You right, is not Saori. I remember I posted I pic of Saori holding Seiya, but she is Athena from another time. EG A is a mess one of these days will read it.

 

Other thing to add Aiolos is the Pope for this Athena.

Uh, Yeah I knew that it was not so big in North America as it is in Latin speaking countries, Europe and other parts internationally. Just didn't think too hard on why.

 

although there is  bit of a flaw if you ask me about the argument when they said Saint Seiya is a team Sentai battle series and it's single one one one battles that are popular in North America. You see Saint Seiya battles ARE one on one no? think about it. the team always splits up and ALWAYS has each member's fight focused on until it's over. So that idea on why it's not big in America is rather poorly thought out. Besides, in the Same Branch Dragon Ball and Naruto also have teams don't they?

 

Well I don't know. I think that that the poorly made Made DIC dub was what killed it in America and Canada. I kind of remember the voices from before when I was a kid and well to be blunt, they sucked. Not to mention they don't call Saori " Miss Saori" instead they call her Princess Sienna. The American Dub that you see uploaded on Kiss anime is the Actual American dub redone which was much better received but they still cancelled after episode 60 for ....... Some reason. Well See for yourself

 

 

Actually Shun's voice is alright, although I find his actual American Dub voice a bit less passive than he actually is and more aggressive XD Oh and as you see from Shiryu's Dic dub voice some of the attacks were pretty cheesy  named even though it is the literal translation. lol

Nice find and review.

 

Agree with the fact that the Saints fight one on one battles example Taurus from LC. When  he said to Dokho he wants to fight and the fights of the Saints must be one on one, but of course there a more example in others series of SS. Other thing is when fight a god.

 

Unfortunately the dub in USA yes indeed  killed it with not just the fact of dubbed it , but the censored too. When I said they censor I mean the fact  they exaggerate it that is too violent compare to the others series and they have take out or even they put SS the mark of MA.

 

Other note that they mention was SS was old, but come on SS has  now new stuff. Still something they didn't mention, its to compare  it with other series with fact they have better animation or better fighting style or more. Toei  doesn't help  with those facts,  animation or cooperation to find a solution like making something similar like LC. Still I never I have compared SS in animation because I grew with the old and ugly animation and that doesn't affect me.
