I've heard mixed reviews. Someone said it sucked ass (but they were probably a Bush supporter... it racks on him a lot apparently. :/ ) One of my friends said it was dumb, but funny as shiz! I'm going to go see it anyway! ^^

HAPPY HOLLOWEEN EVERYONE! wwwooooooo.... *gets spooky*

Team America was a great movie, and you had to really try to understand it to know what is behind the funny of the movie. Great movie though, it shows and makes fun of the stupid things that the government does that doesnt make sense. Bush supports usally dont make sense unless they know what they talking about. I argue with a few bush supporters and usally the end up saying bad things about Bush and lose their argument before it starts. I actually find it hilarouse cause I usally point that out to them what they just did, and they just smile thinking they are right and/or just shut up. I can say right now, I still dont know a whole big deal of the political situation here, but I been able to shut many people up in arguments. Only one guy i didnt shut him up cause he made good valid points and I could see that but he also understands that Bush is still an ass, but he still leans more with bush then Kerry. I think in this election, both are losers, One is a dush, and the other is a terd sandwitch. There is not much diffrence between them, except some have their ideas which we may lean towards and another has their ideas which we may lean towards. To me, I want Edwards in there no matter who becomes President. In the debate with Edwards vs Cheeny, man that was so horrible, Cheeyney sucked so much in the debate that it wasnt even funny. He would go off topic, he would try to make insults that are very pathetic cause he doesnt use them right and then he says "There is no chaos in Iraq, right now." Which was the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Cheeyney is some where out there and not on earth like he suppose to be. He shouldnt be uniformed about what is going on in IRAQ! That is complete maddness if the U.S. knows there is Chaos in IRaq and our Vice President doesnt know there is chaos. That doesnt sound like it is a good thing.

VOTE FOR NADER.

I don't know why. I just think the concept of a third-party candidate running the country is hilarious.

Then again, I don't take politics seriously. I am so horrible. laugh.gif

Sometimes I think we Brits got off lucky in politics. wink.gif We may hate our own Prime Minister, but at least it's not as bad as having to choose between Bush and Kerry. I just hope to God that we get Blair voted out of government at the next elections...

Hope you guys have a good time tonight! happy.gif I can't wait to see the photos, Ash! biggrin.gif

I've played Doom 3 (the demo), and I have to say I was unimpressed. happy.gif; Sure, the graphics are pretty, but I felt that the immersion was much better in System Shock 2 (a lot of Doom 3's ideas seem pinched from it as well!). SS2 was a LOT scarier as well. tongue.gif I miss Looking Glass... (the makers of System Shock 2, they folded. sad.gif We need a System Shock 3!)

My SS2 CD was damaged. sad.gif I might see if it's still out on budget range when I go to buy a new mouse for my laptop.

I did like Prince of Persia: Warrior Within and Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 though! I'm even playing with the thought of getting the latter game and making all the visitors Naruto characters, with suitable pairings and personalities. tongue.gif I even named the staff after NaruSaku FC members. wink.gif (hope you guys don't mind, hehe)

I had to buy my copy of SS2 from eBay, Smiter. I couldn't find a single bargain range that had it.

Ahh, I see. Thanks for the info, Blayze. happy.gif I guess I will just have to live on my memories of SS2 or keep an eye out in the used section of the game shops - it's all too easy to end up paying for a pirate copy on Ebay.

What kind of world do we live in when companies that produce gems like SS2 fold, and those that pump out crap like Army Men continue to do so? tongue.gif

I was thinking of checking out Deus Ex 2 on the PC, but I hear that it's not all that good?

not to stray too far off topic, but I think Blair is hilarious.
Once upon a time, the rough-and-tough G.W.Bush wanted to show his sensitive side, so he wore a baby-blue tie during a press conference. This fashion statment caught on and soon most of Congress had caught the baby-blue tie fever. It was quite a sight to behold; a large group of mainly white men in black suits and baby-blue ties, but the story doesn't end there.
Either catching on to the trend or not wanting to be out done by the US, Tony Blair showed up to work one day wearing an entire Baby-blue blazer. I lolled so hard! That guy cracks me up! >D (as a Prime Minister I don't support him too much though... even if he's not my Prime Minister. wink.gif )

*laughs* I remember that! (Oh, Sori, there is no way you can go off topic in this thread! wink.gif)

I think half the UK was wondering what the HELL our own Prime Minister was doing. tongue.gif I wouldn't be seen dead in a baby blue suit or wearing ANYTHING pink. The only baby blue things I own are a pair of thick socks - ideal for lounging around during the winter months. wink.gif

I find our news coverage of the US elections funny. tongue.gif Don't you just admire how the candidates always have a ready supply of babies to pose with?

Ah, Tony Blair. The man who Bush leads around by the balls.

On another note, George Carlin is funny as hell. I must find more stuff by him.

On a third note (And you might be able to help me with this, Smiter - The guy's on those Live At Jongleurs repeats on Paramount occasionally), I can't find out who sings 'Singing Comedian' and 'Scary Weirdoes'.

Oh god no, he's got a guitar
He's a singing comedian
And everybody knows
How **** they all are

Oh god no, it's a funny song
Now we get to sit and grit our teeth
And watch him
As he gets the words all wrong

He's a singing comedian
His breath smells of lozenge
And he thinks he's bloody clever
Because he found a word that nearly rhymes with orange

He's a singing comedian
Don't wanna be a cynic
But I betcha any minute
He runs outta clever lyrics

Na-na-na-na-na-na-na

The baby blue suit seems stupid to me for a very good reason, in quebec, where I live, there was a group of humorists called 'Les bleu poudre' who wore baby blue tie suits all the time and commented politics (like every humorists) in a crazy way. from this point on, anyone who wears this color and isn't a baby him, herself seems to lose any credibility in the eye of people.

It shows how much I put credibility into Bush and Blair. Not that I( believe politics are credible in the first plaqce but they're worst.
[COLOR=red]I'm a perv, any doubts? Ask Soritia

well, i just got back around a half an hour ago from my uncles house. I scared about 90-98% of the trick or treaters that came to me. Some were scared to come near me and others had sent their parents to me. One girl ran away from me and then came back. God my costume rocked.

A group was looking at me trying to see if i was fake or real and they kept staring, when they were about to walk away, I jumped up and they jumped in shock and were scared like no tommorow hehehe. Another girl had to catch up with her friends and began running, she stopped in front of me and when she came close enough i just reached my hand out to her to give her candy and she jumped in fear. I tried to give her the candy still but she was still scared of me for a few seconds and then took the candy. Hehe, I love scarying the older young ladies happy.gif I just wish one of those hot older girls there were probably a year younger then me would give me a kiss on the cheek. I was the grim reaper, I had the sicle, and i had the thing that was black and covered my face. I had fade in and out lights for my eyes but I still could see, it is cool how they work. I looked real fake so it worked for me in scarying the little and older treaters that came hehehe. Some very little girls had more guts then the older girls that came to me. Those little girls actually came to me and told me "you have a cool costume." and "I like your costume" One girl called me "Nice scary." lol She was scared of me but she thought i was nice. I love Halloween.

We're lucky. We live out in the country. Only three children came to our house this year. *small voice* Three kids too many.

At least I'll be getting an extra hour of sleep from now on. Didn't feel like it, but I did.

*laughs*

Cute story, UN. happy.gif

Afternoon, Ash, Blayze and Alpha! biggrin.gif *waves*

We don't really get any kids around here - we're pretty much tucked away. tongue.gif We almost had a full moon here as well (only a tiny bit was in shadow). There were a bunch of horror films being shown as well, but I didn't watch any of them - I find them too boring and predictable. happy.gif;

I prefer the supernatural ones that don't go all out to scare you - such as "The Eye" (great Chinese ghost story). Because there's a difference between being unsure of reality and the done-to-death "girl in dark room" clich?. tongue.gif
