Well, not REALLY, I'm already glad, that it's properly showed, that Doffy is whooping asses of both Law and Luffy, so Luffy need asspuls upgrades. Finaly, something new for him.

gear 2nd with full body coa maybe? or better yet, gear 2nd plus gear 3rd with full body coa? like nightmare luffy but much stronger and faster.

i'm hoping luffy finishes off doffy in the same manner he did blueno. gear 4 feels like it'll be a complete game changer, more so than gear 2nd was at the time. i mean, this not only could put luffy way above his crew, but he could very well land himself in admiral territory. which he'll need, since big mom is coming up.

so i guess this means both are not 100%. thank god this won't be a hollow victory. i just wish oda could have gone about it in a different way for luffy instead of having him look like kitten against bellamy. oh well, after this fight luffy's bounty will go up and it'll put him up another tier in the opverse.

omg, so gear 4 is so strong that he only needs it for a couple of seconds for doffy, and the rest is for the birdcage? if luffy does destory the birdage, that would mean oda has just given luffy an admiral level power. HOLY kitten! this will even be better than noah feat.
 
i hope this is so epic that it makes me forget that rage inducing fight he had with bellamy, and shut up the zolo tards who constantly make threads about zolo > luffy. jfc, ever since zoro soloed pica, the kitten has been all over the place.

I think that it'll be 2nd gear wrapped with COA, but he'll be on fire constantly like his red hawk.

I think gear 4 will be a complete gamechanger, but I don't think he'll use it against big mom, I personally think she's Lola's mother and she'll have some kind of respect for him that will lower the animosity between the two. But if she does have a problem, she's gonna get wrecked anyway lol

Yeah, I think it could have been better somehow if it wasn't just from Bellamy that Luffy got hurt, but im not really sure how that could have been done. Honestly, I expect Luffy to be in the 600's by the time this is done.

So what were your thoughts on the chapter? I thought it was great. The fighting was good, and onemofnthenthings that sold me on the chapter was Law's dedication to Luffy, I think Law has an even higher level of respect for Luffy than what he did even a couple chapters ago, to say what he did in this chapter. I think they're going to have a great friendship down the line.

meh, he already gave tribute to ace with red hawk, i think that's more than enough. i really want to see a compressed gear 3rd with the speed of gear 2nd, with full body coa and his punches will produce fire of course. it'll be like nightmare luffy, but he'll be big and black this time lol.

i thought it was a pretty good buildup to gear 4th. i expect to be fangirling with gear 4th reveal just as i did with gear 2nd. i thought the fight in this chapter was a bit boring, maybe because the blows that luffy is delivering to doffy don't look deadly. doffy even notes that his punches are soft. i think the fight will be better once luffy goes gear 4. plus luffy announcing gear 4 really overshadows the fight in this chapter.

meh, i just can't find it in me to care about law. i'm glad he's finally out of the way, seems like last week the guy had obito's ridiculously annoying stamina. oda pleased the law fanboys by giving him a few hits, now it's time for the real show to start.

Yeah, that meteor did absolutely nothing. There's no way anybody could actually believe that Zoro is stronger than Luffy, they must be trolling.

That would be pretty cool, I think that would also be a viable option for gear 5 if it isn't gear 4. I'm not so sure him catching fire would be a tribute to ace as much as the red hawk, I think that fire might be a side effect of having coa and 2nd together, so it might be unavoidable more than it would be a tribute of sorts.

I wouldn't mind seeing that fight either, I mean, Big Mom already had the nerve to talk back to Luffy she's asking for a beat down XD seriously though, I think it would be pretty cool to see it, I'm not sure if it will happen though.

Yeah, that would have been a good way to curb the impact of bellamy, although, he did take all those hits because he didn't want to hurt bellamy.

I expect to squeal pretty hard too, I remember the first time I saw 2nd XD I don't think the announcement necessarily overshadows the fight, mainly because he did it with the first time he used 2nd and 3rd. What it does is add a lot of angst, that's for damn sure XD I'm glad Law's role is over too, I love him, but I'm glad that he's gonna sit back and watch now. It was kinda overbearing at points, but that's done now XD

i only included the fire due to the effect it has on luffy more so than another tribute for ace. i thinkthis chapter kinda gave us a clue to how gear 4 will be like. doffy said in this chapter that luffy in gear 2nd is fast but lacks power, and luffy in gear 3rd was too slow, which doffy noted by saying he's wide open. that tells us that gear 4 will not only be faster than gear 2nd, but it's destructive power will be greater than gear 3rd. holy kitten!

It could be as you said, but then I'd expect the knock back of using it to be really high. Personally, I thought that it would offer him slightly less speed than gear second, and exchange that for enough power to be barely less than gear 3. I wouldn't mind your way, either, that would be sick as kitten. I'm hoping that there might be some kind of coc incorporation in it as well, that would be really cool.

I kinda expect Doflamingo to not take his 4th gear completely serious at first, and then get wrecked by it and start to get pushed back because of it. I think at some point Doflamingo will panic.
