So she realizes that his feelings are so strong and then she thinks he doenst have them anymore... Ok makes sense.
Naruto never told her that he gave up on the promise. Also he did enough even before like you said he gave up that promise that should be thank worthy. Face it shes nothing more then heartless in the last chapter

You know what was Kishi's ultimate troll?That girlfriend scene.It was basically setup to mislead NS fans into reading further

 

When you really think about it and look back on part 2 as a whole Kishi was a troll from the very beginning (ex. Naruto coming back from "training" with Jiraiya for 3 years only to come back with NOTHING new to show for it). Not to mention the humiliation of Naruto for Sasuke's sake being one of the worst pieces of literary choices ever by a writer.

 

The bottom line is this, if a story (fictional or whatever) doesn't make SENSE then people will stop feeling connected to it a la the characters which was EXACTLY was happened in part 2. By then end of the manga there was no true sense of joy or elation cuz the main characters suck for SOOO long that it's hard to remember why you cared about them in the beginning. In my case the only character I ended up caring about was Naruto (and maybe Kakashi) but everyone else, meh...

l don't understand what "Sakura shouldn't be forced to love Naruto" means. lf you ever supported NS, you indirectly wanted her to be "forced to love Naruto". Sakura isn't a real life person with free will. She's a fictional character whose actions, thoughts, feelings are entirely controlled by a man, her creator Kishimoto. She's not a feminist icon or anything, no matter who she ends up with. l'm really tired of that rhetoric that's often used by SS fans, calling us Nice Guys, misogynistic losers because we think Sakura was awful in these final chapters.

 

Even if she doesn't love Naruto, she could at least have talked to him, thanked him, ackowledged him in any way. lnstead he immediately disappeared for her as soon as Sasuke came back. ln my opinion it's the worst betrayal of themes in this manga and it tainted every NS prior interactions. lt didn't just kill Sakura for me, it also killed NS for good.

umm no she doesnt realize they are strong. She just knows that she feels something towards him. Naruto on the other hand had so much time to bring up the promise fulfilling which he didn't....makes sense. And I'm not blaming this on naruto. It's Kishi s fault for having so many loose ends in the story. Also naruto may not have said he'd given up on it but he did say that he was doing it for his own reasons when sakura brought it up. He neither said that he was still keeping it or letting it go. So I'd rather not make any assumptions about sakura should know that he still was keeping the promise or whatever.

So your basically saying. Since Naruto once said that hes not only doing it for Sakura but also because he wants to bring Sasuke back on his own, it means that Sakura is just like"well, hes not only doing it for me, so in the end i dont have to thank him for bringing him back, even if its also for me. why should i thank him for promising me to bring him back?"

 

Also how should she think that naruto didnt want to keep the promise anymore? It was a promise of a lifetime.

Naruto shouldnt have to bring the promise up. Sakura should remember well enough the time when he promised to her. So she should also realize that this promise is fullfield as soon as Sasuke is back.

Guess why shes got a daughter with Sasuke? Becuase of Naruto. She did nothing for it.

Wow I'm surprised there is still so much discussion going on about the movie.

 

I've just given up on it. the more I think about it the more filler it feels, We have a 'never refered to in the manga' flashback, the two years to make a move but only now making her move Hinata, I mean come on is Kishi really telling us the confession during Pains invasion wasn't even resolved. And last we have the setting, it's never once snowed in Konoha, and Naruto has never worn a scarf, yet here we have both situations for convenience, it just screams filler.

 

Edit: Lets not forget the enemy hiding away on the moon for a thousand years and only deciding to years after the whole thing is resolved, why didn't they actually do anything when Madara actually stole the Body of the ten tails? Or if they were in cahoots with the Black Zetsu why not come to help when the war was going on?

In the end the main girl asks her sensei what she should do about Naruto ( MC of the story) and his rival ( her childhood crush) bc both were having a final battle at the moment, and the girl was still drowning in doubt about what she should do!!

 

The sensei however asks her, who is is the one who makes her trully happy, then she thinks of naruto.

I believe this is how sakura' doubts were supposed to end

guys the interview about kishimoto not being able to go on his honeymoon was real, it was talked about after chapter 700 in the official release, so I guess you could say we were right about road to ninja being what he wished the series could be and he just did this ending so he could finally end the series even if it was rushed and spend time with his family, so mostly likely these new series are like naruto's version of gt, which means maybe someday kishi will come back to it and continue it and give us the true ending. in fact what he said in his comment in the mangaka comments was:

 

 "With the final chapter finally here, I have conflicted emotions. I feel both happy and sad. The only thing I'm completely sure of is the gratitude I feel towards the readers. Thank you for supporting me until the end. Otsukaresama, believe it! "

I've promised my best friend who lives in Germany to watch it with her together live over Skype once The Last is online. But now that I know the ending and the plot already... How can I keep that promise?! She's a NaruHina fan, so she will love the movie, but to me it will be too painful to watch this asspull fanfiction for 110 min. I already thought that the movie was BS when I heard about the moon crushing down... Some people are even expecting Naruto and Hinata to kiss 

*sigh* I'm so kittened up. If it weren't for my best friend, I would never watch the movie.

It's just that Naruto is very important to both of us. I used to live in Germany, you see. Moved over to the US three years ago, but nevertheless we are still best friends. We always sent each other Naruto fanarts, discuss the newest chapters, and are both hyped about a new opening or ending for the anime. We both got into Naruto at the same time, so we decided to end it at the same time, too.

So in the end, my friendship is more important to me than some kind of stupid NaruHina moment ;) (Hopefully, I won't regret what I just said, otherwise I'm just a hypocrite).
