I have my last hope in chatte's theory,even the japanese are saying the same thing.I won't watch the movie but ask here if NS is canon.

Believe me or not....but....it still pricks my conscience on how Kishi ended stuff. I mean....with the characterisation of Naruto....we can make out that Kishi sure has seen and observed some things in life which he has depicted into the manga. Regarding just the ideology and philosophical part in general.....we can make out that Kishi's got a fairly good Spiritual Quotient and due to this....I find it really hard to believe that he really did kitten on his own ending!

It's kind of funny and sad, that without Sakura - Naruto's character looks like other person.

 

We can say the same thing for Sakura.

I don't believe in genjutsu theories about the movie, but if there is one thing I am certain of it is that - if we saw a single interaction between adult Naruto and Sakura, the whole illusion of NH and SS world would have crumbled at the spot. Even if the author tried to keep NH and SS intact, it would have deformed into something even more ugly than it is now and consumed itself. Even if that reality wasn't meant to be a genjutsu, it would have broken into pieces to show a new one, because Sakura and Naruto just have this undeniable connection that is written in gold and overshadows every other relationship around it.

That is the exact reason why we never saw Naruto and Sakura's interaction in the last two chapters.

What I missed the most in the last chapter was Naruto's smile that is as big as the sun. The one he shows all the time around Sakura (and never around part 2 Hinata), even in 699. That smile and a single " Sakura-chan" would have made everything else a genjutsu and broken it.

I'm sorry, but I only know what the person told me. I'm just gonna quote what the person said:

"here's a few artists even here in japan that are saying they are gonna do a proper ending, of course non canonical one for the series. Just some alternate takes on it. Which I am going to welcome."

IMO he was forced to, he gave up, and sold out because he wanted to do something else. In 15 years you change a lot. 15 years it's long. What he wanted strongly in the beginning maybe wasn't so important for him in the end... maybe he thought that fans would be happier like that.

To me it's clear that it's not his own decision.

Yeah. After this Kishi betrayal I am waiting to see Luffy run to catch fainting Boa while Nami burns in flames or is stabbed multiple times or something.
Just kidding. My faith in Oda is unshakeable. I know he might (and will) push Nami further to the sidelines and forget about her, but he will never betray the Strawhat bond. I will still see Nami and more LuNa in color spreads, what more do I need.

Oda will never trash Nami or push her to the sidelines. She's too damn important to Luffy for that to even happen. Id put her next to Zoro in terms of importance of the crew. I honestly don't think I've ever been disappointed with how Oda has written her, I think he's handled her character excellently. She's smart, strong, and kittening hilarious. What's your favorite LuNa moment?
