The Crisis Core Ultimania (pg. 24), in fact, says that Cloud had started falling in love with her long ago —

The Japanese word I’ve translated as “started” here, by the way, was “honoka” (ほのか), meaning “to be seen dimly/faintly,” as well as “subtle” or “indistinct.”

In the past, I have misunderstood this to say that Cloud had secretly fallen in love with Tifa, with the fact known only to himself. While that is true, I have since come to understand that the wording of the line itself refers more to a love that has just begun, “dim” or “weak” because of this nascent status.

As for the phrase that I’ve translated as “falling in love with,” that’s “omoi wo yoseteita” (想いを寄せていた) — a phrase meaning just that in Japanese.

So depending on how it was written in the interview it could in fact mean "Secretly" or "Beginning love" or both.

Honestly, if they kept NH\SS and at least changed Naruto being so unhappy and neglectful in this final chapter, I would be happy. I love Naruto so much, it pains to see him that way. I'm still hoping that the anime will change this aspect since it will probably have more footage.

I am  waiting for that in the movie at least.

I've just heard the movies main theme song with that depressed NH on the cover. And I loved it. Will I ever be able to listen to that song without feeling like kitten. Sigh.

I would be calmer about this community's future if there were no genjutsu theories popping like mushrooms after rain here.

Sorry still I will watch it, i need to see those two interact, even if it is not the same bond, even I need to see Sakura telling Hinata go for Naruto, i will think at least she  cares about   him.

I'd have to disagree with that, because he isn't pushing her to the side, the plot dictates that she should be somewhere else. It isn't like Kishi where he ignores situations where people can be used in favor of Naruto and Sasuke, she's just got a different place to be at the moment, which will probably be pretty huge. She might not be on panel at the moment, but that doesn't bring down her relevancy, as she will be shown here soon. Especially since she's got an emperor breathing down her spine. 

 

As for arc spotlight, I'd say that she usually has one of the central spotlights in every arc, not counting Impel Down and Marineford, for obvious reasons. Look at the last two arcs. In fishman island, she was a major part of the resolution, especially because of her backstory. She was also the plot-driver in the PH arc, as she wanted to save the kids. So she's consistently in the spotlight.

 

I think that Oda has handled all of his characters really well, especially when you consider how many he handles. I don't think that two more crew members will be that big of a deal, honestly. 

 

Lol I don't think it's doomed to be non-canon, I believe that at the end of the series, there'll be a timeskip and that Nami will be holding a mini-Luffy we just won't know any of the details. There's so many moments! The two scenes you mentioned, the scene when Luffy wrapped his neck around her at Fishman Island was hilarious. Whenever she beats the kitten out of him...so basically every moment they have  They are just too hilarious together XD

Well, a matter of opinion, I guess. I reread One Piece a lot and I see it that way, maybe I am just getting greedy since I love Nami so much. And yeah, that thing with Luffy hugging her is becoming noticeably recurring.
