's just that their base magic power starts out being lower than the God Slayers. I'm pretty sure that when a Dragon Slayer achieves Dragon Force a God Slayer would stand no chance. Lets hope there isn't a God Force.

When I first saw that weird hopping in the crowd, I assumed that the energy Jellal was sensing was from Obra's pet...thing. But it definitely seems like he was sensing a human-ish figure, so I dunno. Maybe Zeref's back, and that black thing is an extension of him, or something. I can't help but think that that weird thing is gonna be tied to whatever the main villain of this arc turns out to be.

Next chapter, "Night of Intersecting Feelings" sounds like it might be pretty shippy. Hopefully it's not just angsty Jerza stuff. Snooze.

That was pretty funny. Macao and Wakaba will have a lot of explaining to do to their families. I'm gonna guess that Jenny was feeling so down for having to pose nude for the magazine that the Blue Pegasus guys did it was well as a sign of solidarity. I actually found it pretty heartwarming. On the other hand they might've just done it for fun.

So it's official, Freed is gay. There goes the Freed/Mira ship.
