Yeah i hope so it's getting annoying when basically every chapter on the middle of the discussion people start posting vj,sawyer or whatever vlogger it is.

Sakura is in the middle of what we call an emotional triangle. She cares for Naruto right now, probably more than she ever has. She knows he loves her. She didn't confirm or dent the girlfriend comment because it would have given too much information one way or another honestly. Not only does Kishi not want that but I don't think Sakura, as a character, wants people all up in her emotional business either.

I've said this before but I'll say it again. Sakura needs to deal with her Sasuke baggage and this is the precise reason SasuSaku isn't dead. I mean it's on the chopping block, but it's not like NaruHina which is in Titanic status at the moment. Honestly, NaruSaku cannot progress any further until Sakura deals with her Sasuke business.

It really is her time to shine in all respects. Combat-wise and Development-wise it's all coming down to how she handles things in the next chapters.

Now we just need to see where her feelings stands or kishi will put it on the sidelines since i got surprised by the fact she didnt blush or give any hints that she's in love with Sasuke most basically like she's on the middle of the "move on" process, like she put both Naruto and Sasuke into a balance.

I think it's her time to shine, the good part it is related to Naruto, mostly proving herself to him that she's not a weak girl that he has to look for, i think give way more reasons for him to not move on.

That should be the last time we see her cry about it. I'm totally picturing this montage moment of all their past moments together and then this final frame of her going "Goodbye...Sasuke..." It will be glorious.

I think with this she surpassed Hinata on the stuff she did to him, Sakura healed him and now is going to fight at hsi side without any kind of powerup from Naruto.
about she moving on i dont know for some reason i think she will just come to Naruto and say that she loves him, Naruto is not bound to the promise so if she says that she loves him, Naruto will likely to accept because all the walls, and his mindset is broken now, she can say i love you and he will accept, Sasuke is there, actually is everything too easy and a perfect set-up for trolling so i'm still putting my expectatives low until Kishimoto shows what is the result of 540.
Only good things happened when i put my expectatives low.

As for the girlfriend comment, just standard usual NaruSaku humor, but it was to set the reveal for Kushinas "find someone like your mother line." Its done in that sense. Sakura can turn away from Sasuke, if Kishi is pulling this surprising hidden power from her, well I believe he can do it as ending SasuSaku as friendship.

How will the fight for hokage turn out? This is perhaps the easist thing of all: Sasuke will see that Itachi put his faith in Naruto, Naruto will prove himself in this fight, this will be the thing to finally have Sasuke acknowledge him. Remember, this is actually adding more reason for Naruto to fulfill his dream, Sasuke is his goal, now that his goal is within his dream, its only in their fight, should they draw or Naruto actually beats Sasuke, Sasuke finally will acknowledge Naruto and set the stage of him having saved his friend, fulfilling the promise, worthy of becoming hokage, and finally confessing to Sakura.

Sakura's feelings can be revealed a bit more throughout this current fight as well. After this fight, its just Naruto vs Sasuke and then we get to the resolution of the story and the ending at last. Now I'm going to look at the build up thread to be reminded of why this is such a fun pairing.

Actually, I picture Sasuke saying something nice when it comes to NS. I could see him actually pushing Sakura to pursue Naruto when she does resolve her feelings and her telling him thanks or something along those lines with a smile. I wouldn't mind something like that.

LOL Right now he is, but we'll see how things pan out over time. He's a jerk yes, but I think even he would push Sakura when the time comes. Not right now though.

There's a lot of speculation as to what the whole girlfriend comment and Naruto's reaction ment, but I feel like we need to focus on the bigger victory here. Minato clearly said Sakura is like Kushina and his expression makes it clear he approves of her.

It's true nothing much has changed between Naruto and Sakura but nothing NEEDS to change for it to be cannon. They are selfless towards each other and they make each other happy. They've both shown clear attraction for the other in the past, so it's not like there's no desire to be together. Face it, our pairing was in great shape before this chapter, and what really mattered about this is that we can confirm that Kushina's advice has come true. Naruto has found a girl like his mother, and so he has made both his parents proud. While Naruto may not be like his father, that doesn't really matter. Kushina's advice was to find someone like her, not for Naruto to be like his father. So even if NaruSaku doesn't equal MinaKushi, at least we know that Sakura equals Kushina.

So our greatest victory here is that we gained two brand new NaruSaku fans, Minato and Kushina. I feel like Kishi has been trying REALLY hard to convey this and finally he just decided "That's it! If you really don't get it yet, then I'll just draw Minato HIMSELF making the comparison, then none of you can argue it!"

Well this is the fight Sasuke will lose, Naruto has discovered the reasons to be hokage throughout the entire journey, it will be the aspects he learned such as from Gaara, Tsunade, Nagato, Obito (truth of Itachi), and Itachi himself, he will use all he learned in his journey to hokage to beat Sasuke. Its simple, Madara wanted to do it all himself and look how he turned out. Sasuke is still arrogant, this final battle is not just a simple title or idealogy battle, its a symbolic one too. Naruto will tell Sasuke everything, Sasuke loses and acknowledges Naruto as his equal at last. Sakura won't fight, but she will back Naruto, this is definite.

The Sakura-Kushina parallel is the win as Branden said though, it can expand too if something with the forehead compliment comes forward or right before Minato leaves, he tells Naruto he listened to his mother. The Kushina stuff is ours, we win this one. The rest can slowly follow now. Kishi may pull a few things, but we know he put the Kushina stuff here for a reason building on the find someone like your mother speech. Its all got to lead somewhere.

I would really enjoy seeing Sakura use Slug Sage mode as well. It would increase all of her stats, including strength and speed. If Naruto's ability to career from the top of Gamabunta's head all of the way to the ground to destroy Asura Path whilst being only centimetres away from Tsunade is any indication of the enhancements SM in general provides then she should become quite fast.

Haha yeah! Honestly, I did not expect AT ALL that Minato would draw the comparison between Sakura and Kushina in this chapter—only right before he disappeared. I definitely predicted he would think Sakura was Naruto's girlfriend, thank her, tell her to take care of his son, but not the parallel confirmation, because I thought that would be way too obvious. So I think Kishi probably realised that so many people were denying the parallel, so he finally he was just like, "kitten it! If you people don't get it with all the clues I've given you, I'll just have Minato outright SAY it! Try to argue against that now!"

I have a feeling Kishi will return to Kakashi and Obito before going with team seven in the battlefield. I think it will be better if he finally settles their fight. I give it 2 chapters tops because I just know Kakashi will reveal to Obito something big like Rin's last words (I am seriously hoping it will be that she love him all along and what she felt for Kakashi wasn't real love, this will make ObiRin another parallel to NS).

Naruto takes from both of his parents. The problem is that his standard state of emotion is the energetic one which is more associated with Kushina. But when Naruto becomes serious about matters you can see that he adopts the personality of Minato when the need arises.

Not to mention that Naruto has being ridiculously paralleled with Minato throughout the entire series. Even in 631 Sakura takes notice of how he's similar to Naruto when he entered kyuubi mode.

As of this chapter it's official, NaruSaku is a MinaKushi in the making.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm looking forward to Sakura knocking the Juubi out with some super charge sage mode strength. Given that Tsunade already had an awesome technique, Sakura's is bound to be even better! What with the whole "surpass the previous generation" thing.
