That may be with the canon material (and I can easily recall about 3 more similar scenes with people who said something significant to Sakura concerning Naruto, yet ending up in a waste), but I'm hopeful that the author of these panels will change that. :)

This, I kept to myself, but as this re-imagining of last is, after what sasuke did on war I think he's not supposed to be alive at all. Overall, those 2 pages of Sasuke has more sense in him than all of his actions post-Itachi in original manga, lmao.

In theory, this is the Sasuke that went to "find himself" for 2 years. Him becoming insightful, empathic, introspective, and wanting to help people realize their own feeling so they can also find happiness like he has are normally the supposed intended result one sets out to get when they are doing those sorts of journeys. Though often people do it just to be smug and self important instead.
At least it better than what he got out of by Boruto. Where he still the largely unemotional ass who main job is to teach Bolt, that he should have been worshiping Naruto and the ninja system all along like he has.

Okay, everyone, we have another new page.
Throw the canon content away and inject this into my veins. XD
Sure, it does feel a little out of character considering how cold Sasuke is/was, but he was also the bridge towards NS during the post-chunnin exams arc, in where he gave the credit to Naruto for saving Sakura. So I can accept this version of Sasuke better than what anything the canon has to offer at present time.
