lol my post got a lot more responses than I thought it would. Score.

I want to respond to them and keep this discussion flowing (it's so much easier to talk about this where it's easy to have a civilized conversation and you aren't worried about other people trying to bait you or anything), but it's hard to do when you agree with so many of the things that are said.

I'm pretty sure that a certain fandom will cheer that a certain pairing will become canon because Naruto had a flashback of the rookies when he was thinking about having friends and Hinata was there. They will think Naruto loves her.

Lol! When i saw that part the only truly looking at Naruto is Sakura in a loving/romantic way. I am just hoping that Kishi will develop the canon more the upcoming chapters cause have I have a strong feeling that Kisame will escape or will get rescued by Madara and Naruto has to return to Konoha cause he won't be safe anymore on the Island. I so hope then that they talk things out and the NS canon will be true!

With Naruto now seeing that Sakura is in love with him(it's clear in his mental image of his friends that he does, along with his interactions with Sakura from the point he rescued her from Sasuke. Very little has to be resolved to make them a completely confirmed couple.

Since Kishimoto now says he will be continuing Naruto for some time, I'm actually beginning to think we might get another parallel before the end of the manga- Sakura visibly pregnant with her and Naruto's child at the point where the battle between Naruto and Sasuke reaches it's finale.

Sakura is now nearly 17-likely only a month or so from her birthday. Oh, that reminds me- addressing an old debate point- the third databook states she's already 16, so yes, she's older than Naruto- if she was born the next year her age would been 15 in the third databook. In all three she's listed as the same age as Naruto: 12. 13. 16. So that puts a thorough kibosh on the argument she's younger than Naruto. Tsunade was born a few months before Jiraiya so there's even a parallel there. So a few readers make a big deal out of Sakura being right around 6 1/2 months older than Naruto- it's silly, and as I said Tsunade was also born earlier in the year than Jiraiya, it's another parallel, something Kishimoto absolutely loves to do.

In Naruto's world Sakura is now within the age range other female characters became pregnant- Chiyo, being as young as 16 when she had Sasori's father (and would have had to have been no older than 18 as he looked to be in his 20's when Sasori was born, Sasori was 35 when he died, Chiyo was 73, meaning she became a grandmother at only 38), Tsume Inuzuka (Hana and Kiba's mom) gave birth to Hana 4 months before she turned 18, meaning she was still 16 when she became pregnant.

I know some people, even narusaku fans would be peeved if Kishimoto went the route of having Sakura become pregnant with her and Naruto's baby some time soon, but he could easily use it to showcase a growth in Sakura's maturity and strength, becoming fiercely protective fighter for both the father of her child and her unborn child.

Not sure if he'll go this route but at this point I think it's become a plotline possibility.

yes, i saw one from NH fans who said:

i really dont know how there are still NH fans believe that NaruHina will happen,after kushina words (try not to pick a wierd one .....try to find one like your mother)i think it is the biggest hint kishi has made

I see Sakura smilling in the picture at Naruto obviously but she's not blushing. As for Hinata she's not even smiling or posing in the flashback picture, she has her head turned the other way like she was hiding. It looks more like Kishi is trying to hide her away from view but she's there if it was a hint for NH she should at least be looking at Naruto smiling at him but she had her head turned away from him like she doesn't want to see him like she hasn't changed at all same old timid Hinata. But anyway I think I'm thinking too much about this that picture didn't had any hint for NS or NH for the matter.

Yep, the light blush that she has in scenes where she either expresses or feels flirtatious or romantic feelings toward Naruto.

Well since everything pairing-wise has kinda died down (with the possible exception of 404-05), the only thing people can do is speculate what's gonna happen next, and spamming follows suit. I don't think it's been all that bad though, kind of been kept under control.

@ciardha - Actually, I've pictured a similar scenario myself happening near the seires' climax, say during the final battle in the series. Though I'd say that, rather than being shown heavily pregnant (like 7-9 months or so), Sakura will only be about 3-4 weeks along, but she would give clues (like a verbal hint or by placing a hand on her stomach), that would let readers know she was expecting a child. Of course we should all know who's the dad...

Sigh. It is how Kishimoto draws Sakura's light blush. Look at her eyes they have a bottom line, look at other character's eyes, do you see a double line defining the bottom of their eyes? No you don't. Now go back to meduim shot images of Sakura blushing over Naruto in other chapters- same lines on her cheeks.

I'm with you firey. I zoomed in on it and it is her bottom eyelid. Kishi drew the bottom eyelid darker for both Hinata and Tenten. Ino's eye is covered with text XD She's a girl and her eyes are usually well defined, thus it is darker. Sakura does look cute there tho~

@ciardha i really see sakura getting pregnant not with the current ninja war an naruto on everyones hit list. But i could easily see it at the end i have watched a few movies with that ending. honestly i would be disapointed with the lack of sakura kicking @$$
i will agree that's clearly a bluish no one else has it.

That's a heck of a bad zoom then. Wow, she's sprouting eyelashes two inches away from the bottom line of her eyes on her cheek bone. Guess that's what that dark line is on Konohamaru's face at the same place

Sakura and Konohamaru both have second lines defining the bottom of their eyes; they're similar distances from the iris' because both are glancing up. Those darker lines on Konohamaru are his usual blush-marks. Notice how Sakura doesn't have any lines in the same position on her face?

And in regard to your comment on how "that's how Kishimoto draws Sakura's blush", here are some examples of when she really is blushing.

don't exaggerate sakura's eyes r clearly to shown to have dark think lashes and those ARE her bottom lashes if it was a blush it would be an inch below near HER NOSE and cheeks not near her eyes......
