Yeah You can't obligate a person to fall in love with another, but the manga is showing that they will so they should end up toghether. Sakura is a romance based character, so it was clear that she would either end up with Naruto or Sasuke in the end. Well during part 2 it was clear she wouldnt end up with Sasuke, So it should be obvious that she was going to be with Naruto since it was the onyl way to keep her development.

That DIDNT happen.... kitten writing

The way Sakura was portrayed in the last chapter, was horrible she lost all developmetn and made her look like a hearthless b*tch to Naruto.

The development for our pairing indicated that it would be the most developed pairing, hence perfect from a writing perspective. But that's not the problem. What if Kishimoto didn't mean NS to be romantic? (I mostly disagree with this, but meh) And he developed her bond because they were main characters?

Once again, is not Sakura's fault, is Kishimoto's. The only thing that bothers me is Sasusaku, because...if Naruto didn't blame Sakura, why would you?

All it would have taken for Sakura to keep a shred of her dignity would be Salada coming to visit her at what was clearly a hospital.  Even if Sakura was still cleaning, she should have been cleaning her office, and instead of an apron, should have had on a lab coat.

"Get married, have babies, and become a housewife" is not how any of the successful female ninja were ever shown in the manga.

And that is why fans have hated sakura. NH only got popular due to all the sakura fan girling for sasuke. Kishi wrote her in a corner.

She was suppose to move on from a negative love that was shallow.

I dont see a reason to add obvious romantic moments between two characters especiall from Narutos side, if he just wants to give character development. If he just wanted development, he should have left their bond on part 1 level. Of course Naruto doesnt blame Sakura, its not in his character as well as he already made the POAL with the expection that it would end like that. But not the readers. the readers believe in a happy end

You and I :D I can't see it either, but what IF? That's why I said I mostly don't agree on that. To be honest, when I came here, I didn't think of Narusaku as romantic. :v But you guys practically forced me to (?) And then I discovered the parallels  :zaru:

I believe he changed his mind at some moment after RTN.

Sakura held on to sasuke the same way naruto did. The problem isn't that she did that. Her character was not ruined because she didn't end up with naruto because that is a disgusting conclusion. Her character went down the drain because her attitude towards sasuke i.e the fangirling did not change when it should have.

Yeah her character was ruined because just hours after Sasuke tried to kill her best friend--not to mention stabs her through the chest via gengjutsu and treated everyone like kitten--Sakura STILL puts on the drooling face and asks to leave the village with Sasuke.
It is truly her most disgusting moment.
And inconsistent because the Sakura we came to knew in Shippuden had major self-respect and wouldn't have acted that way.

But why would you do that?

To mock your reader?

For what?!

NS is real. The last 2 chapters never happened for me, because everyone is OOC, Naruto is a instant-Ramen-Alcohol addict who beats his kids and tells them to suck it up, Sakura is a reserved houswife (who takes care of Sasuke and Karins child, lol) and Hinata got everything she wanted because everyone likes shy and reserved stalkers.

I still can't belive it. I refuse to.

"We live in a world that is so quick to convince us to ignore our feelings. Feeling stressed? Get a massage. Feeling angry? Go to the bar with your friends and blow off steam. Feeling lonely? Meet someone in cyberspace and have a conversation on the computer. Depressed? Take a pill. Anxiety? Take 2 pills. Feeling happy? Well, by George, don’t talk about that because no one likes a bragger. Same with being sad, no one likes a Debbie Downer. But, heaven FORBID, that you actually TALK about your feelings and process them in a healthy way."

Thats not the only problem. Its also that she doesnt seem to care about naruto at all. Shes like :" i dont care how naruto feels when i leave with his best friend, leaving behind naruto alone in the village even though i know that he loves me and did everything for me. Talking about a selfless sakura.

Except that's just it. Sakura doesn't have a clear understanding of how naruto feels because she found out from someone else about his feelings and then when taken up with him he doesn't even say if it's true. He just accuses her of lying. Therefore sakura doesnt owe naruto anything. She doesnt have to think about feelings that may not even exist. What naruto should have done is cleared things up with her which kishi did not make him do. The sad thing about sakura wanting to leave is that she would leaving her family and friends behind. She would be leaving her career life and all the progress she made as a medic behind. Basically she went back to her part on self where all she wanted was sasuke.

Why Kishi did that? Sakura, Hinata, Sasuke stayed with their ideals, then why just Naruto the one has to move on? This reminds me Saint Seiya Omega, Seiya the God killer, the one always stand up, in the end was defeated.

Yeah, it was, considering that Naruto said 'more or less' when Minato asked Naruto if it was his girlfriend.

URH! I hope they won't ever mention MinaKushi in this movie, it's a NaruSaku copyright

Sai told her that naruto really loves her and of course naruto says she lies to herself, because in the end thats exactly what it is. She lied to herself, so she should know that naruto still loves, since he simply said the truth. Its not like naruto denied his love for her with this words. So in the end it should be clear to her that he still loves her. Especially after he called her his girlfriend.

except not denying something doesn't men he confessed that he actually did. Also obviously sakura is not really his girlfriend so she may have taken it as naruto just being the goofy naruto he is.

Sakura shouldve known that naruto loves her even without sai telling her. It was pretty obvious even sai could tell it and that alone means a lot. Even if she didnt know that naruto have feelings for her, she wouldve just left him alone and also didnt even thank naruto for keeping the promise.

So its not just her still loving sasuke that ruins her character

except she didn't know about the strength of his feelings hence why she was so shocked. Almost all the moments that could have shown that sakura didn't realize or she was unconscious (gaara arc). The same for naruto when it came to her feelings. Also sakura wanted naruto to give up on the promise because she believed she was hurting him with it. Also naruto didn't bring it up again when she was awake. Therefore why would she? To her that promise is gone

So she realizes that his feelings are so strong and then she thinks he doenst have them anymore... Ok makes sense.
Naruto never told her that he gave up on the promise. Also he did enough even before like you said he gave up that promise that should be thank worthy. Face it shes nothing more then heartless in the last chapter

umm no she doesnt realize they are strong. She just knows that she feels something towards him. Naruto on the other hand had so much time to bring up the promise fulfilling which he didn't....makes sense. And I'm not blaming this on naruto. It's Kishi s fault for having so many loose ends in the story. Also naruto may not have said he'd given up on it but he did say that he was doing it for his own reasons when sakura brought it up. He neither said that he was still keeping it or letting it go. So I'd rather not make any assumptions about sakura should know that he still was keeping the promise or whatever.
