the issue of Hinatas clan being in the picture in that regard was handled a long time ago. It wouldn't matter any ways because Hinata would either quit her clan outright, or Naruto would change the clan. So the clans choice in the matter would be irrelevant.

 

The real issue for Hinata is can she let go.

 

I would wager that Kishimoto sensei for Hinata is heading for a similar dialogue to the Promise of a lifetime for Hinata to Naruto. A speech where she says perhaps almost line for line " you love Sakura don't you? I can tell, I hope you and Sakura will always be happy and I promise Ill always be there for you.

 

that's the next logical step for Hinata can she let go of that which she loves/crushes on.

Well that's is intersting. It could happen. But I think he's gonna follow the current pattern. He's not gonna address them at all. And she's just gonna watch and be happy from afar. She's not that relevant to the story for him to go hat far out of the way to do that. And she did say she's gonna stop after the war.

@Catsi @Haunted Cake & @NS4L3g - While I believe that Hinata at the least deserves some proper closure regarding her unrequited love, I feel that a move like that from Kishi, would only fo towards glorifying Hinata more.

 

The thing is, if Hinata were to go to either Naruto ('I wish you well, always be there for you') or Sakura ('love/protect him forever') with some kind of HIna-Style POAL, it would only create the impression that NS will have a clear path to being canon because Hinata chose to pull herself out of the race for Naruto's heart. That we (the fandom) only got our way because Her Highness, in her modesty, stepped aside.

 

The NH fans will cling to this, and we (NS) won't be able to escape from it. The NS victory will be tainted because, from the way it could/would look, Hinata gifted us with Naruto and Sakura together.

 

Just my thoughts.

If Hinata though were to straight up say "Naruto will never love me like he loves you." or something along those lines than it wouldn't be making NS canon because HInata stepped aside since she herself admits that Naruto's love for Sakura is just too strong.

I find this whole Hinata being an obstacle for NS a pile of bs, because really after Hinata's confession he never thought about it, or even thought about his supposed feelings for Hinata, we only got Sakura even Sasuke didnt thought about that, just to show off how males are oblivious to romance, the whole Sakura's confessing didnt matter a bit for Sasuke and neither Hinata's confession matters to Naruto because the impact of that on Naruto was zero.

But when we saw Sai telling her that Naruto loves her then she started thinking about Naruto on a romantic light then SS is an obstacle for NS but at the same time NS is one of the obstacles for SS.

She didnt thought about Hinata when she made her confession to Naruto why she would become a problem to her now?

I would find this really incosistent from Kishi's part.

About Fairy Tail, well to make it quiet rather spoiling, one girl told the heroine that the hero is stronger when you stay his side and she goes "w-what?" So when the girl smiles, heroine got the idea and she smiles as well. This is after she was hinted that she got interest with the hero, that is until she got punched (funny). So, if Hinata does this, yeah, fans will go riot mode.

That all said we don't need this, really, but it feels like something that Kishi will tell everyone, "Look, I have her passing the torch, now shut up and read" in a polite way, much like making Sakura a stronger heroine than Hinata as of late, even though I always believe. In other words, we're great without this. Sakura's constant hint keeps coming anyway, so that will make it overkill.

We wont get much pairing material for a few chapters, i think the manga is going to take a serious approach to the upcoming battle except for the escallating Naruto vs Sasuke rivalry/distrust.

This is exactly what I don't understand...

For most normal people if, after confessing your love to someone, and nearly dying in the process elicits next to ZERO reaction, or commentary from the confessed to party...Huh, well I think it would be pretty obvious that they had no idea what to say because they...were. not.interested. 

Meanwhile, the same guy who ignored another girl's confession is calling someone else his girlfriend (in front of the girl who nearly died confessing to him no less!) and that's supposed to be taken as a joke?


That just makes Naruto out to be like a total sleaze bag, so why the heck would they want him with Hinata in the first place? I mean, what exactly does Naruto have to do for people to take his feelings seriously rather then throwing them in the mud or acting like they never existed in the first place? It's honestly just like watching a train wreck.

yeah it was sounded like, Naruto acknownledged her that she was at his side like everyone else, comrade stuff and etc.. she just reinforced her will to keep being like this.
