It could be as you said, but then I'd expect the knock back of using it to be really high. Personally, I thought that it would offer him slightly less speed than gear second, and exchange that for enough power to be barely less than gear 3. I wouldn't mind your way, either, that would be sick as kitten. I'm hoping that there might be some kind of coc incorporation in it as well, that would be really cool.

i really hope it doesn't dramatically affect his health. like i hope the only drawbacks is a lot of calories burned or something lol. and yes, i definitely want to see coc incorporated in gear 4.

I kinda expect Doflamingo to not take his 4th gear completely serious at first, and then get wrecked by it and start to get pushed back because of it. I think at some point Doflamingo will panic.

i hope doffy really doesn't underestimate luffy when he pulls out gear 4. i expect luffy to look even more intimidating than gear 2nd form. i think it will be more than just steam that will make luffy look threatening.

that's why i'm hoping that gear 4 will include full body coa. i want a nightmare looking luffy so badly, but not as buff.

this break may be as painful as the break that happened when the timeskip was announced, solely due to the fact that this is freaking gear 4th!

the anime really nailed this scene down. really showed how badass luffy is, even when the enemy is light years ahead of him.

Idk, I think it would have to have a draw back at some point, especially because he probably hasn't used it often, and he hasn't used it against a high caliber opponent. So it's kind of an untested trump card at this point.

True, but Roger died young too. Luffy is the type to get everything out of every moment. When he dies, he probably will have had led a more full life than any other character in the series, so I'm sure he won't regret it.

Until Teach proves otherwise, yes, I think Shamks is the strongest. Shanks beat Kaido on his way to the war, and damn near everybody at the war kitten themselves when they saw shanks. Even a relatively healthy Sengoku (honestly, I would say full health Sengoku) was nervous about his arrival. You can't discount that.

That's a good point. His face at the end also showed a bit of concern. You're probably right.

Don't remind me, I miss Whitebeard WB put that ass whopping on Akainu though, I loved every second of that.

It's possible. If not admiral power level, then maybe just a hair below, if only because we're not entirely sure about how strong Fujitora is in relation to the other admirals. Destroying the birdcage is definitely up there in feats though.

but being big also has a flaw, as he has too many opening as doffy pointed out. if he's going to be big, then he need to but fast as well.

I think getting faster is for 5th gear when he combine 4th gear(if I'm correct) the power 2nd gear with giant form. It gonna be awesowe if 4th gear incorporating with the 2nd gear speed.

I think luffy will become as big as giant, not hulkification.

Honestly, Luffy got me hyped in his idea. My first thought was that gear four would be a full body coa mixed with gear 2, so that he would be on fire the whole time. Luffy's idea is what I though gear 5 would have been, but either one works for me. As long as he strikes fear in the heart of Doffy

a compressed gear 3rd with the speed of gear 2 with haki coating all over his body. seriously, luffy should be close to mastery over his df to do something as simple as that.
