I could have sworn that anyone can learn it if you're just that skill. Or you can just do another similar jutsu. Or maybe you could have just written much better to convince that Obito is Tobi. That would be great.

Timeline is the fault. Then later on, his motivation. I definitely understand the first one. Motivation, that's up for anyone but I must admit, it needed more than that, because stuff like that always have people to say "Really..."

Just like nostradamus said, it's the execution.
For time line, it's one of kishi weakness, because he's a bad writer.
For motivation, it will be different if we know that obito is an orphan thus make rin as his important person just like naruto to sakura.

Exactly what I said. It's too much of a "Haha! I fooled you" even though we weren't but I feel like people don't want him to be Tobi as time goes by. What I mean is that it would be acceptable if the revelation of his wasn't said this or that. It felt unnecessary. In fact, you can argue that Obito has no business whatsoever with Uchiha Clan Massacre if this was just Obito. Madara made sense, let alone no pact between Itachi and Madara.

Exactly what I said. It's too much of a "Haha! I fooled you" even though we weren't but I feel like people don't want him to be Tobi as time goes by. What I mean is that it would be acceptable if the revelation of his wasn't said this or that. It felt unnecessary. In fact, you can argue that Obito has no business whatsoever with Uchiha Clan Massacre if this was just Obito. Madara made sense, let alone no pact between Itachi and Madara.

Not that it matters now, but then - it was bad for Madara's character. We heard of him as of someone strong, who Tobi wasn't. I personaly not a big fan of "big ancient enemy" type of villans who Madara was. Kishimoto's or his editor's of Madara being a mastermind - was intresting, and Obito who was manipulated by him - was cool. Because if that was Madara, it all would needed to be explainded in alot longed flashbakc than Obito's. Basicaly that Madara would be just named by his name, and so we coudn't witness real streght of the strongest Uchiha. But that's just my opinion.

Some say Obito being Tobi is what ruined/killed Naruto.

How did you feel about that revelation? Why?

 

 

That wasn't really the case for me.

 

I think what was taken away from the revelation was the chapter name. the way it was executed was decent, it could've been better, but overall I thought it was decent. 

 

granted when it came to his attention it kind rubbed me the wrong way, but by the time his fight with Kakashi came in the other dimension I did start to like him from there. It didn't kick off until he started to regret that he became a personal favorite of mine.  Now the main issue when it came to people's hate on Obito was "You Let Rin Die!" they were like oh really all because of a girl, yes but in the end she (at least to me) dis reciprocate her feelings and by telling him she's always been watching him and waiting for him."  The other thing is Obito was 13 when he lost Rin and there's always a saying Love comes with both light and darkness. Another case you can look at it is when Anakin fell to the Dark Side in Revenge of The Sith ultimately he did it because of Padme.  That's something you can correlate with Obito too because he was doing all of it for Rin, I wouldn't really Obito a villain, he's what I considered The tragic anti-hero ultimately doing what he believed what he was doing was right for the world. It's not until after he saves Naruto's life were I consider him as a tragic-hero. 

 

Point is people find it idiotic that You're doing all of these horrible things because the love of your life died. That's something most people don't really notice because if you've got someone that's precious to you (platonic or romantically speaking) then of course it's going to be hard for you. Plus consider the situation Obito was in, he was desperate to save Kakashi and Rin and to see his friend stab Rin right before his eyes was something he didn't want to see. So of course seeing that for him meant everything has now become hell.  

 

 

That is how I see it when it comes to Obito's character, he didn't kill the series at all because it didn't degrade Team 7, or Madara, or anyone. Well O okay "The coolest guy ever" comment slightly I wouldn't say that killed Naruto's character. We've got The Last to freely say Naruto has now decscended into Scumruto.

Well, its not like people couldn't have seen it coming. Along with NS and the 4th Hokage being Naruto's father, it was one of the most foreshadowed outcomes in the series. If he hadn't gone through with it after all of the development he put into it, it would have been just as bad as not making NS canon.

I think it hurts him when his follow-up didn't live up like it seems like a quiet character became active and all the sudden feels like a whole new character. It does feel that way. Oh well.

 

I can never understand the push of The Last timeline since it's explored once. So yeah, fans take the bait much? I don't know. I never support it after knowing it's a one time deal.

I hate this ending because it's ruined my appreciation of the Naruto universe. Even though I really, really disliked books 6 and 7 in HP, I still read fanfic to this day and enjoy thinking about the wonderful world JKR created. The same can be said of Tolkein, or DBZ, or any number of other fandoms I've been a part of. But with Naruto, I just have no desire to think about it outside the fun confines of this community.

Well for me personally the canon story is completely destroyed beyond repair, but I think the premise and the world is still ripe for fanon stories to be told. I am still able to read Naruto stories and it even helped me get over the awful ending that we got. Though I understand where you're coming from because a lot of people have dropped Naruto completely and have moved onto better things.

I would sooner endorse Lee and Sakura coming together as the "normal line" power couple than acknowledge a baseless attraction between spawn wrought with all of the stalkerish negativity of nH and lack of viable chemistry from SS.

I bet the Sasuke cosplayer, just looked for his neighborhood hobo and borrowed his clothes. Meanwhile the Sakura cosplayer, just shortened Sakura's part one outfit and changed the tights from green to black.

Seriously, most of the character designs were terrible and uncreative.
