My RL friend and I both agree that we're just reading Naruto to see how it ends now, and I personally kinda wanna see it all burn? Meaning I want to see things that will irritate the fans that I know. I want more asspulls. I want more nonsense, just to see people scramble because I can't be bothered to care anymore after today's chapter. Now I'm just in it for the giggles B)

He already did some questionable things before, but this time, it's just OOC left and right that you would expect from a bad fanfic writer. Perhaps Naruto is officialy an fanfic now? I know what you mean. After reading the latest chapter... I lost respect for Kishimoto writing skills. He already did some questionable things before, but this time, it's just OOC left and right that you would expect from a bad fanfic writer. Perhaps Naruto is officialy an fanfic now? I'll read to see how it ends, not truly interested about it anymore.

I don't even know with this manga anymore. I think it's just gone on for so damn long that Kishi's interest in what he wants for each character has changed, and now he's trying to get done what he wants in as short an amount of time as possible--and it's showing.

Hear hear. I don't think any series should keep going for so long, if I had to make an series for anything longer then 10 years I would go crazy. But I don't think impatience is excuse for lazy writing. But there is just something in me that says Karin have more going on then we are seeing, especially seeing how serious she was once the guards took their eyes out of her. It would be absolutely epic if this is all an act just to get an chance to stab Sasuke in the back once everyone is distracted. Oh... but who I am fooling, Kishimoto can't do cool things anymore... >_>

Oh god I would love that. I was looking forward to Karin developing beyond her Sasuke thing, so to see her supposedly forgive all and jump back on his side was extremely disappointing. I'd like to think that she's messing with everyone and has a plan for later, but somehow I doubt it.

So, the thing is, I changed a lot of things about the storyboard. For example, the series wouldn't be about aliens anymore, they kind of would be there, but not as the main focus. The series would be set in a near future, and about an small group of students in an school that spend their time investigating suspicious phenomenons that happen around them.
