What I don't understand is the logical process of this post.

If you hold hands with your siblings or your parents or your friends, does it mean it's not romantic when you do it with your lover? Is Sakura's hug towards Naruto not romantic because Naruto's mother hugged him as well? And no, the forehead poke Itachi did towards Sasuke was not meant for "distancing" each other. It was an affectionate way to touch his little brother.

We could logically defeat SS without resorting to the same level of logical reasoning skills as NH/SS. Come on. We could do better than this.

Edit: And before anyone jumps at me calling a SS fan for disagreeing to a particular argument made by A-SS, I'm not. I'm only saying we can do better. We're undermining our own NS moments if we use this logic.

That is true I don't see a reason to twist ItaSasu as romantic just to discredit the SS abomination kitten there are many other ways you can do that LOL especially with SS   . What's more important is you should always look behind the context of the scene and there is no doubt that this was meant to be Romantically Disgusting & OOC as kitten   .   

 

What I have problem with this scene is that that poke gesture was a special thing  between ItaSasu and their bond  using it for SS it diminish the importance of  it  . Second the forehead poke kitten was never a thing for SS  it was never foreshadowed that was a NS thing and Kishikitteningmoto  give it to SS know this       What he did  was basically stealing moments for both IS & NS and give them to SS  which was OOC in character bc  there was no development for SS  this wasn't foreshadowed and its simply not their freaking dynamic  .  This is just one giant Recton OOC Asspull kitten  that made no freaking sens  its the mother of all Abominations! .

 

Sorry for the slight rant   Its morning  I'm cranky and I still want to sleep but I can't !!!   .

I agree. It's not the action itself that altogether determines the feeling behind it, but the characters. Since the forehead poke was used to make SS canon, then it's implied to be romantic.

Whenever I see the Uchiha head poke, the fingers look like gun to me. Probably because the one who receives them are always on the receiving end of a murder spree XD

I personally, never thought that it was a romantic gesture, but more a brotherly-like one... since in the previous chapter, Sasuke said he considered team 7 as family (even though, we know that the only that mattered to him was Naruto)...

 

Anyway, it doesn't really matter, because, as NarutoFireFoxUzumaki said, it was a special thing between Sasuke and Itachi, and use it to make SS "canon" was just plain stupid..just like Kishi...and SP....and SJ...and NH.... and everything in that ending.

That's another thing. In manga, a lot of what's established to be romantic wasn't used at all or at least for the main characters. Instead, we changed them and never really make it out to be anything significant. It's fanfiction at best. Like the series.
