ps,   Volume 30 ends with this as the final page in Chapter 303 and ah.....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It reminds me of the last moment between Naruto and Kushina before she disappears... albeit the context here is very different for sure, but it's just so wholesome!

Side note kind of disappointed there was no more info on Allen but props to Finral and Langris fighting together

About time for that especially considering Langris' jealously of his older brother and his irritation at being saved by him when he was possessed, as well as making Finral aware of his,flirtatious nature just to make it harder for him with Finesse just because of that envy he feels...

I suspect this will lead to some development for Langris, considering he really needs a wakeup call still.

What happened with Yuno is interesting considering this is his own power not just the power he has from the soul of Licht and Tetia's child in his soul to boot. It just means that we'll see what his original magic is meant to be, similar to what we learned about Asta and Liebe with the 5 clover grimoire as well as Anti-Magic.

Actually, I want to see more of her Saint Valkyrie Stage power-up before she moves on to the next since she hasn't mastered it yet.

Agreed. :) And we saw how she held her own so well against Vanica and Megiculla, so it shows how much stronger Noelle has gotten. Heck, all of the cast has grown in many ways, like Mimosa with her healing magic, as well as Grey awakening hers to save Gauche when Dante attacked the Black Bulls to get Yami for the ritual.

Oh she'll show it off more, definitely. I just mean Asta and Yuno are getting more power spikes so I want the same with her. She is supposed to stand beside them as their equal after all. Specifically to Asta, both as his waifu and as a MC that drives the plot

Also was nice to see Yami realizing how much the Black Bulls mean to him when they come to the rescue, and how deep down, due to his own loneliness, even as much as he'd made connections when he came to the Clover Kingdom, that it was HIM truly looking for a place to belong, and how he finally isn't seeming like he's looking down on his team, even if he doesn't do it maliciously.

Yeah. Although I didn't hit home for me as much since I always realized it was the case with Yami  I was just happy Noelle was blushing when she said it (in a platonic, maybe familial manner). Asta has to be the next one she has that reaction with when she directly says she loves someone

Yup, I figured that the ending of the last chapter was too saccharine to be the end of it, especially since they haven't even got passed half of the layers yet. And Lucifero is *pissed*.

I'm not gonna lie, I did want the story arc to continue but considering the way the fights were blazed through in a pretty anti-climatic fashion admittedly I wouldn't have been surprised if it DID end. I love the new power ups everyone got but I must say, the combat tension and struggle with the Elves was handled better even though it did have the occasional anti-climatic fights too lol. But I digress, if the plot and fights dragged out for too long, fans would complain it's too slow, So i understand and also that's just how Black Clover is I'm just looking forward to more development between Asta nd Noelle after that huge teasing we got  Side note but others have said it was nice how Mimosa was giving support to Yuno for once and I agree since she has been acting like a GD member in name only since she's been mostly giving support to Asta so far because of her feelings for him.

Um not gonna lie, the moment with Mimosa last week.... did not impress me. The highlight was the development of a certain side character

Well it seems there is a drawback for Asta's current powers

The Dark Triad arc finally concludes with Asta and Liebe defeating Lucifero - albeit temporarily - while Adrammelech confiscates his heart for unknown purposes. Yami is left in a state of near-death and Charlotte confesses her feelings to him, however Vanessa's ability to manipulate fate allowed the other Black Bulls to arrive on scene and  help save Yami by giving Mimosa enough energy via forcefeeding her food to heal him.  We get a nice scene of Yami thanking Charlotte and he apparently heard at least part of her confession, which leads to typical hilarity.
