nvm, I refuse to give up, I can accept that all the other info is real but I refuse to accept the manga chapters and the leaked last designs that were not sketches are real. I refuse to accept it, I will wait for the countdown to end and the official translation to be released. I may be the only one to not give up but I don't care, I will see it to the end.

I think it was Pepsi(?) who said Mr.T told him Sakura's wedding would be part of the plot. I don't think that part is true, though. There's been no SS trailers/Ads or anything.

If he was being honest about being told that, then yeah. I have my doubts...Though everything else came to pass (Naruto would make a gentle/tender woman his wife, Naruto would accomplish his love, Naruto would have a tender moment with a family of his own, Sakura would always love Sasuke, etc)

Seeing those movie tracks usually spoils the plot of the film in a way, but this reveals it will indeed be about Naruto and Hinata... I can't believe Kishi would do that. How are you gonna accomplish making Naruto fall in love with Hinata in a span of an hour and fifty minutes?

I've been down this road before, many years ago. I would not be surprised if Kishi does another interview, if he says he never planned for anything more for Narusaku. Zutara fans thought for a long time that Zutara was the original intended pairing (There was a little bubble fact thing on the first episode that said Zuko was originally planned to be Katara's love interest) There were parallels, there were hints, there was chemistry (That season three trailer baited hard) but in the end? The creators said that it was all in the fan's head. And, well, I don't believe Kishi had much planned.
 
Sometimes interesting stories/pairings happen in a story that the author didn't intend. Nothing is going to change the ending, or how Naruto goes forward (Their kids are the Mcs of the new story. Kind of like Korra, amusingly enough) Naruhina wasn't that popular in Japan, so unless that came about from some pare the spares thing, I just don't think NS was what he wanted. He wouldn't have had Sakura continue to love Sasuke after trying to kill her or he wouldn't have had her completely ignore Naruto after Sasuke came back if he had.
 
We saw something amazing, and in the end Narusaku still exists. It may not be canon, but it is still alive. As long as there's fanfiction and fanart and fanvids, Narusaku will never truly die.

Zutara and NaruSaku CANNOT be compared. Zutara was completely all in the fan's minds, it was clear from the first five minutes of the first episode of ATLA that Kataang would happen. It only grew more painfully obvious as the series went on. Like luffy said, even the creators expressed their dislike for Zutara and how Kataang was "in the DNA of the show" (something like that).

But, yeah. NS is better than SS/NH ever was or ever will be and it doesn't need to be canon to be what it always was, something amazing.

Dude....I think you need to let it go. If you're not trolling, You're going to hurt yourself big time. Just enjoy the fanfiction/fanon and move on. At this point, I wouldn't even want Narusaku to be canon, I just wanted closure for Naruto, not this ooc shipping fiasco. Kishi could have made an amazing movie about team7 reunited for the Last, but because he decided to go the shojo route now we have a shojo movie on how naruhina and sasusaku fall in love because kishi wasted panels when he could have done a better job at showing them fall in love through the story.

True I wouldn't be satisfied as a NH fan. They don't even have any interactions in the final chapter, rather it's 699 or 700. We just see them together at Neji's funeral and that's it. And still it was normal for them to be shown together because of 614/615. That's why the movie's needed, because NH ending is really out of the blue in 700, there is nothing that indicate Naruto could be with her in the future, the last time he expressed his feelings it was Sakura for life lol. At least SS had some interactions that indicate a probable romantic relationship later on in 699.

Beautiful. Well put. We should all remember that people accept things in their own time, on their own terms. Be supportive. And if you can't do that, then don't respond. This has always been a haven for all NS fans. Now it's also a place to commiserate, and everyone's at their own speed.

okay if this does turn out to be the real naruto ending and nh is happening in the movie, I'm okay with it because I'll just ignore this happened because all it is is a cash cow bland ending and it will just prove how naruto the series ended up being turned from an amazing series to an moronic cash cow, unless it ends up being a good cash cow and they make 2 series with 2 different endings to please the fans or the chapter and leaks turn out to be fake, either way I'm not gonna worry about it right now

well even so I need a break to put this behind me, so i'll be doing stuff with friends until monday, like playing a randomized soul linked playthrough of pokemon platinum with my best friend and just talking and spending time with my friends. but if any of you find out that this ending is fake or a genjutsu and find out the truth, message me please.  I don't think this ending is real at all or its misleading, I just still have this gut feeling, so I'm counting on any of you guys on this forum who have hope to find as much info as you can and figure out the truth and explain it to me so I can finally be content, if it turns out that this is a cash cow crap ending then I accept it and that you guys are all better at writing endings to naruto and will only ever accept road to ninja as the true final movie and best movie, but if it turns out my gut feeling was right and kishi is planning something big and its not the real ending, I want you guys to message me and explain it to me, you can even send me a xat link to talk to me.

All I'm accepting is Kishi is a horrible @ss writer... expect this movie to put that further on display and if by some miracle chance it delivers something better, then still Kishi loses respect

The thing is, that's kind of what we are now. I know some people think he changed his mind at the last minute, but the movie has been in development too long for that to be true.

Both Zutara and Narusaku had parallels that ended up being only seen by the shippers

Both Zutara and Narusaku are friendship stories that had chemistry

Both were teased (Anime filler for NS, season 3 trailer/magazines for Zutara)

Both needed two other ships to die for it to happen (Maiko=Sasusaku, Kataang=Naruhina)

Both had the ending spoiled before the official release by outside sources, and both had fans ignore/explain away the spoilers before confirmation

Both had long shipper manifestos that ended up being overthinking/over analyzing

Both had a resolution that had no explanation/just happened (Katara was confused/Needed time after the forced kiss until the finale skipped any resolution on this, instead she just kisses Aang out of the blue/Naruhina children)

Both had characters that loved the other character from the start and never wavered (Mai=Sakura, Aang=Hinata)

Both had one ship explained in another source (Maiko=the comic after season 2/Naruhina=the movie)

Both were alike (Naruto/Sakura wanted acknowledgment, Zuko/Katara had mothers taken by the fire nation and it shaped their future)

Both had friendship events/stories seen as romantic (Southern Raiders/Season 2 finale/CPR/Healing scene)

Both made more sense to the shippers, despite not being canon in the end (We're kind of like Harmony now, too lol Harry ended up with a side character, his friends got together)

 

Anyway, I wanted to bring some positivity back. Narusaku is still alive, despite not being canon. We can still love it and keep it a float without canon.

I believe that when I was little I kind of shipped Zutara because of my tastes (?) But I always knew Katara will end up with Aang. It was just so obvious.

 

Narusaku is nothing like that.

I watched Avatar TLA, with no shipping preferences whatsoever. I didn't care who ended up with who in that. 

 

And Zutarra was not very similar at all. They never spent that much time together, and they both had someone they clearly liked.

Also I would say he should have avoided that 631 scene if he intended NH in 2012.He really trolled NS there and comparing Sakura to Kushina was really pointless and a twisted way to get NS fans to read further.If he had not done that scene AND he had avoided bringing up the POAL(seriously what was its point?Sakura didnt even thank Naruto for it not did Naruto do anything about it) then we could have concluded Naruto lost his feelings for Sakura at the fake confession.We didnt get closure at all

What will really irritate me about this movie is if Sakura really is encouraging Hinata to pursue Naruto because she seemingly disliked the idea of them together in the actual manga, but if she's okay with it now she's "got" Sasuke, i.e. no longer needs Naruto - I don't even want to think about it.

How you see Zutara is how the rest of the fandom sees Narusaku. Replace Aang with Sakura and you get why, well, Narusaku wasn't going to happen (without some serious changes on Sakura's part that sadly never happened)

 

The movie might have the closure we want for Narusaku, but that scene with Sakura encouraging Hinata....I don't know. I think it's probably best left up to our imaginations. We'll get much more satisfaction that way.

Would any person go to that extent so as potentially disgruntled people would continue going without knowing what was about to hit them? Darn, I just watched Interstellar and I was reminded of this thing again.

 

Again, it's Kishi's call, but it's disgusting.
