I don't know about you guys, but I'm looking forward to Sakura knocking the Juubi out with some super charge sage mode strength. Given that Tsunade already had an awesome technique, Sakura's is bound to be even better! What with the whole "surpass the previous generation" thing.

This is what she's really got going for her. Unless she magically turns out to be Senju (which I reaaaaaaaaaaaaally don't see happening but it does make sense) she has a naturally smaller chakra pool. I see Sage mode being something she could only pull off infrequently unless she worked on it a TON kinda like Kakashi and the Kamui.

Honestly, if it is Sage mode then I think she's probably been working on it since at least the Pein arc if not even longer. Of course it's going to take her longer. She doesn't have 3 shadow clones running around doing 4x the work. She's only 1 person and A NORMAL one at that. Everyone is saying "Oh well where was this power before??" Well there's your answer.

Agreed. I would love if it's Sage mode because we haven't seen Slug Sage mode yet and it's only fitting if our girls does the honor of unleashing it. If she has the slug contract, then it's understandable that it's in her reach. I think we're gonna find out that whatever she's using now has been perfected by her. Hopefully we get a few panels of her training to master whatever this is.

Actually, Sakura's a faster learner than Naruto if we look back on things. She picks up on things quicker so of course, while it wouldn't take her as short of a time as it took Naruto due to his clones in training, Sakura's perfect chakra control and ability to learn things quicker than others plays in her favor. Look at how easy it was for her to master the skills of walking up a tree.

As much as I want to believe the sage mode theory, the Toad Sage Fukasaku clearly stated that it was a technique that only Naruto and Jiraiya could have done because of their large chakra supply. I guess Sakura could have a large chakra supply, I don't think we've ever had anyone say otherwise so it's possible.

Well before the recent battle with Tobi and the Jubi Kakashi was looked upon as being comparatively weak by quite a few fans due to his inefficient chakra amounts and hesitance to utilize the one technique which could arguably place him in the top 10/15 of many peoples' tier lists. Now look upon him as he has been using Kamui and Raikiri incessantly throughout the entire battle whilst being healed only two times IIRC. Keep in mind that Kakashi has been in constant battle since he and Guy arrived onto the scene in 566. Even if his chakra level are restored I would imagine the impact of battling for so long would become quite wearisome both physically and psychologically for himself.

If Kakashi can be provided with these exorbitant chakra levels or if he honed his technique to the point where it requires less chakra to use Kamui then why could Sakura not be provided the same benefits or if need be compensate for the stamina requirements with her exemplary chakra control?

I just can't help thinking that we honestly haven't seen Sakura do ANYTHING since Sasori. I just feel like this moment is almost like Kishi retconning his boo-boos with Sakura and going:

"Hey guys, the reason she's been useless is because she's been prepping Strength of a 100 and Sage Mode. There, you happy? Oh, and when we didn't see her she was at Shikkotsu Forest at Tsunade's request."

Like ANYTHING is possible right now because she's been so handicapped throughout the series.

Well he did have Karin's Uzumaki vitality and Juugo's DNA which should have allowed him to passively gather the natural energy of the world around him. The latter ability, and the Curse Mark in general, were stated to have properties based on SM IIRC so Kabuto being able to use it should not come as a surprise.

I agree with you that it may appear abrupt but Kishi has done worse when it comes to providing logical explanations for these sudden increases in strength and capability. At least with Sakura he should have the basis of Tsunade providing her disciple with additional training aside from healing and increased strength abilities some time during the course of P2 to fall back on.

I just...she's going to do something awesome and i know people are going to come down on her and say it's "not possible" and "doesn't count" even when she's having her crowning moment of awesome.
