Kakashi kill kakuzu because kishi doesn't want naruto to kill.
It has something to do with shonen hero doesn't kill policy.
Kakuzu doesn't need to be killed actually. They can extract any valuable information from him. And then killed after that.

I really doubt it. Tnj modus operandi need a similarity between naruto and his victim. The more similarity between them, the more successful tnj will become.You never know.
