Question time.

How do you want the Naruto and Sasuke fight to end? Do you want Naruto to understand that Sasuke made his decision, and he can't be really be saved or do you want a most likely to happen, happy ending where everyone lives happily ever after, with no more wars and there's peace and harmony? Or maybe another way.

 

A rasengan rammed into Sasuke's G**D***ed face!!!!!! No, I'm not joking. He has a beat down long waited for him.

 

But of course I want Naruto to move on from his life of Sasuke. So I go  with undestand Sasuke is "a little kitten" (seriously who made that logo? lol) and won't change, so Naruto lets him go, understand his best friend is Gaara and have a happy life with Sakura without a guilty conscience. As I've already stated before, Kishi made this relationship to the point that it's stupid, nonsensical, and WAY too simplistic to call them friends.They are not friends; It's much more complicated than that despite what Naruto says.

Maybe I'm missing something but why doesn't he just put Naruto under his spell as well and then kill him? 

 

He did it with the Bijuus and he didn't even need to make eye contact with them (atleast not all of them)

Naruto's body is sharing the consciences of 9 different bijuu. A perfect jinchuuriki can usually break out of genjutsu using the partner system. Still, if Sasuke is desperate, he might try it anyway (only to have a perfect reenactment of the time when he turned his back on Bee and it caused his chest cavity to explode).

Yeah. The Bee fight was the first time in Shippuden where he was completely dominated by a more skilled opponent, and the person who was running circles around him wasn't blessed with any genetic inheritances. That means Bee overpowered Sasuke with raw skill alone.

But that's just it, Sasuke was able to put all the bijuus under control at the same time without eye contact

I'm pretty sure all of the bijuu were giving Sasuke their undivided attention when he was revealing his plot to turn them all into his obedient pets. Then he uses Chibaku Tensei to confine them into makeshift prisons. Neither action is possible if the victim has the tools necessary to negate illusions and avoid/destroy the restraints used on them. Oh,and Sasuke could try to subdue the bijuu inside of Naruto's mind, but he would be dealing with nine different beasts that have all of their powers (they're not bound to any cages as Kurama once was up until the war), plus he would need to contend with Naruto himself.

I seriously never know what to really trust with Kishimoto's interviews because there are things that seem to contradict each other and I never know what might have been changed or lost in translation, and I have no idea what the 'reliable' sources are. It's enough to make my head spin.   

I read his interviews and go "OK, sir you are a liar." and to be perfectly honest I don't really believe his interviews at all.

That's not the point I was making. I know he doesn't have to make eye contact, that's my point if he doesn't need to do it then whats stopping him from controlling Naruto like he did the other beasts.
