I dont see any problem with that, because i only read/watch Naruto because of NS and i dont have any problem with that, everyone who i know that was reading because of the series already dropped(on the begining of shippuuden) and even if i say that i read Naruto, i'm bashed.

One Piece > Naruto, Naruto is crap, and other common comentaries and etc...

 

I myself back and forth on the series i went on a hiatus three times on the series, on the part 1, part 2 on the begining and then during Sasuke/Itachi fight i took another hiatus.(to come back on Pain's arc)

And then once again i considered taking another Hiatus when i saw that Zetsu army, but didnt because i'm a shipper.

 

I myself if wasnt my shipping side would already have dropped when Kabuto ressurrected Madara.

And being honest NS is the only thing that has quality on the series the rest is crap for me.

 

Just look at the Naruto chapter thread, rarely there are chapters that we the majority enjoy but in all many many chapters are filled with complaints about bad writings, and pointing out things that doesnt make sense.
Even 654 had it.

 

Hmm I see well I've not met that many people who watch it only for a ship, like when I started watching Naruto I enjoyed it because of the story and although I eventually shipped NaruSaku I wasn't too concerned about it not like I am now anyway. I am surprised you took a hiatus three times especially so early in shippuden, I was mainly watching for the story but I do agree that recently it has dropped in quality so I can sort of understand how pairings/ships are the only thing keeping people from dropping it.

 

However I meant people who had no interest in the story at all and only watched the series for their pairing and nothing more, for example at the start of shippuden I wasn't watching for anything pairing related but more to see the changes after the time skip for each character i.e. rookies. Now though I guess even I myself have nothing much to look forward to in the story besides NaruSaku since it's coming to an end soon and the majority of development has already taken place and it didn't turn out as well as it could have.

What is your thoughts on the hate for this chapter mainly by youtube reviewers?

 

Will everyone keep the allied headbands or go back to their Normal once after the war and if they do will Naruto get one?

 

Will Naruto get a new outfit given the state of his current one?

I just wish they'd make up their minds already. They make this, but then say, "Parallels mean nothing," when the manga shows them in NaruSaku's favor. Apparently parallels only matter when they can be taken out of context and twisted to fit their preference.

They really don't understand anything about parallels.

The aim is not to replace one pairing by the other.

Parallels are there because there is a similarity between 2 pairing, or even 2 characters.

 

They say that Rin is a parallel to Hinata just because they want it. Nothing proves it in the manga. Whereas even if it wasn't confirmed in chapter 599 that sh'es parallel to Sakura, it was clearly showed that Team Minato was a parallel to Team 7, especially by emphasising Rin's love for Kakashi and Obito's love for Rin. 

 

That's really tiring that they desperately try to connect ObiRin and NaruHina. There is nothing in common, they just want it so they can claim canon for their pairing. NS fan didn't even said there was a parallel to claim it canon at the begining, they said it was parallel because there was one in chapter 599, there was a lot of similarities. And because they were scared of that, they began to try to twist Rin's personaility and other ObiRin's traits so it can fix in their pairing.

 

But let me say one thing: Hinata is not and never will be important to the plot! She's just a side character, she's not part of team 7 and none outside of team 7 can get a parallel. Period.

It's fanmade. They replace Naruto and Hinata by Obito and Rin, because they are convinced that Rin is a parallel to Hinata....

Apparently the "in thing" now is to say that Rin parallels Iruka since they're the first people to openly believe in Naruto/Obito.

 

I guess anything is up for grabs as long as it's not Sakura.

Wait... so does the NaruHina fandom still care about parallels? I would have thought that after 631 they would have just started saying parallels don't matter.

 

The main problem with trying to call ObiRin a parallel with NaruHina is that it means you acknowledge the importance of parallels. The reason why that is counterproductive to NaruHina is because it means that they must also acknowledge the importance of other parallels. As of right now there is only 1 romantic parallel that is blindingly obvious and that is the NaruSaku MinaKushi parallel. As for what pairing parallels ObiRin there is no conclusive evidence that any pairing is paralleled to it.

I'm just going to assume that they know this but still like both NaruHina and ObiRin so they decided to make fanart of it. Trying to use it as a pro-NaruHina argument just doesn't make any sense to me.

That's not a parallel. It's just a poor way to delude themselves even more and hold to everything that doesn't exists in order to fortify their wishes. Kinda sad.

You know, there are unneeded sequels that changed the course of the characters/story. That said would you be ok if NS becomes canon here, only to breakup for the sequel?
