Its already clear that sakura has romantic feelings for naruto, no need to discuss that anymore.

This^ we already know she has feelings for Naruto her confession was honest. I really hope Kishi does redo her confession so he can finally shut the mouth of NH and SS fans and other fans who are still saying she was lying.

I totally agree but to be fair Itachi may be more popular but he was also a villain when he died and his death was the goal of the deuteragonist. after death he moved into a more gray area to make him more sympathetic but he really had to die again for development of Sasuke. Sakura may not be the most popular character in Japan but she is still near the top (tied with Sai for 12th I believe) and is the 2nd most popular female after Hinata in 10th so she does have a pretty sizeable fanbase, coupled with the fact that shes the heroine I could see fans being enraged at her possible death.

If this is true it really just seems like being dark and edgy for the sake of it, its pointless tragedy injected just for shock value. If it was handled something like Minato and Kushina tragic for a reason or even Shikaku it could work but this it sounds worse than Neji's.

Ofc is not going to happen the best way would be her dying for Naruto to understand Obito then he sacrifices himself and and revives her.
but no the kages are going to join the battle, and it's most probably that Hashirama is going to do something about the Juubi and undo the binding bringing back all the other bijuus they all turn against Madara and Obito, Hashimara makes Madara see that he's wrong and Obito realizes that "friendship is magic".

Bolded: No, you don't. If Naruto was a shoujo, we'd be dealing with all sorts of roadblocks meant to make it seem like he and Sakura aren't going to be together. That's what happens in shoujo manga all of the time. The girl and/or guy has a crush, they struggle to tell each other how they feel, usually a love rival enters the scene and X amount of chapters later loses to the main hero/heroine, the hero and heroine end up getting together, there are anxious feelings at the start of their relationship but after a really long time they work through them, then more rivals show up and try to break up the couple, etc, etc... Typically, it's an absolute headache until the end of the series, when they finally get a happily ever after.

I much prefer Naruto just how it is. The romance is subtle, but it's just enough for me. I actually like that love isn't the only thing that the characters focus on. It adds so much more substance to the story.

She loves him - truth, over a long period from chapter 3 onward she has shown steadily growing feelings for Naruto.

Hes always been there for her, always supported her - truth she acknowledges all the contributions naruto ahs made for her.

She says she cant continue to love someone whos a criminal - truth she has grown and changed beyond her shallow crush


Narutos presnece in her heart is greater - also truth its been shown in a clear progression of feelings for her.

where Sakura does not lie but attempts to deflect or obfuscate is in regards to her having let all feelings for sasuke go-- this is partly untrue and partly a deflection as she tries to hide the truth from naruto regarding the rookies decision about Sasuke.

This was the sum total of what she actually lied about and it was only a lie of obfuscation where she hid the truth from him in order to protect him.

the end result is that Sakura was truthful in her confession--Kishimoto sensei wrote --I thought i wrote a suprisingly determined and honest girl--confirming this.

She intended to ease his burden in several ways by no longer doing the minor things. Instead this time she would take the heavy burden, she would kill her heart and kill the one she loved, and bear Narutos hatred forever and the pain of losing lim and any chance he would ever love her.

This is why her confession was genuine and selfless, she intended to give up any chance of having Narutos love and if needed die knowing Naruto would hate her forever because she killed his best friend.

Because there isn't really any indication given that she'd turned away from Yamato, unless you want to consider the way the anime does it (although, it won't be the first time they added in something that wasn't shown in the manga). Like I said....I could be reaching with this, but I wanted to bring it up anyway. This would support the idea of her confession being genuine and simply done at the wrong time or for another reason other than what she actually does feel for Naruto. But...thoughts?

I noticed those, but I was also focusing on the way they were drawn as well. It could be that she'd turned away when they were interrupted, but it's just weird that this wasn't exactly shown. I thought it would support it more if she knows what Yamato was saying vs her not knowing, because then she wouldn't have been lying to herself at all. She would have had a lot of time to think over her feelings since then, too. Some people (not a lot of people here) believe that she wasn't telling the complete truth after all. But yea...most likely I'm wrong.

About her feelings for Naruto. Some people believe that she still doesn't know how she feels, really. And that the confession was a lie. I'm not saying they're wrong for thinking so by the way, or that it's bad that she still doesn't know. But I just wanted to bring up this possibility of her already hearing all of Yamato's words to her.
