Are any of you guys still considering watching this movie?

No. It will be more hurtful and make me angry. Since sakura already wanted to leave with sasuke and she has forgiven him, there doesn't need to be resolution for me. There is nothing sakura can say that will make it better. She is with a that tried to kill her, that there is bs. Plus it's been two years. They would've resolved it before two years. The movie is so ooc!

The more I think of it, did SP get to pick the couples they want for part 3?

Wow I'm surprised there is still so much discussion going on about the movie.

 

I've just given up on it. the more I think about it the more filler it feels, We have a 'never refered to in the manga' flashback, the two years to make a move but only now making her move Hinata, I mean come on is Kishi really telling us the confession during Pains invasion wasn't even resolved. And last we have the setting, it's never once snowed in Konoha, and Naruto has never worn a scarf, yet here we have both situations for convenience, it just screams filler.

 

Edit: Lets not forget the enemy hiding away on the moon for a thousand years and only deciding to years after the whole thing is resolved, why didn't they actually do anything when Madara actually stole the Body of the ten tails? Or if they were in cahoots with the Black Zetsu why not come to help when the war was going on?

It's things like this that makes me wonder how much actual thought went into this plot

Does the script end with Unicron devouring Kohana and killing everyone from Naruto to Hinata to Sasuke to Sakura to all the supporting cast. Because if not, no.

You know there is supposedly a movie manga that Kishi drew related to the movie that will be released with it so we may get that when it comes out instead of having to wait 9 months and wait exclusively for spoilers.

Sadly enough their movie was RTN which I'm gonna consider the best Naruto movie ever. I thought that The Last was gonna surpass it, but seeing how things turned out int 699 and 700 I completely lost faith in it.

The beginning "OoC" of RtN is nothing compare to what we about to see.

Not really. The movie will focus on how Naruto and Hinata fell in love. Hell, sakura is shown to be encouraging Hinata to give Naruto his red scarf.

Guys do you think the Japanese fandom will see the movie? They weren't happy with the ending of the manga. In fact they should boycott the movie by not watching it, make it have horrible sales becoming "the worst Naruto movie" since the manga has the record for"worst manga ending".

I haven't seen japanese's fans reactions, but I'm almost sure the movie will be less profitable than RTN for one simple reason: The movie's centered around NH -> Nh not so popular in Japan -> not a big success. There will surely be people who will watch it, a lot surely, but less than some better Naruto movies like RTN.

 

Speaking of a comparaison RTN/The Last, even if The Last is really canon, RTN looks more canon, I'm not even talking about the couple, but just the story itself fit more in Naruto's atmosphere, The Last is too focused on love to stay a shonen movie, I mean Naruto was barely focused on love and now its last movie is all about that. It doesn't fit the mood of the manga. 

 

EDIT: I'm talking about romantic love when I say it wasn't too focused on in the whole manga. General love was a big part of the manga.

I just wish I knew what the point was to release Naruto's and Sakura's sketches together... it's totally awkward at this point to think what their screwed up relationship will be :S

Those words hit the nail on the head. It's so ironic how a movie that's largely considered to be part of the anime's brand of canon is admired for its consistency over a movie that is, by and large, an intermediary device used to help fill in the blanks with the characters and the Narutoverse as we saw it in the epilogue.

Now with this movie Kishimoto wants to NH in the throats of the Japanese fans which will be very hard. Because they highly believed a 15 year old developed pairing that was more believable and made more sense than a pairing that was done "off panel". Sorry Kishi one chapter of NH development and off panel development isn't enough to make a pairing believable. Not even a 90 minute movie I hope the Japanese fans don't watch it.
