I promise you, I never came up with a theory about a narrative feint. It was Chatte, not me. 

I believe in what we've been shown. Naruto and Hinata are together with kids, as are Sakura and Sasuke.

Like we said, we won't be confirming who X is to protect his identity and his job. Just know that X is definitely legitimate, and involved in the movie. He never actually spoiled anything about the movie and although they were technically manga spoilers at the time, we were sure that it was NaruSaku at the time.

Anyway, if you don't believe me, I understand. I just want to give a warning because so far, a lot of the information in the leak has been true, but it hasn't been in our favor. It probably won't be a movie that we will enjoy.

 

Yup I was in on all of that too Slex, word for word. It's a shame though, we did just interpret everything wrong, but we had faith in the manga, but apparently what we read was never really important.

Well...now I know for sure that I won't be watching the movie. It's unfortunate that the manga has to end this way all for the sake of money...considering the kind of messages that this manga is supposed to send. It's sad when an artist loses his way.....

The writers persisted in providing with these literary parallels, suggestive imagery, foreshadowing, and direct quotes from additional sources that reaffirm Naruto's love for Sakura. Yet we're supposed to believe that this was all just a figment of our imagination? This almost sounds like false advertisement. Their decision is going to ostracise a number of fans who were troubled by this ending, regardless.

I don't think we were wrong to interpret it the way that we did. Like you said, we were basing our interpretations on the manga, but it turns out that none of the previous developments mattered. I'm still shocked it ended up being that way. Oh well.

I just can't believe  that they would ruin the whole story for a sake of a paring and profit  really this is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen it kittens on everything  that Kishimoto has wrote  if he was doing this in 2012  them he shouldn't have given us NS scenes at all and let Hinata the CPR ting and Kushina parallel    .  Kishimoto should never ever write manga again  what he did  is just  disgraceful its a disgrace for every author out there  trowing 690 chapters of development for the sake of money  kitten that kitten really  .

Its really sad... I never thought Kishi would ever add a whole movie focused on romance or really show the kids of pairings. I never thought he would really show so much focus on romance in the end of Naruto. It wouldve been a dream to see all this. I always hoped for something like this.... But now all of this happens in favor of SS and NH. This is really the worst that could happen.

He really goes all romance in the end and that all with NH and SS instead of NS.

Frankly, I'm almost disturbed to hear that people would choose to spend money on a movie just so they can hear the voice of one voice actress - and at the expense of the manga's dignity, no less. Now I'm beginning to wonder whose decision this was. Kishi's or the marketer's?

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Kishi honestly...money does things to people.It just sucks because he doesn't really care about the fans or his characters. He doesn't even care about Naruto. It's just the money....And I know that one little fan in Canada isn't going to change anything even she tried to contact him somehow. Oh well...my only regret is that I got into this manga in the first place.

the reviewer of that article wrote that "Naruto hold a faint love for Sakura but he will change his relationship with Hinata who hold secret feelings for him". And that article was retweeted by the official account of the movie, like they wanted to say that article hint the target.

 

It hurts, and it's all a big bs.... I know. This movie will only add more fuel to fire for us.

In your honest opinion, do you think Kishi sold out and gave in to NH/SS? Cause now that you mentioned the fact that it was a strategic move by Kishi for Sakura to have thought of Sasuke when questioned by her fodder admirer, it seems to me he didn't sell out and that this was the course of action he had in mind all along. But then again, it still begs the question: WHAT was the reason for 631 and 663? Teasing just to get our hopes up? I can understand 631 as teasing because that NS moment was executed comedically, but 663's symbolism was just too powerful for it to be a tease. Sakura literally had Naruto's heart in the palm of her hand. Not only that, but what was the reason for Sasuke putting down Sakura with insults and having no qualms about letting her die in a pit of lava? If Kishi had NH and SS in mind for all this time, why didn't he push it? Was it because it embarrassed him to write about it as it was revealed in his latest interview? I'm sorry but kitten Kishi! I can't figure him out cause he defies literary logic.

the worse thing is that Sakura could be already engaged to Sasuke at the beginning of the movie. Since he have seen the sketch of Sakura in casual clothes by Kishimoto. And she has a necklace. That could be a necklace that holds a ring? I say this because in the epilogue I have seen Shikamaru with a necklace and it had kinda like a ring.

I personally never wanted the Last Naruto movie to be a kittening love story. I'd feel to uncomfortable seeing a Shounen series that I've always associated with fighting and friendship addressing the theme of romance. If I want to see romance, I can go to Clannad or Sword Art Online where the couples are obvious from the start and you don't have to join a shipping war.

People say Naruto deserved to find love, and I agree with that. But not under these circumstances; not through a movie which is completely optional to see and is some kind of fanfic for the NaruHina and SasuSaku fans.

I can understand 631 as teasing because that NS moment was executed comedically, but 663's symbolism was just too powerful for it to be a tease.

Don't forget the strong implications that Sakura's emotionally spirited statement had about Naruto's dream of becoming Hokage being right in front of them. It tied in so well to what Itachi's speech meant as he referenced how Minato became Hokage thanks to the sacrifices and support of his wife, Kushina. Kishi couldn't have been more explicit with the context of that CPR incident.
