I think their doing it by birthdays. Sakura is spring since her birthday is in March. Hinata's winter since her birthday is in December. Shikamaru or Kakashi are Autumn since their birthdays are in September. Sasuke may be summer since his birthday is in July.

NS has allot more doujins then SS infact then any paring and a lot more smuttier SS is nowhere near NS in this Lol .

If I remember correctly Shikamaru said something like: I can't leave Naruto, he needs me.
And everyone except Hinata was thanking Naruto for healing Shikamaru. Hinata had a angry face on and said that she has to try harder if she wants to be there for him too. It seems that she easily forget about people whose life is in danger or are dead.

 

Which chapter was this again? I don't remember it going down like that. Mostly because I read it fast so I don't always notice every detail.

Every single time I see her face I just want to punch her. Or to be more precise Kishi since he wrote her like that.

 

What if Kishi intentionally made her that way to make her a villain in the movie as a massive "kitten you" to those specific Hinata fans who sent him death threats? Or to have her get over it in the film by learning a lesson without joining the dark side?

No.  It's because looking at it rationally, Hinata's flaws are of a nature so contrary to Naruto's personality and way of life that it makes them almost completely unsuited for each other.

I don't know if you noticed, but she already confessed to him, she held hands and gave him strenght when Neji died... Hinata CAN touch Naruto, she have a connection with him. And Hinata and Naruto have a good bond. She's very unconfident, but Naruto always pass through this barrier of shyness and self-judgment. And every time Naruto is down, she raises him up.

 

Every time Naruto is down?  Uh, no.  The one time in this battle -- Hinata's one big moment with Naruto -- is the only time she has actually been there for him in a way and at a time that mattered.  

 

There are so many other ways Hinata could have helped Naruto -- been there when he was down, helped him pursue his goals, etc. -- but she didn't.  Even in her confession in front of Pain, Hinata was of no help to Naruto and in fact caused him grief at a time when he specifically requested that she NOT get involved.  

 

No. The idea that Hinata has been some great, supportive influence on Naruto and been there for him in critical moments is a load of crap, in my opinion.  She wants to help him, and worries obsessively over him, but her inadequacy supersedes her wishes.  

 

And more than anything, in every single circumstance before Neji's death Hinata has consistently demonstrated how little she understands who Naruto really is, what he wants, how he feels, and how he operates.  

 

It's nice that she loves him with an all-consuming kind of tunnel vision, but that doesn't say much for her in terms of her commitments and responsibilities to others -- an attitude and behavior that is contrary to Naruto's.

Sakura also have a TONS of flaws. She's the most human character in this story!

And there's even more: She not only have a lot of flaws in her persona, but she COMMITED a large number of mistakes comparing to the other characters!

 

So, there's Sakura. Despite her being his friend, Sakura is aggressive and is in love with someone else.

Sakura is depressive, sometimes unconfident, weak, not enough, easily you see her in danger and being saved/rescued by someone else, and I don't need Shakespeare to bash her.

 

Sakura is indeed flawed.  However, Sakura's flaws were and are not relevant in the context of my previous post.  I was responding to other posts about Hinata, not Sakura.

 

And discussing Hinata's flaws as a character does not constitute bashing; as a moderator of this forum I am required to know the difference.  

 

In my opinion Hinata is a dull character.  Up to this point in the story she lacks a demonstrated dimension or purpose other than to obsess about Naruto.  She is a nice girl, and I respect that other fans like her, but I will never believe that she is in any way qualified to be Naruto's partner in life.

 

For the record, quoting Shakespeare to describe Hinata's flatness of character was rather kind, comparatively speaking.

Guys, don't do that. I ship NS, but I recommend to consider NH as a potential pairing as well. It's not to fear, but just to respect. On the contrary way of SS, NH has a chance to happen and the manga has been building it's bridge since she first appeared in the story. The only thing that's left to happen is to Naruto, someway, fall in love with her. And it's not that difficult as they already admire each other. If he gives a chance, it's over. This is fiction, remember?

 

If Kishimoto were to force a scenario wherein Naruto not only abandoned the love he has cherished for Sakura since chapter 3 but he also abandoned his consistent nindo that he never gives up, AND Kishimoto were to suddenly alter Naruto's personality in order to force him to be attracted to a type of girl to which he has never shown any interest before, then yes, I concede NH is possible.

For all those panicking that Hinata being on the poster means something I will just remind you all that Hinata was heavily promoted for RtN as her AU personality and character model was so different than the norm. But in the end she really played no role in the narrative outside of 3 scenes. Hell, Naruto and Hinata barely interacted. I say all that to say that you can't go by a poster.

Yeah, this is one thing that bothers me so much about this. I even brought this up on my other post about Hinata popularity. Hinata's personality of being that shy, passive, quiet girl clashes heavily with Naruto being an open, forward, loud guy. They are absolute opposites. This isn't bashing, it is observation. Yeah, she has picked up on Naruto's nindo of never giving up, but she still does give up. The only thing she hasn't given up in is being with Naruto, but when she was fighting in the war she gave up and when Naruto was dying she gave up. She fell and just started to pray for Naruto's safety which is not something that goes with Naruto. Meanwhile, Sakura didn't just sit and cry, but tried to save his life.

I see NH fans like take the CPR scene and downright trash it saying "That's all Sakura is good for and that is her only role." Well, Hinata has even less of a role than that if they really see her like that. It is just sad how shallow even the NH fandom sees Hinata. Yeah, they praise her, but deep down all they really care about is how she loves Naruto and reduce her to pairing fodder.

Naruto, despite growing up, is still very childlike and he sometimes needs to be knocked in the right direction which is something Hinata can't do and is unwilling to do. She rather accept him for who he is instead of trying to push him farther even though Naruto himself wants to go farther.

I just wanna say this.I'm a Sakura fan and shipping NS.I can see her flaws and I respect her.No one is perfect and we're just humans.Sakura is the closest character to humanity.She has mistakes and I can criticize her and even NS.But NH fans are not like that.They can't see her flaws and they think she's perfect/NH is perfect.I hate Hinata and NH because of this.Even I like the idea of SS being canon than NH.I tried to respect Hinata and NH.But they became more arrogant and rude.They can't stand a criticism.If they could see her flaws then I can show respect to them.

Come on lol, with being a Sakura fan there's no way you could prefer SS over NH since the former utterly desecrates her character.  Hinata is annoying, one track minded outside the occasional need to improve herself and becoming more confident, but I sure rather read about her character, than the Sakura that constantly cries and begs in front of Sasuke only to end up being physically or mentally abused as a result of her feelings. SS is utterly demeaning to Sakura's character and heck women in general.

Completely right, Hinata's very character is a complete contradiction to Naruto that she is unsuitable for him as far as pairings are concerned. It's cute yes but when you factor that in, then factor that Naruto spent most of his romantic development with Sakura rather Hinata, then no, I am not going to accept NaruHina as a possible ship at this late in the game.

 

It's the same as SasuSaku. Sakura's character just doesn't match up with Sasuke as has been constantly demonstrated throughout the manga (especially during the war arc :)).

 

As I said before, to even consider NaruHina as a possible pairing at this point, then Kishimoto would have to make Naruto confess and get rejected by Sakura (part 1 / early part 2 was the perfect time for this) and then have him start seeing Hinata romantically. Doing this would also completely betray his character, as it's all about not going back on your word and never giving up, something Naruto reminded us of in 693.

 

We know Sakura's feelings for Naruto have been changed, with hints that it might be romantic. There has been NO HINTS from Naruto that his feelings have changed towards Hinata, and the same with Sasuke. He has kept those aspects of them consistent throughout the manga.

I was a SS shipper.I shipped them.Just because of Sakura.And I totally hate Hinata,I dunno but I hate her since the time she shows up.And I totally think that SS is the worst pairing but I liked them more than NH
