hoooho. great post narusaku4life3g. i agree with that completely. i also think kishi dont think that seriously about hinata. cuz everytime he puts hinata into the story he makes it short. like in chunin exam just one flashback for hinata. in pain arc just show off. even in the end sakura hugged naruto and naruto totally forgot about hinata. and now for only 2 episodes there was hinta with naruto holding his hands and giving a boaring but persuading speech. haha. so its not that serious matter.

Honestly, after 616, I'm convinced that Kishi is not serious with her but does please the fans with her development. I don't think he is serious with NaruHina at all because we should have already Naruto's increased feeling for Hinata, but always feel like he never moved. Last time he did was back in part 1, telling her she's not weird. Honestly, chapter 616 was his big opportunity to establish how much she cares for her, yet we got Team 7 color spread, let alone confirming Sakura is the heroine, end of story. All we need now is one NS moment and the whole NH is, to me, over. They claimed that Naruto has changed and loves Hinata now. We'll see. We. Shall. See.

Actually, that would seem more like a compliment. When you rage and uses power that go against everyone, that's bad. When you remain calm and main prioritize to save a love one, then it's good. Here's the thing: Naruto was scared of Gaara and couldn't move at all. Now when the situation got worse with Sakura being involved, there's no way he can stay scare and run away. He unleashed his hidden potential. Haku's words was finally put in test and the result is significant. He was on the verge of losing, but Sakura keeps popping his head. He summoned a Gamabunta with a low chakra. That's incredible. You can tell his eyes was nothing but determination. When you reread it, it's incredible how much work Kishi did with Naruto's expressions, especially when he was trapped, then look at Sakura, then look at Gaara with a determined face. Let's not forget how much Naruto was happy after Sakura is finally saved.

You got to remember: Naruto's seal was already weaken since Jiraiya's training, so it can be easily triggered. Naruto already said that he didn't want to lose anymore people, so it's not that he loves Hinata, she's his friend. Pretty much, anyone can trigger it. He tried keep it cool when he saw Konoha being destroyed, but when he witness "death" of his friend, his emotion couldn't hold it anymore. In short, anyone can fill in but Hinata is used because of development.

Oh no, there's a lot of moments. One person posted all panels of NaruSaku and let me tell you, there are tons. Compare to other two, it's not even half of amount of NaruSaku moments. Heck, we have one person did a recap of all NaruHina moments and there were little as well as not romantic. Some can be but never from Naruto. You may be doubting because of this arc, but don't worry, once it happens, it's game, set, and match for NH.

I totally agree , but to be fair , the situations are a bit different . In the Pain arc he actually thinks that Hinata is dead (still his reaction would have been the same if it had been any other k11 ) , while with Gaara he is fighting to prevent Sakura from being killed . If Gaara had actually killed Sakura then , or at least if Naruto had been lead to believe so , then his reaction would probably have been the same .. instant kyuubi mode and Gaara would now be dead .

Oh I know that. I'm saying that just because he went 6-tails because of Hinata's "death" doesn't mean it's because it's her. When Naruto was inside of the seal, he was saying that he don't want to lose anyone. It's not like he said, "Hinata. No. No!!!" She is his friend but not a lover. End of that. It's clear as Uchiha's idea of love means every type of love.

Yea I agree, about Naruto going eight tails....I also agree/ was saying how he reacted much more passionately when Sakura got kidnapped and it was clear that she was the cause of his "awakening"

Sometimes, part of me wants Sakura to be held again in this battle for Naruto to unleash much more than even Kuruma can't imagine. On the other hand, I want Naruto and Sakura to work side-by-side, so no captive moment. I was surprised to hear Sakura said his name when she was being held by Gaara's sand, because it tells me that her trust in him was gradually growing. That's when I start to realize that NaruSaku can truly work.

Don't worry, I forgot some moments until one person brought up a collection of moments. There are tons. Anime just makes it worse.

Haha, no im pretty sure there will be at least one more like that, but i dont see it as negative, since im very confident about the outcome at the end of the manga. I also had no problem with chapter 615, for me it made even more confident about NS.

After all i think the stroy is very predictable pairing wise, so i see no problem with chapter that contain some NH or SS fanservice.

Idk if its cause i keep listening to Naruto Shippuden opening 3 and opening 9, or cause I keep think about how Naruto has to do and loses so much, not to mention all the road blocks for Narusaku.

It's like what everyone has said. Hinata's development brought a full circle to her character. It all started with her clan, which includes Neji, and it will end with that. The love for Naruto seems like a bonus from Kishi to the fans, but nothing so serious. Do I think it's coincidence that it involves with Neji? Maybe. It does somewhat develop them and the clan at the same time. Unless you're asking about love. I wouldn't rule it out after the movie and somewhat SD spinoff. Yeah, they're not canon but they sure acknowledge it. It wouldn't be the first since it is common to happen this way.

Funny, you make me remember why I enjoy this manga. Naruto is all about passing through "impossible" obstacles. Kishi wants his fans to support Naruto, the protagonist, to overcome everything. End of part 1 was one of his toughest moment because Sakura's love for Sasuke hurt him and Sasuke broke his bond. Guess what? He didn't give up. You can say we are witnessing the rise, the fall, and the comeback of Naruto. Surely, everything will be on Naruto's favor. It's all building up to it.

Whoever Kishi chooses Naruto to end up with, he will be happy in the end. Usually SJ heroes end up with the first girl they're interested in, but I wouldn't rule out NH because of that. After all Hinata has gotten a lot of attention lately, much more than minor characters usually get; more importantly all involving pairing teases with the main character.

If Naruto ends up with Hinata and not Sakura I would be seriously disappointed and upset, but the scenario doesn't seem as impossible as a lot of you are making it out to be.

Why him to lose when Sakura has 2 directions: Naruto or Sasuke? Why downplay main character for a side character to win "everything"? Why destroy the foundation of the story? Why destroy a perfect moral? Why he has to change when there's no negative thought of Sakura, alas Sakura in 540?

Ok I should stop. I can rant but I'm not that kind of guy. One day, I may go to the dark side and go all out, but not now.

I'm pretty sure that's because the majority of her development must involve Naruto in some way. When you have a secondary character that aspires to be like the main character and admires them so much that is to be expected. I really don't see it as some hint that they're destined to be.

The reason Hinata's development is taken as a romance hint by fans is because of her feelings, but take away those and you'll simply see a girl that uses the main character as an inspiration to better herself. It's been done to death many times before.

Also, Hinata gets attention lately because this was her turn to get attention. Each character has had some attention in some shape or form in this war, but Hinata is far from the secondary character that gets the most attention. Even among the rookies she's one level below Team 10 who had several chapters fighting their dead sensei. Even with the most recent chapters after the alliance arrived the focus was equally divided among the Hyuugas and the many ninjas of the Ino-Shika-Cho.

Sure Naruto can love Hinata but it will have a very weak build up. The moments that Naruto and Hinata share a very few and far in between, not nearly enough to show that Naruto has reasonably developed romantic feelings, and even after her confession Kishi shows in a flashback that Naruto wants to confess to Sakura but feels that he can't.
