I don't believe in genjutsu theories about the movie, but if there is one thing I am certain of it is that - if we saw a single interaction between adult Naruto and Sakura, the whole illusion of NH and SS world would have crumbled at the spot. Even if the author tried to keep NH and SS intact, it would have deformed into something even more ugly than it is now and consumed itself. Even if that reality wasn't meant to be a genjutsu, it would have broken into pieces to show a new one, because Sakura and Naruto just have this undeniable connection that is written in gold and overshadows every other relationship around it.
That is the exact reason why we never saw Naruto and Sakura's interaction in the last two chapters.
What I missed the most in the last chapter was Naruto's smile that is as big as the sun. The one he shows all the time around Sakura (and never around part 2 Hinata), even in 699. That smile and a single " Sakura-chan" would have made everything else a genjutsu and broken it.

I wish I would have read this a week ago.

That place is a freaking Cesspool of illiterates. You don't go through extreme means for a "crush" you don't look heart broken when they look upset for a "crush" if Naruto believes that his feelings are deep, why the kitten can't they take his words and actions for it?

Oda will never trash Nami or push her to the sidelines. She's too damn important to Luffy for that to even happen. Id put her next to Zoro in terms of importance of the crew. I honestly don't think I've ever been disappointed with how Oda has written her, I think he's handled her character excellently. She's smart, strong, and kittening hilarious. What's your favorite LuNa moment?

He already pushed her to the sidelines and she remains there now, in this arc especially (and no, good excuse doesn't change that she is not present currently at all). At least in my perspective. She did almost nothing in recent arcs, not counting Luffy and Ace centered ones obviously where her absence was justified (there were no Strawhats). I'd say that compared to Zoro and Usopp she is pushed to the sidelines to the level of secondary major characters and handled almost like Robin and Brook now in terms of spotlight time. Even though she is not a battle character, it never stopped Oda to give her central plot roles before - hell, bigger than Zorro's for crying out loud. Remeber beautiful Skypea plot - it still brings tears to my eyes. I think Nami's relevance to the story slowly diminished in recent years, I would say that the last big arc of her was the Thriller Bark arc.

Don't get me wrong - Nami is one of Luffy's most important crew members if not the most important. Their special bond is undeniable and beautiful. She is still the one Strawhat to get special treatment all the time. But it doesn't change the fact that we get less and less of her panel-wise and relevance-wise.

I blame it all to the number of characters Oda pushed himself to handle. Too many Strawhats in the crew, too many important side characters. He struggles to give them all relevance. I think that he gave up in the current arc and had to seperate them into two teams to make it possible to move the story forward without forgetting about people or over-stretching the plot.

I just can't compare Nami's relevance in every arc before Thriller Bark to the ones after it, especially post-timeskip. It is like night and day. I am very angry.

 

And yes, she is the best written shounen heroine in my eyes and I read quite a lot of shounen. Favorite moment? There's so many! (not bad for the most doomed to be non-canon solid pairing ever). Well, putting aside the famous masterpiece Aarlong arc moment with the knife that pushed me to sell my soul to this ship, I'd say it was the moment when she jumped across the roofs to get to him in Water 7 with the giant wave coming. It was very Robin-centric, but it was so strong. Maybe it is just the current preference, I've reread that arc recently.

but they can't freaking change the fact that he loved sakura for 699 chaps

She never said Naruto nedeed to avoid Jiraiya. She said that he needed to be careful. That's not the underneath of the underneath. Kushina meant exactly what she said. Kushina guessed all the future problems he could have because she "was his mother", but more because Kishimoto prepared them to play a big role.
 
The thing is, lady, that his nindo is "never give up", "don't get back in my word", if he does the opposite is bad writing and an inconsistency. He is supposed, then, to accomplish everything he wanted after making a big effort, doesn't matter if the other part is not interested at the beginning. Introducing that "nindo" as something charasteristic of the character, preparing it to play a role for all over the manga and not ending it as how it was presented? Bad writing. Not that we didn't get it, but that Kishimoto failed.

This is the most hurtful thing possible. The biggest lie, but if SP or Kishimoto push it to justify the ending it will be the final straw. I will rage. I will throw furniture. My faith in humanity will suffer an enormous blow. I don't know, I will be as powerless as I am now, but....

Because someone who has a light crush on you would be willing to risk his life making a crazy ass promise to you. Someone who has a light crush on you would push himself to his limits just to save your life. Like...I'm completely okay with people being happy about their ship, but to go so far as to downplay significant moments like that is just disgusting.

Gaara's hair is acceptable.   The most acceptable thing about the epilogue. With the exception of Lee being...Lee.

Its not that they are blind...They're stupid and biased. They can't see past Hinata's boobs and static character. That's pretty much what she is, she never changes, or develops. She's stationary in the fact that she satellites around Naruto and nowhere else. 

 

Pretty much Everything they have, we had first and we had more and better instances of it. Excluding kids apparently.
